she's sitting watching tv and expecting Patty and I to do the work.
She's going to get a rude awakening from Patty and I when I go over there tonight.
We're going to make her work and not just sit there.
It's really made Patty and I mad at her.
Kathy cleans your house, but you don't help her. Sounds about right. You really should fuck off Falkie.

I did 6/10 on the quiz after a 4/4 start.  I don't know whether to be disappointed or relieved that I have a life.  ???

Ok, thanks for the questions Doc Who, GFP and Ladyfish.
Here is the quiz, Have You Been Paying Attn to Falkie?

God help me...

Oh come on now Mr. Bateman, we all know that you intentionally answered some of the questions wrong to get a lower score.

Kind of ironic that the "haters" are getting the best scores.

Well done Jen... Thanks for the fun!

These questions have renewed my interest in Falkie, I'm not trolling, no way no how. I'm just curious about a few things. Being dead for 3 days? WTF. Having dinner with George Takei, studying to be a stage actor. Of course, I do realize that just because these stories have been conveyed it doesn't mean they are true....maybe just embellished, but I'm interested in the deets.

Well, when the AB thread has too many conversations going on it's tough to enjoy. You can always find something hilarious in here. I like it here.
I love this thread. It takes some gooftastic turn every week. Better than a reality show.

True. But I wouldn't mind hearing the tales just the same.

Bulkie died. His mother, who was a nurse, refused anyone trying to take him to the basement and packed him down in ice for three days and he miraculously came to. He then returned the favor when she died by stealing her credit card to buy electronics. He exaggerated (read: lied) that he wandered the streets of San Francisco in a daze for three months after his father died, so anything he says is suspect.

2/10 THANK GOD! You people who scored "higher" disgust me worse than Falkie! ;) Ignorance is no longer bliss, it is decency and virtue.

Coaster, there you go again, being unfair to George.
Kathy had two months to get her act together and move her stuff.
George only had one month notice to clean his apartment.

Both procrastinated to the last minute, so Kathy had a full extra month more than Geroge to be lazy.
Oh wait, that's wrong, George had to do a month of laundry and dishes before the inspection, while Patty was helping Kathy. And then Patty helped George. Or was it the other way around.
Patty needs to work harder so she can afford a car with air conditioning.

Kathy has only cleaned MY apartment once or twice and nothing this time.
Damned insane apartment manager even bitched about my having dry cat food dishes in my bedroom saying it might draw rats. With 3 cats in my apartment ?
I am going to go to the housing director and raise hell about her ridiculous restrictions and am going to take steps in the next 6 months to move where no one can tell me what to do with my stuff or pets.
And call channel 7 again as they are interested in my story.
Watch this space for developments.
In 75 days, I start phase one of the project and have ways to fund it other than Noory.
The adventure will eventually continue elsewhere.
And Patty comes tomorrow to loan me her vaccuum as we then take my vacuum to the shop and then go help Kathy.

What happened to the loan, Crow and Daggit, no pm about your firefighter friend as the idiot manager said my books are a fire hazard. The woman is insane.

No, I had 6 days notice.
I have been given a 30 day extension to clean the clutter and remove blocking items from their ridiculous 36 inch of clearance rule.
I am going to rent a storage spaceand once phase one is in place, find out how much phase one A will cost me to eliminate the need for paying for storage.
Then onto Phase 3, the building of Fortess Falkenberg.
And NOT in a cave deep below the earth.

You gaffer tape your specs to your head; tell the world (still) the minutea of your life;  make videos that very few know exist, let alone watch; block up the window and can't see that fire crews might have to get your fat ass through it and the inspector is insane?

Got it.

PathoJen

Falkie, unless you have a Dyson or some other expensive vacuum cleaner, I would forgo the repair and instead just buy a new one.
Right now at Home Depot., there is a Dirt Devil Bagless Cyclone on sale for $49.95
I guess it would not hurt to get a diagnostic on your old vacuum, in case it's a belt or something, but generally speaking, it's almost cheaper to buy a new one.

It would appear we have two like-minded people who refuse to clean up after themselves unless they're threatened with eviction.  It's beyond disgusting and it's been going on a long time.  Here's the video Senda posted in October 2013 when he received an e-mail from George Noory telling him to clean up his apartment.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=70zUwrBFUBo

"Tell ya what, Noory.  Next time you come to the San Francisco Bay Area, drop me an e-mail.  And when you're done with your venue, come on over here.  You can help me vacuum or maybe do my dishes.  Or, um, help me carry laundry downstairs to the washer and dryer.  Maybe I can make you my willing kitchen slave.  Because one thing about you, you make presumably ten, a hundred, a thousand times more than I make a month.  You got a house.  You can afford a housekeeper.  I can't.  I'm a poor and poverty-stricken man.  That's part of the reason I'm postin' these videos . . . so if I pay them 50 bucks to come in here and help clean, do I send you the bill George?  Let me know, will ya?"

George, should save up to purchase a new Dyson vacuum cleaner. With years of dust and cat hair floating around his apartment, it's got to be hard on his already compromised cardio vascular system, lungs and sinuses. Dyson vacs work so much better than any other vacs we ever owned.

If I was In George's situation, I'd rent a storage location, move everything into it. Get rid of the apartment, buy a RV motor home and live and travel in that. Hit open road and make videos of all the adventures. Go north in the summer and south in the winter, live life like a free bird.

Uh, there's the little matter of no drivers license. Not only is he unlikely to come up with the $$$ to pay the outstanding fines and penalties, he also could not keep from running his mouth to the DMV hearing officer, incriminating himself further.

And Dyson vacuums are a rip off. A Hoover bagless is just as good if not better at 1/4 the price.

They're over priced and they damage carpets. I used to live across from a guy who owned a carpet shop and he always advised his customers not to buy a Dyson as they'd damage the carpet.

If they're expensive but ineffectual, then Falkie will surely set his sights on one, just like he thinks he needs an SSD to store old videos.

I variously lived on the street, couch surfed, and lived in the cab of a compact import pick-up for several months while going to university and working two jobs.  It was a horrible experience for many reasons, but very freeing.  It was the only time for a long spell that I didn't wake up every morning thinking about how miserable my life was.  Right now I don't see what your other non-apartment options are besides getting a broken down van and squatting somewhere.
