Thanks, TL, I needed that.  ;D ;)  Great seeing the old crowd here.  I get really tired of the johnny-come-lately racists.

Totally agree

Maybe he thought that might be what would happen to him in Nam

Yeah.  Can't blame him.  I have no idea what I'd do if I was in his shoes.  I didn't equate the Cong as being villains like the Nazis.   Once again, trying to bail the French out of a mess that we shouldn't have been involved in.

I've been on a Dwight Yoakam kick lately.

Always liked his brand of country music.  He liked the same people that I liked.

He stole the first three notes of Little Ways from this.  ;)

Hey, Bob, do you think maybe these things are demons or some aspect of my subconscious mind?  :D

Shoot, they're talking ontological, paradigm-type stuff.

I'm in a literal little-green-man-mood, man.
Easily digestible.

OMG "Talk Talk"    ;D

Ain't it the truth!

Plus which, Jacques Vallée is a peppier speaker than these two.

I haven't heard that tune in ages. I always considered that song the precursor to the punk movement.   ;D

I can see that.  Garage rock is really the forefather of punk rock.  Thinking of cuts like Psychotic Reaction, Shakin' All Over and the like.

k-not swear..
LOL - okay.  :)
Good to see you pate, and you're right, some decent photo's would go a long way towards credibility.

Knapp's reference to the dogs in trench-coats smoking cigarettes at Skinwalker Ranch cheered me up a bit.

George is the Rock of Talk on the Weird Side.

OK, I have the Talk Talk song in my Nuggets collection.  I guess it didn't tickle my ears like other songs on the set.

I tend to tune out Brit guests after a while unless they are really engaging.

YAY          WI makes the news again. Green Bay as the most drunken city in America.

Yeah. That little throwaway line moved Knapp's Skinwalker Ranch book up to the top of my reading list

Great book.  Bought it when Knapp was just simply a guest on Coast.
