CBS REPORTER GEORGE KNAPP IS A BIGOT & PEA BRAIN

I'm a fan of Knapp.  But that guy isn't.

That reporter is quite obviously a dunderhead. It`s animal abuse, pure and simple.

I tend to agree with you.  But it's okay to lasso a cow or calf but not a horse?  Why?  Because the cow is going to be lunch at some point?  I think causing the animal any undue duress is animal abuse.

I`m a card carrying, lifetime member of PETA.  I reckon that pretty much stakes out my position on all animal issues.

Yup. That speaks volumes.  You're vegan too aren't you?

affirmative.

I guess I'm a bigot too.  I agree with George Knapp.  Mexico needs a new national sport.

You realize they stab the bull with swords in the back and it eventually bleeds out, during a "bull fight".  There is Zero reason for that. Its cruel plain and simple.

Now if someone wants to do that to El Chapo who they just caught and fight him, then I want to know where I can get tickets.

onan

I say we start lassoing children and old people... nothing says entertainment like that.

b_dubb

bull fighting is what's leftover from the old Roman coliseum events.  it's time that old, cruel tradition died out IMO

Yeah, that was his statement before signing off last weekend. He said he would be back for Saturday and Sunday

Not only that, but on Saturday he has near death experiences, which I find fascinating. And on Sunday, he has a good old fashioned classic Coast to Coast show with Richard Dolan and UFOs.

Sounds like a good weekend of radio.

Wow back-to-back Knapps, and you're right they both look promising.

It's odd to look forward to c2c, and not just the guest half of it which can sometimes be extracted out of it if you can strip out the Noory noise - but the whole host/guest combo.  Especially two nites in a row.  Feels odd.

I am listening to SIT with Art.....and PUMPED for two nights of Knapp!   ;D  Fourty five minutes away!

Knaaaaaaaaaaap time!

I missed the first guest tonite but really enjoying Dr. Penny Sartori.  She's well-spoken and genuine and I feel she has some important things to say.  And of course Knapp is right there with thoughtful and informed questions & comments.

Great show. Very interesting.  Heck, makes ya think there might just be something else after death  besides being worm food. ;)

Great show...

Recently Knapp has been off his game, but tonight was good.  D.B. Grady on a "backpack" nuke program we had back in the sane days of the cold war.  Dr. Penny Sartori on life after death.  There is something about a female Irish accent that gets me so in the mood for the paranormal.  I liked that story a caller related who witnessed a woman's face changing into different ethnicities at the moment of her death.  And you gotta love Knapp's ability to comment on his bumper music unlike a certain dweeb we all know.  But please, Knapp, drop the long winded intro, it ain't you, babe.

HorrorRetro

I caught a bit of the first guest and about an hour of the second one.  I'm not normally into NDE shows, but it was interesting. However, when she's explaining that people from different cultures see figures important to their culture/religion when they have an NDE, to me, that decreases the odds that what they are seeing is real. My reasoning is that's what they are programmed to see based on their religious background. If people from vastly different cultures/religions reported seeing the same thing, despite their religion, I would have more faith it was real.  Not sure if that makes sense. I'm still on my first cup of coffee.  :o

That was a Northern English accent...

Awesome Saturday night!  Loved every second!  Thanks, Mr. Knapp!   ;)

Anyone count how many times guest Dr. Penny Sartori used the phrase "as well" last night?
I'd say at least 927 times... :D

They probably thought this was a George Noory show and they just wanted to save the listener the pain of having to listen to such drivel.

ItsOver

I actually listened to most of the show last night and may listen again tonight.  It was certainly nice to have a professional host, for a change.

I wasn't all that impressed with the second guest, though.  From what I heard, it seemed to be just a report on a number of different NDE's.  I was hoping for a report on something closer to experimental studies with NDE's, such as the operating room studies where they've placed messages that would only be visible to somebody supposedly have an OBE.  As far as I know, after a number of years, nobody has ever supposedly come back from the dead and reported actually seeing those type of messages.  Maybe that's why the second guest was just reporting anecdotes.

Nope, more like 1,232 times!  She must be related to Noory who also uses "as well" 5,000 times a week!  I must say that she was still interesting!  Something that I can not say about Noory!

Dick Dolan is on the program  tonight discussing UFOs.

Dolan always brings game.

Now, it's ''nap-to-Knapp'' time.

If it is a subject you are interested in, it will be a good show. If it isn't, it might be a good show. If you are completely against the subject for whatever reasons, it will probably be a bad show. Due to his investigative/reporting background, you know that whatever he does he will give it it's due and ask relevant questions. Knapp will deliver on the subject and give the topic its chance to shine.

But he isn't an entertainer so he isn't going to elevate the subject for you, he will just bring the best out of the subject.

I think he does a fine job picking his topics/guests or premrat does. Whatever it is, a bad Knapp show is still worth a listen.

bateman

Knapp sounds really energetic tonight.

zeebo

Wide awake in Knapp-town!   :D

bateman

See, it's always nice to hear a host who's clearly interested in the topic he's covering.
