Rickles has said that Frank would get into moods and people were terrified of him because of his temper.
But if you were a friend of Frank, you stayed a friend for life unless you did something to piss him off, then he wrote you off for good.
I sat with the man in Vegas with Totie Fields and my Mother in the Riviera coffee shop and was awed that here was the guy whose records I had played over and over for years sitting across from me. He always called me kid and I Mr. Sinatra. May Totie and he RIP.

Here's a link to Sinatra telling the Don Rickles story I mentioned earlier:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mxHlOF-UsdM

I wish I could find the version where Rickles tells the story himself, but haven't been able to.

I just sent Falkie a game-changing idea that I had for videos he could do that might go viral, and the idea is positive and uplifting (for real), although not related to his current work.

I'm not going to post it here yet because he may not like it, and I don't want to anger him, but I want it on record that I shared a really good idea with him.  It would tug at the heartstrings, and would paint him in a very positive light should the media ever decide to pick up on it.  This is in no way trolling (as some of you call my efforts) - this is 100% legit.

I think if George loves Frank then he should sing his favorite Sinatra song on a video.
I can kill The Summer Wind.

... I will say this. 2 people on that podcast give/gave Noory no respect as a person with their comments and one was absolutely beyond reprehensible...

George Noory should not be shown respect.  Lazy.  Unprepared.  Still inept with the language after all these years.  The glee when delivering stories about dead children and animals.  He doesn't try, doesn't care, isn't interested, refuses to improve.  Why would or should anyone respect that?

Who was beyond reprehensible?  Was it George?

... I think he should be treated with fairness and he doesn't get a lot of that on here...

I think George is treated very fairly.  He has been offered any number of suggestions on how to improve - extremely valuable feedback for any performer.  It's his fault he doesn't take advantage of it - one could say he doesn't respect his audience.

He is mocked, satirized, and lampooned - mostly based on things he himself has said.  His nightly suckage is documented, but only a small portion of it.  What is 'unfair' about any of this?

Did it leave (Retracted) speechless?

484 pages of Falkie related Falkiness. Just let that sink in. Dave is gonna start taking show notes from George now.

(Retracted):  Hi, Paper*Boy!!!   :D :D ;D ;D ;) ;)  I'm still here - Gerry just keeps me in check, and on a short leash!!!  He did have a great idea, though.  Why don't you share it with everyone, Gerry?    :-* :-* :-* ::) ::) ::) ??? ??? ???

Yeah, I will now as George has rejected it.  I'll share his reply comments further down.  Here's the text of what I sent him:
Hey - I just had an idea for you - a good one this time.  You are a generous guy, often mentioning how you help people like Kathy and Patty, and how you plan to help others in the future.  Before I continue, check out this video:
http://youtu.be/RfU8TUZRtZg
Almost 750,000 views.

What if you went out on the streets, and maybe gave some food or something to some homeless people, and then you actually engaged them as human beings rather than as those that most people would turn away from?  Don't go looking for crazies or junkies - just those who seem like they're down on their luck, and need some genuine human compassion.

You could talk to them for a few moments, and would probably hear some interesting stories.  Maybe you can print up some business cards with the names of a few agencies that offer support and resources to people like that.  You could then say, "hey, I'm a guy who has problems of my own, and I could use some help too, but I'm here to help you out tonight, and to tell you that you matter."  I guarantee that something like that would go viral, might get picked up on the news, and might change yours and Kathy's lives if the right people saw it and started a donation fund for you.

George replied:   "I've thought of this but many homeless are druggies/ alcoholics and dangerous. Have tried to give food. They get furious and want money."

If that is his experience with the people in his area, who am I to argue?  I don't want to put him in harm's way.

(Retracted):  That's true, but you are a good guy, Gerry!  You're always looking out for the Big Guy, and trying to help him out.  Falkie could use more people like you!!!      :'( :'( :-* :-* :-* 8) 8) 8) 8) :o

Thanks, (Retracted).  A plan like this would only work if someone like Falkie tried it, because George Senda is a good guy at heart, and he cares about people.

(Retracted):  Yeah, he's a softy alright - just a big, loveable teddy bear!  Hi, Falkie!!!!    :D :D :D ;D ;D ;D :o :o ;) ;) ;)

If I don't put it in writing, who will hold me accountable?

Falkie, if the single lottery ticket in my possession nets me the $50 Million this Friday, before anything else, I would like to meet you, stand with you for a photograph/autograph, and shake your hand. Kathy must be present.

I'd like to be the bologna in that Kathy and Falkie sandwich.

