Unless he writes outside the quotes, I don't even bother reading Paladin's posts.

I snicker at him wasting many seconds of his existence toggling and untoggling the boldface.

Falkie's Noory adventure has inspired me.  I am going to right a book.  Don't have much yet, but here are the first few paragraphs:

Fear and Loathing in Santa Cruz: An Embarrassing Journey to the Heart of an American Grifter

We were somewhere outside of San Jose on the edge of the bay when the flatulence kicked in. I remember saying something like "My fingers and toes hurt, maybe you should drive. Moron."...

A radio station host had given me $240 in cash, most of which had already been spent on processed food. The trunk of the Prius looked like a mobile 7/11.  We had two uncooked chickens, seventy five pizza rolls, five sheets of high powered, extra frosting Cinnabon rolls, a salt shaker half full of energy drink powder, and a whole galaxy of frozen meals - Marie Calenders, Jimmy Deans, TGIF, Hungry Man... and also a pint of Chunky Monkey, a pint of Cherry Garcia, a quart of Snapple, and two dozen immodium tablets.

All of this had been rounded up the night before, in a protracted, low speed amble around downtown Martinez - from my place to Kathy's place, we picked up everything we could get our hands on. Not that we needed all this for the trip, but when you are locked into a serious junk food collection, the tendency is to push it as far as you can.

How nice of little miss bitchy to go out of her way to bring up my past posts from another board and by quoting someone else's post in here and rehashing it.
I had interactions with WOMEN on that board. Not for sex but because they were ( and some of them still are ) my friends. Unlike most, I accept what they do and don't put them down for it. I also had dozens of male friends on that board and resent the Feds and the state taking away my ability to be able to contact and interact with them. I was there for the social aspects of the board and did not pay for any sexual encounters even though the haters on that board have implied I did when I did not.
MV used to have a rule against this sort of thing and early on in this thread I was regularly attacked by stalkers who regularly attacked me for everything from my weight, health status, politics & more on that board and followed me to this one.
It's not right of them or her to do that and they know it.
I take back my comment about leaving her alone.
This action proves she is a bitch in perpetuity when it comes to me. There's no legitimate reason to do that other than to embarrass me or make fun of me in here.
The shitstorm never seems to stop even when I am trying to better my life.
Intellectually, I don't understand anyone who continually does nothing but leave hate posts day after day and hour after hour. Not just directed at me but in general. I saw it all the time on that board, see it on here and other boards and to me it shows a deep mental sickness inside those posters.
I'm not perfect. I have made mistakes in my life.
But I can and do change.
If you don't like me without getting to know who I try am, go focus your efforts on some other target.
I don't have the the time to continually have to deal with your hate.
I have to get out of here.

She should be banned. But won't happen, as double standards do exist.
This just makes you out to look better. When a person has to snipe you with hearsay and innuendo, they have lost.

Same here.  It's unfortunate, too, because despite the fact that I don't usually agree with him (although sometimes I do), I can't help but laugh at some of the stuff he comes up with.  It's just too difficult to read unless it's like a normal post.

Thank you. I appreciate the comment very much.
Just got back from the bank and got a windfall I was expecting but never thought I would get as it had been 8 months. I got a $600 check in the mail and another small one for $ 15. I put it in the bank and am going to give Kathy a hundred of it, pay my rent ahead for next month, send money to someone on here, pay bills and buy my wet cat food. And take Kathy to see the Avengers movie IF we can find the other half of my glasses. And take her to diinner as her early birthday present.
No Noory check yet but will use part of that to buy the new mike and use the rest for food and bills.
Will call Gabcast in a minute. My allergies are laughing at the Allegra.
And shut up Pail-O-Poop.
I told my banker life is too short to hate people.
If there is a heaven and a hell, we all go to one or the other.
If not, some of us have lived a righteous life, some have amended their ways and done good and some are evil and remain that to the end of their days.
We're all in the same leaky lifeboat on the rapids.
Except me. They've had their chance 3 times and missed. I ain't goin'.

Falkie2013

Tried to call the Gabcast twice as MV asked and got some idiot talking about do it yourself car repair and then had people in chat malign me as usual.
Onan the jerk got his wish.
MV, don't ask me to call your trainwreck of a show if you are not hosting it to control the animals you have on there.
There's no point to call a show where I immediately get abused by people and the guy picking up the phone can't act in a professional manner.
And if you don't like my comment on it, too damned bad.

I didn't get a good vibe from Tommy.
He was dark, brooding and unpleasant.
At least Noory can ape a nice guy.
I have never seen any gay jokes about Danheiser.
Yesh you have.  You saw Danheiser himself.  He's the joke.  And punchline.  Unless, of course, you are Felchie, then Kath is the punchline

He does this. The Atlantic couldn't even interview Noory without Danheiser being there.

Maybe someone in radio can speak to the officious relationship between producer and host. I can't.

