Yeah, it's a straight cable.  I managed to hook them up to the 502 & to the computer with the rca to 1/8 cable to see what they sound like.  Mic was great, headphones didn't come through too clear.  I'm positive I am doing something wrong, but it is fun to go, "What's this dial do?"

The headphone cushions are insane.  I barely hear myself when I am talking with these things on.  It's a blissfully heavy headset.  The mother of all headsets.  I want to take them to Aldous' Medicine Man to have them blessed.

Once you get the 286s processor online and the compressor engaged into the signal chain, you will be able to increase the overall gain of your mic, far and above what the 502 mic amp can achieve on it's own, and it will greatly improve the headphone volume levels.

Falkie would end up in an orange jumpsuit for getting caught on video murdering me.  That's the only logical conclusion to that scenario.

Is there any way to take out (or soften) background bumper music from an audio clip of Art talking? It doesn't need to be perfect.

Thats a tall task. It's like trying to remove a single cup of floor from an already baked cake. I do have a processor that might be able to dimish the music or enhance the voice track, but it works best with 2 track stereo mix, using a phase shift to cancel out certain parts of the audio spectrum. It's probably a mono clip if it's before dark matter and it might be impossible.
I can listen to it and give it a try to see what I come up with. Send the clip at the highest audio resolution possible, (Preferably in .aif or .wav format, if at all possible)  and I'll see what I can do. No promises.

Give me a second. I'm at work. I'll log in to my home computer and drop box the whole show into a folders. It's right near the start after ross mitchell speaks. Art talks about mel and I cut out a bit about dropping line into the hole to get the measurement. I'll post the drop box link shortly.
