Falkies gonna do exactly what he wants to do. You can talk, coddle, scream, cry to him about anything, you may as well be doing it to the wall. Hes 63 years old, this is how he lives his life, and he ain't gonna change.

That was my point exactly.  If people want to offer him advice, then fine - do it.  He's going to do what he wants to do.  I'm not the one trying to change him.  I just tell him stuff like "hey, it'd be funny if you did X" or "you could go viral if you did Y, but you might get arrested."  All in good fun.  I'm not trying to get him to change his life - that's up to him.  Despite what some of you might think, as Drone alluded to, he's not unintelligent.  The people who need to "wise up" are the ones who keep thinking they are going to get him to see things their way - especially if they're insulting the man while they're doing it.

Hes one of the most entitled people I've ever encountered, especially for someone on a fixed government stipend. Got bills to pay? Fuck that! Spend the money to buy fun and toys. Then scam money from anyone and everyone. He's got a hard luck story for every minute of the day, about why he can't cover the cost of basics. Yet has a larger stack of Apple products than Steve Jobs. 

I've been around much better scammers than Falkie, in my day.

I could not care less if Falkie spends every penny that I sent him on new equipment.  I didn't stipulate what it was for, and I'm glad to contribute to his efforts.  I have gotten more entertainment from him and this thread than I've had in a long time, and I get a good laugh from it several times a day.  It was also awesome to see him come through with the Noory interview.  Good for him - again, this is what I'm paying for, just like a movie, a concert, a sporting event, or whatever.  If he wants to go get Apple stuff - great.  If he wants to get Cinnabon and Starbucks, more power to him.  I hope he enjoys it, and I hope I get to read some more great posts and watch some more outstanding videos.

And for gods sake, if you fall for Falkies scamming NEVER NEVER go to the Philippines, they will eat you alive.

Hopefully, for your sake, Art will ignore that line if he ever reads it.

* In the early 2000's he was twice fired from his minimum wage jobs for stealing money and goods from the owner.  He reported all of this on the myredbook website, hoping to get sympathy (and handouts).

* He got a job in 2005 working at a movie theatre.  He was REALLY excited about it ("Gosh-wow!"), not because he had a job, but because he thought he could watch movies for free.  He got fired not long after that.  No one knows if it's because he was watching movies on the job, or pinching food from the snack bar.

* He's never held a job that makes more than minimum wage.  About eight years ago, after he lost his job at the theatre, and couldn't find another one.  About six months later, he found a doctor to certify him as "permanently disabled."  He's been living off of disability since then.

* He was reprimanded by a forum moderator for making racist posts.  His posts mostly consist of 20 to 30 anti-Obama cartoons that he's dug up off of the Internet. 

* He's killed at least two of his pet cats.  He sat on one (*squish*) and stepped on the other.  The second one lived for a time, and while it did he solicited donations from other posters to pay for vet bills, which he claimed would cost in excess of $500.  Some openly wondered if the cat ever existed in the first place.

* His hygiene is not good, including his oral health.  He let a tooth rot until it became abscessed and caused a severe sinus infection.  He claimed to have almost died.  And asked for financial help.  All of the difficulty was due to the incompetence of others, though, not him.

* He's famous for his ability to exaggerate.  Like the time that he claimed that he spent 200 hours on the phone with a Dell customer service rep to fix a problem (due to Dell's incompetence and the rep's incompetence).  That's 200 hours, as in five full-time weeks.

Lord, I could go on for hours.  This is just off the top of my head.  The guy is a welfare cheat, an amoral weasel, and is probably mentally retarded.  It's all in the myredbook archives if you care to look it up, and it's only there because he TOLD everyone this stuff.  Imagine what he might have left out because he was too ashamed.

Thanks for sharing.  I don't think I had heard about 90% of that stuff (and don't know if he really actually made all of those claims as listed), but most of it was pretty funny.  That's what I'm talking about - entertainment.  Would I do that stuff personally?  No.  Is it funny to imagine somebody else doing it?  In an admittedly twisted kind of way, yeah, it is.  I laugh at Cartman on South Park too, and he's one of the top two or three characters on the show*. 

(*Note: others might argue that Randy Marsh or Butters are better South Park characters.)

I'm not scamming anyone. Just trying to get through life like everyone else with as little problems as possible and enjoy myself, have some fun and commit the terrible Bellgab hater sin of trying to make myself a few extra dollars to pay my internet bill and other bills.
My sinuses are killing me, Kathy too. We both did too much driving but it was worth it. We had fun, got to meet Noory and gave those WILLING to ALLOW me to bring a smile or chuckle into their lives a few moments of fun and enjoyment.
If that's all I manage to do with my unedited efforts, I'm content with that.
I'm not trying to ignore your suggestions and will go back and print them out once I recover from all this and can read them properly with new glasses. The floaters have now changed to circles and are lessening so that helps.
I do deeply resent being TOLD what to do by people. It's an automatic defense mechanism because of being told to do everything ( and often not in my best interests) by my Mother for years, I guess and when it's done as a seeming DEMAND, I doubly resent it. Taureans HATE being told what to do as if you're clubbing us with it. I know a lot of you are genuinely trying to help and I appreciate it, I really do.
As for the haters and doubters on here, they were and are wrong and their comments an opinions can either go into the circular file or the toilet and flushed, whichever is closer.

I want to thank everyone here who supported me in trying to get me to see Noory and Toomy & for their nice comments about the interview. Next time, I will address some of the issues that Indidn't cover but some brought up in here come off as a demand AND are mean spirited and I don't like that as I tend to root for the underdog, and on this board, Noory is an underdog.
Or unless they are playing my Steelers, Pirates or Penguins, whom I should follow more closely.

I just use that word because I don't care to call people "haters."  I don't think that most people on here sincerely "hate" Falkie, although maybe a few do.  I was trying to use a word to politely describe the people who don't agree with Falkie, and who call him and some of us names.

In all sincerity, Roswells, Art, you are one of the posters who comments I enjoy reading on here.  I get a kick out of most of the people on here, whether we agree or not.

I had interactions with WOMEN on that board. Not for sex but because they were ( and some of them still are ) my friends. Unlike most, I accept what they do and don't put them down for it. I also had dozens of male friends on that board and resent the Feds and the state taking away my ability to be able to contact and interact with them. I was there for the social aspects of the board and did not pay for any sexual encounters even though the haters on that board have implied I did when I did not.
MV used to have a rule against this sort of thing and early on in this thread I was regularly attacked by stalkers who regularly attacked me for everything from my weight, health status, politics & more on that board and followed me to this one.
It's not right of them or her to do that and they know it.

I'm confused as to how a leisurely drive to a nearby town is so mentally and physically draining on you two. I regularly see veterans with both legs blown off who now are using prosthesis finish marathons and never complain once. I see them shopping at the Commissary and PX daily. They don't bitch and moan. They live their lives to the fullest and give back to society. My own husband spent a year in Afghanistan with a torn meniscus and a herniated disk and didn't bother to get them repaired until he got home. He just had a disk in his neck removed and had an artificial one put in last week. He's not complaining. He's working and contributing and thankful to still be able to do so. Yet you two complain about taking a road trip to an event. Kind of puts it all into perspective.

I was one of 3 moderators on a conservative forum and was generally attacked as was the other two mods by crazed hating liberals from the liberal thread who would attack me, jack Ryan and the 3rd mod at every opportunity.
Frequently it had nothing to do with politics and led to vile personal attacks, not just on us but every conservative poster on that board.