This one is unhealthy. I've never worked in radio but known some producers and local guys (though just local talk and rock station) and the producers are usually made fun-of, in a kind way, on air (and in private.) Producers, for radio, aren't like movies/tv producers. They aren't the "money man" but just do the 'tech' stuff, soundboard, sound levels, screen callers, on/off 'live', etc. Tommy seems to have some 'hold' over Norry and they have a toxic, to the media, co-dependent relationship to suckage on radio, and apparently now even on tv (though internet-based.)

Yes, exactly. My impression was that the producer was relentlessly mocked behind the door, like Stern's Pig Vomit.
And any semi-social interaction (or whatever that meet-and-greet was) between the two would be preposterous.
For Falkie it was like asking a girl out and her sister tags along, and then she sits there like a cigar store Indian at dinner.

I don't know where to begin with this story, so I'll just do stream-of-consciousness.

George is known as "Falkenberg2001" on the website www.myredbook.com.  It's a site dedicated to trading information about prostitutes in the greater SF Bay Area.  If you go to that site and register, you can do a search on archived posts.  In that search you will find lots of fun stuff about George:

* He once tried to pimp out a pregnant woman to guys who wanted to suckle breast milk.

* He has a reputation for sponging money off of hookers, particularly the older ones, with his sob stories.  One hooker told a story wherein he said that he was broke and didn't have money for food.  She said she would help him and he got excited.  She went to the story and bought several bags of groceries and delivered them to his house.  He got upset with her because he wanted money, not food.

* He stalked a hooker (physically) to the point where she contacted one of the site owners and asked to have him banned, and she called the police.

* He's met every single celebrity and politician of note who were popular from the 1950's through the 1980's.  When one of them dies, he's right on the spot with some anecdote about him and that person.  He was nicknamed "Baron von Munchhausen" by another poster.

* He once walked the entire path of the BART line on the tracks themselves, a journey of some 40 miles, including under the Bay.

* In the early 2000's he was twice fired from his minimum wage jobs for stealing money and goods from the owner.  He reported all of this on the myredbook website, hoping to get sympathy (and handouts).

* He got a job in 2005 working at a movie theatre.  He was REALLY excited about it ("Gosh-wow!"), not because he had a job, but because he thought he could watch movies for free.  He got fired not long after that.  No one knows if it's because he was watching movies on the job, or pinching food from the snack bar.

* He's never held a job that makes more than minimum wage.  About eight years ago, after he lost his job at the theatre, and couldn't find another one.  About six months later, he found a doctor to certify him as "permanently disabled."  He's been living off of disability since then.

* He was reprimanded by a forum moderator for making racist posts.  His posts mostly consist of 20 to 30 anti-Obama cartoons that he's dug up off of the Internet.

* He's killed at least two of his pet cats.  He sat on one (*squish*) and stepped on the other.  The second one lived for a time, and while it did he solicited donations from other posters to pay for vet bills, which he claimed would cost in excess of $500.  Some openly wondered if the cat ever existed in the first place.

* His hygiene is not good, including his oral health.  He let a tooth rot until it became abscessed and caused a severe sinus infection.  He claimed to have almost died.  And asked for financial help.  All of the difficulty was due to the incompetence of others, though, not him.

* He's famous for his ability to exaggerate.  Like the time that he claimed that he spent 200 hours on the phone with a Dell customer service rep to fix a problem (due to Dell's incompetence and the rep's incompetence).  That's 200 hours, as in five full-time weeks.

Lord, I could go on for hours.  This is just off the top of my head.  The guy is a welfare cheat, an amoral weasel, and is probably mentally retarded.  It's all in the myredbook archives if you care to look it up, and it's only there because he TOLD everyone this stuff.  Imagine what he might have left out because he was too ashamed.
good stuff

Tommy stood next to George or off to one side or schmoozed with the radio people. He was courteous to me and Kathy but I could not see everything because of my glasses.
By the by, I sent the money to someone on here tonight who loaned me money to get to both events and was amazed that he got it in seconds through Paypal.

Maybe Tommy is his MK Ultra Illuminati handler.  The handlers can't let their mind-controlled celebrity victims have too much freedom, or they make break out of their programs.  Falkie, did you notice if Noory switched alters during your time with him?

I think the quote is actually supposed to be "it sure does...it sure does."  Noory likes to say that a lot, along with stuff like "they sure do...they sure do."

I think they're just friends.   Noory isn't married anymore, I presume, and Tommy seems like he's a single guy based on someone else's statements that he was hitting on female cast members at the Star Trek experience in Las Vegas.   He probably just likes hanging out with the "celebrity" and getting a little left-over poon here and there.  No big deal.. every celebrity has their "entourage."

I do think that Noory lied during the interview saying he loved doing these kinds of events.  I don't think that's true.   He looks like he could care less to be there.  I think he does them to build or help his business.   He's probably contractually tied to do a certain number of them.  The real thing I think he loves to do in his free time is hang out with his kids and his grandkids.  As Falkie pointed out during the interview, it makes no sense to be in St. Louis, and Noory repeatedly said he was there for his family.   So I call bullshit on that one Noory.  But it's okay to admit you love spending time with your family, next time just give the correct answer.
