I've noticed that for years and it creeps me out.  But he does that with a LOT of things, like when he's talking about people he says stuff like "they just want their little homes and their little cars and little jobs and to be able to attend their little sporting events."  It's nutso.

Props to Knapp for playing an Aerosmith song that is not in the top 3 obvious songs to play (note: Noory would only every play the #1 most obvious and he'd think it was from Bon Jovi.)

God, no s@#$!!!!!!!

I'm lovin this Hitler Escaped stuff.

Jackstar

I always thoroughly enjoy stories of Adolf Hitler and Eva Braun escaping together and living happily ever after... because I can totally imagine how that might have gone for them.

Knapp does his homework.......he never disappoints his listeners with half ass interviews.

Jackstar

I am listening to Knapp right now, and he just asked... "What happened to Hitler?"

SPOILER: no, he didn't talk about the spirit. No, just the body. We all care about Hitler's body, right? WHO GIVES A SHIT ABOUT THE ANIMIATING SPIRIT, AMIRITE?

The Saturday show was interesting but almost went south when a caller and then guest Cooper made equivocating sounds about the Nazis and equated Eisenhower to Stalin.  It sure got my attention.  Cooper's characterization of Eisenhower's "starvation" of a million German POWs is pure BS that originated in a debunked Canadian book.I could envision beads of sweat forming on Knapp's forehead as he wondered if he'd been had by a group of Nazi apologists.  Lucky for GK, it came late in the show and he was able to close it out smoothly.  I learned today that Cooper and his Sharkhunter U-boat fan club walk a fine line veering close to neo-nazism without overtly crossing over; associating with them and soliciting their business without promoting them.  I think Knapp "dodged a bullet" with this guy as a guest; it could have blown up in his face.

I wouldn't be surprised to hear GK say something about Cooper tonight.

ItsOver

Knapp did OK, considering the guest, who was constantly digressing and wandering all over the place.  The guest sounded like an escapee from the Edith and Archie Bunker Memorial Rest Home.  Of course, it would have been just the usual disaster of a show if Noory had been the host.

It was a good show. I like Knapp. This guest was on with John Wells some time ago. This was a much better interview. And Knapp does get rid of callers who just like to talk.Knapp is my favorite host.

Knapp mentioning JFK in the first 5 minutes - off the radio goes.

Really? It was a passing reference as an example of great historical events where we question the official record. I am surprised that is what turned you off when there were a lot more politically charged things mentioned.

Listening to it right now. Great show. Great questions. "What if?" questions usually make my eyes roll but Knapp makes me ask myself.. "ya, what if??"

Fun times.

The whole interview all i could think of was "Krieger" from the TV show Archer

zeebo

Wow Knapp's intro tonite was great.  Sometimes I forget what a pro can sound like on c2c - someone who's actually researched the topic, and put together some cohesive thoughts on it, and highlighted some of the various nuances of it with a clear, articulate style.

As opposed to what we usually get:  "Hi how are yeeeww?  What's new with you?  How'd you get into this stuff?"

Designx

Knapp needs to dump this first hour guest.

It's the repeated constant mention of JFK (along with the mob and Beatles) on almost every show Knapp does that makes me turn it off. The guy seemingly lives in the past - at least in the stuff he passingly mentions or seeks as news. His guests thankfully are not always those three topics.

paladin1991

I,too, am enjoying The Knapster this evening.  First guest, more evil secret world gov't shenanigans screwing with the solar industry.  Okay, what I want to hear, is this guest name names and declare them enemies of the ppl.

Most Important John F. Kennedy Assassination Document

Though many suspect that the JFK assassination was the result of a conspiracy, few know that in 1979 the U.S. Congress set up a special committee to investigate claims of a conspiracy. In their "Summary of Findings and Recommendations," that select committee stated, "The committee believes, on the basis of the evidence available to it, that President John F. Kennedy was probably assassinated as a result of a conspiracy." Read the entire summary and then explore why so few people are aware of this at the link below.

Knapp was awesome tonight. So pro.

Speaking of Knapp's first hour guest tonight and the topic of geoengineering, I had a weird experience while out on a walk today.

There were some plains flying overhead leaving a contrail-there were something like five I could see-with maybe 3 or 4 miles between them, flying south to north. I walked directly under at least one of the plane's paths.  When I came home I had some kind of strange itching and small hives, like I was having an allergic reaction. The hives disappeared after 2 hours.  No idea where that came from. I was considering rubbing tumeric on them.

Knapp did good when he handled the guy who was all about messianic prophets or whatnot.

"I saw Hitler when I was in the mental hospital." And I saw Mussolini's reflection during a bad hangover.

Were you consuming massive doses of Carnivora?  Sounds like your immune system was over modulating.

No comments on the article GK posted in "Knapp's News" about saturday guest Harry Cooper and his nearly-Nazi dossier?  I posted yesterday that I smelled a skunk when Cooper couldn't bring himself to condemn the Nazis.  Seems Knapp did too.  I googled a little deeper and found that Cooper and the "apolitical" Sharkhunters had even bought a crucifix for the grave of loyal-Nazi to-the-end Adm. Doenitz.

I didn't sense any pro-Nazi leanings from Cooper, but I did find it interesting comparing his take on Hitler's fate to the author/former C2C guest who wrote the book about Hitler going to Indonesia post-war.  Was it "Rat Line" or something like that?  I think either Knapp or Ian interviewed this author.

Back in the 60s/70s there were several books written on the alleged escape of Tsar Nicholas and the Imperial Family from Russia.  Like Cooper, the authors of those books found actual messages from various official US government and diplomatic sources from around the world in the US National Archieves describing the escape and later life of the Tsar and family in places like Poland, China, and think Japan.

It was Peter Levin and the host was Ian Punnett.
I thought Levin's story was interesting because Germany did have extensive trade ties in Indonesia from the 1800s up until WW2.

Not only that, but the Germans had a U-boat base in Indonesia (actually the NEI then) for the last couple years of the war.  I think the base was at Penang, don't remember where Levin said Hitler finally settled.

He didn't directly expose it but I sensed something disingenuous when a caller near the end of the show claimed that Eisenhower intentionally starved a million German POWS to death (a well debunked lie); Cooper agreed with him and pretty much equated the actions of the Allies with the Germans. At that point Knapp's tenor changed and he tried to pin him down on the horror of the Holocaust and Cooper avoided a direct answer.  He started saying things like "No ones hands are clean in war."   I thought to myself "Holy crap, this guy's a closet Hitlerphile!"  The piece posted by GK shows he agreed , and that Cooper has a documented rep as, if not overtly a neonazi, at least having substantial associations with neonazis and doing business tailored to them.  I suspect Knapp's C2C producer got an ass reaming today for sloppy research.

I'm sure if that was true it would have been mentioned in the Untold History Of The United States.  I mean, the other things they did include, why not this...
