I only made it through the first hour but Knapp was great.  A good report on the recent ISS findings which could turn out to be a major discovery for ET life.  Thank you G. Knapp!

"Roam" by the B-52's.  Haha, great bumper music. "Roam, if you want to ...." (Not after this story.)
I love the guitar solo. Simple yet fun.

Will have to "catch the replay" of this show. Knapp always delivers.

I enjoyed the guest talking about Michael Rockefeller. Years ago when I had heard he died of consumption I thought they meant  TB .

Much obliged. I read the article about what happened to Michael Rockefeller in the Smithsonian Magazine a few weeks ago and curious to hear a longer and more detailed discussion of it. So glad it is Knapp and not the other George for the subject.

Yeah, can you imagine?

Did the head hunters eat little kids?  Did Rocker Fella go through a portal?  Do you think the Hazmat people were possessed by demons?

Yep, thank goodness for the rational George lest we forget good radio.

"I have a TV show on the internet." -- George Noory, sometime last week.

Would a mother headhunter produce "mean babies?"

Do they make longpig pizza rolls?

If coolness was bricks, George Knapp would have enough to build a life-sized replica of the Great Wall of China and STILL have leftovers to spell out "YEEEAH BITCH" over the continent of South America.

I like to think that on Sat. nights, while Noory is singing karaoke in his tight-fitting Elvis costume, Knapp instead is in his stealth gear on an Area 51 stakeout.

Yeah, GK is an old school reporter. That`s exactly what makes him so cool. I can  definitely see him lurking in dicey locations, meeting some surreptitious informants.

And speaking of Area 51, I`m fairly certain GK is going to have Tom DeLonge (of Blink 182 fame) on the show to explain his recent UFO video. Sounds interesting.

As an aside, I wonder if anybody on this forum has ever hiked Tikaboo Peak, overlooking Area 51. It`s kind of a bucket list item for me. One of these days I need to get out there and cross it off the list.

Tonite:  Knapp + Bigfoot + Assorted Cryptids = Gonna Listen.

Immy

Gotta love Knappster's intro wind-ups:

"Turn off the lights, throw a log on the fire and fill your mug with whatever keeps you awake..."  ;D

Elicits the excitement I imagine my grandparents felt during the days of old time radio.

Morgus

Tonight Knapp again spoke to listeners when they call in tonight to "bring their A Game"
Thats in contrast to Noory and  his callers that bring their "F Game" ;)

Absolutely!  It was before my time, but I've heard a lot of recordings of old radio shows, and at its very best it was a magical theater of the imagination.

Correct.  Knapp, like Art, knows that good radio is an imaginitive experience, an evocative mindscape, a kind of virtual reality that they're inviting us into.  Noory however makes it feel like an appointment at the DMV.

This lady is kinda fun to listen to, but she sure sounds like she's got a bee in her bigfoot bonnet.

Great callers tonite:

* One lady claims she communicates telepathically with the "Bigfoot People" and says they have alot to teach us.

* Then a guy just calls in and wonders how these "Chewbaccas" are smart enough to avoid the cameras.

Hahaha oh dear this is why I listen to this show, I just can't help myself.

More like a bat or two in her Bigfoot belfry.  She lost me long before she started talking about fallen angel DNA.  She's nominee for Twit of the Week!

The Chewbacca call was hilarious!  I was surprised Gorge scolded him.

Haha yeah I think the caller also mentioned "a guy in a monkey-suit" or such and I think that irked Knapp a bit.

Funny to get call like that and then shortly after a hippy-dippy earth-mama call about "the hidden history of our ancestors" or something like that.  Sometimes I just love this show (especially w/o el Snooron).

I don't know... when you get Coast to Coast regular and skilled missing person BS'er David Paulides phoning in and now supporting you as a Sasquatch expert, I think it does everybody a disservice.

AvDaBr

Is this Hank Williams Jr's first appearance on Coast To Coast AM?

I too have enjoyed the bumper music tonight.  Has he done "One Piece at a Time" Johnny Cash yet?  If not here it is:
