Falkie, why isn't Kathy helping with this?
She has no choice but to act yet doesn't.

You forgot Microsoft.com

Was Falkie a moderator for Microsoft?  I hope there weren't multiple correct answers for that one.

It's purely practicalities; you can't physically get that amount of flesh in such a confined space and expect the oxygen to last out for them all.

He would have been if his mother hadn't put a spanner in the works. It was all her fault.

Was that the infamous Bill Gates job offer?

Yeah, but that was a step up from being chief moderator at MS chatrooms (Hooker division)_

Yeah, I know.  You've posted the definitions of work before.  However, generally one applies context, takes the most appropriate definition, and disregards the rest unless he's a robot or computer which can't make that distinction.  One doesn't blanket-apply all the definitions simultaneously.

I know you have a lot of health challenges, and I don't envy you on that, although my compassion is limited because I think you could have avoided them in the first place and could still do much to alleviate them.  You may also be a hard worker when it's do or die, but I use 'hard working' as a general character trait and, perhaps I'm wrong, but I'm not getting that vibe.  Patty, however, is going well out of her way for both you and your girlfriend, probably without much in the way of thanks.  She sounds like a no-nonsense, hard working sort.

Anyway, good luck.  Contrary to what you may think I have the best interests of you and those around you at heart.

I have thanked Patty all to hell and am going to pay her money for doing it, give her gas money and take her out to breakfast or dinner. I also gave her an extra pet carrrier for her little dog and a spare window fan I don't use.
Kathy will probably reimburse her as well.

Kathy is busy, I presume supposedly cleaning and packing but from what I saw the other evening, she's sitting watching tv and expecting Patty and I to do the work.
She's going to get a rude awakening from Patty and I when I go over there tonight.
We're going to make her work and not just sit there.
It's really made Patty and I mad at her.

How did you both meet? Has she always been this sad a sack?

No. She has given up caring deep down and that's a long story.
but I have other issues.
My vacuum cleaner may have just died.

Sometimes they get too hot and turn themselves off.  Give it a half hour to cool down, and look for a reset button

It sounds like clinical depression.  If so, you and Patty reading her the riot act would be the last thing she needs.

Nothing a steady paycheck couldn't solve.
Sorry, I have no empathy for someone who chooses to live in a trash-strewn environment that is already being provided at no expense.

Ok, thanks for the questions Doc Who, GFP and Ladyfish.

The polar opposite of John Hammond? -"spare no expense"...

Well, you need to read the Falkie thread from beginning to end and get up to speed.

Good work!  Very professional.  It must be a lot of trouble to put one of those together, sourcing all the images and everything.

Just one note:  In question 6), 'All of the Above' is the second option.

I know GFP. It randomizes the answers unfortunately.

I scored an 8 out of 10.

I knew he had a group dinner with George Takei with some type of Star Trek-based organization, but I thought the question meant a one-on-one sit down.  Maybe he has had a solo dining experience as well, but if so, I was not aware.

"You might be a troll. You know too much. You should be ashamed." - Who knew?  ;D

I wonder if the Falkie thread is for misfits and the Art Bell thread is for the popular kids? Or is it visa versa?

About the dinner, I received the questions from other members of this thread b/c I didn't have enough knowledge to make a Falkie quiz on my own.
I wish Falkie would take the quiz and elaborate on the dinner story, and the story about being a trained stage actor.

Falkie was the former, and Jesus was the latter.  Easy to confuse the two.
I have promised myself to try to steer away from this thread again (I did really well for a couple of weeks...)  However, this was one of the funniest comments in recent memory.

Well, when the AB thread has too many conversations going on it's tough to enjoy. You can always find something hilarious in here. I like it here.
