Ridley Scott just needs to stay away from the subject of UFO's and aliens.  He's dun shot his wad. lol That movie came and went fast.  One of those found-footage films.  Might be good for shits and grins if you can get a free rental, otherwise forget it.

I don't really read much in the way of UFO books anymore unless they have something new to say.  More intrigued with actual cases than bloviated theories from "experts" and historical discussions of Roswell and the like.  Been there.  Done that.

Allen Hynek went from being a UFO skeptic to a true believer, in what remains one of the great misunderstood stories of science.