This is no joke Falkie. It would be my honor to collect my winnings and head straight to the airport for that autograph.

Hell. To make it a party, I'd be willing to stop in and pick up whichever Falkie supporters stand between me and that sandwich. I'll be flying in business class, but it'll be a party once we touch ground. Promise.

I'm no expert.  That was my understanding though.

And you're correct. Senda hasn't spoken to any manufacturers. He's full of shit. Once the patent lapses the drugs can be copied and because they're generic (but constrained by strict rules) they're identical. But Senda hasn't a clue about most things so no surprises. His own shitty lifestyle is the reason for his continued crap health, not generic drugs.

Sure. Toss me a few bucks so I can  use your money to buy Apple products that I have no idea how to use and then hire a  trick Kathy and Patty into being my housekeeper  for free like the downtrodden slaves they are to me.

Fixed.

That one was too easy Sendamemoney.

As usual, George got attacked for not calling in yet when he did call in, I heard NO apologies for the comments made.

He wasn't calling in despite having said he would until the last 10 minutes you dickless spineless joke of a a man. And MV said George really had a pair (or something like this) after he finally did.

If he calls up Gabcast as a guest, he should be treated with respect and he was not.

New Kathy video is up.

Well first of all, you said he deserves respect here, not on the gabcast. This site isnt the gabcast. And why do you think he deserves respect from us, but not from you in your videos? More stupid lying, hypocritical bullshit from the slob conman.

Long before this thread started and Noory granted Falkie the famed interview, I was an open Noory supporter, in the sense that I don't understand why everyone digs on him constantly.   I have repeatedly said I am not a fan of his, but Noory has earned a deep level of respect from me.  I truly believe what he says when he calls into the gabcast.   I think it was unfair for Redacted to make some of the snide remarks she made, and Nooryisawesome just really blew it, IMO as well.    Seriously you two, you are talking to another human being who has done what, put on a radio show that you don't like?  He has given very clear and plausible explanations as to the things that you all have felt he did to wrong Art.   As much as I enjoy Art's programs - believe me, he's a million times the radio host than Noory is as you all know - Art has come across on this board as less than professional at times and has definitely given me reason to believe Noory all the more.   I find that very sad, and maybe it's because being part of this board has given me an opportunity to find out how the sausage is made.   I know Art is just human like the rest of us, and that he makes mistakes too (WTF was he thinking about the non compete!), but its sad none the less.  I think if I were Art, I would have never posted on this board except to dispel bits of news information here and there to keep up the level of excitement.    Not that I will ever become a public figure of Art's level, but I think there is definitely a lesson to be learned here.   Kudos to Noory for going on the gabcast and facing such harsh criticism from nearly everyone on this board.   Kudos to Falkie for changing his mind about Noory. Falkie is so bull headed.... that was a very very difficult thing for him to do.    If Falkie can do it, I don't see why the rest of you can't.   You are getting your Art back.  Don't be Noory fans, but don't be haters either.. what's the point?

This plan was proposed with the hopes of making him money.  If his videos of someone in his position helping others less fortunate than even he is went viral, he would hopefully earn more YouTube money.

In addition, the reason I didn't post about this until after the idea had been rejected is the line that I highlighted above.  I really hoped that Falkie's good deeds would be picked up by the media, courtesy of Open Lines Gerry's incessant, drum-banging promotional efforts, of course, and that it would spark the public to start up a donation fund for both him and Kathy.  I didn't want my post of the idea to be turned against him as some might later claim that he was only in it for the dough, so that's why I initially kept my mouth shut.

I've always assumed that everybody on this board is equal in being human with all the foibles therein. But your attempt at sounding the voice of reason is a fail. Comparing a drunken diatribe to (Redacted)'s spot on questioning of Gnoory alone disqualifies your review as a valid opinion. I seriously tried to understand your objection to (Redacted)'s comporting of herself but my only conclusion is that you are either bummed that you were passed over as co-host (I guess Art was not impressed?), or you are feigning disappointment as a means of overcompensating for having a pussy wider than the grand canyon. Is that a wrong thing to say?

You'll get a pm from Senda by advocating that. He can't sustain his billion dollar income stream from yt videos if this thread was abandoned by everyone. I say everyone because his 'fans' are insignificant and between them wouldn't raise a semi hard on, let alone a few million dollars.

Having said that, no-one else looks at his videos and sustains his lavish and high flying lifestyle.

His options therefore are a bit limited as far as fandom is concerned.

3OctaveFart

I have always said if you can make your hobby pay for a case of beer, then you've made it in some capacity. All he needs is a mere trickle of income.
