Thumbnails should reflect what is unique about a specific video, spurring interest enough to generate a click.  The Box Fan Network logo should not be a thumbnail at ALL, ever.  It can be displayed as a card in the videos themselves (if Falkie ever learns how to use a video editing software) but it should NEVER EVER be a thumbnail.

This is an Art Bell fan site, so it wouldn't be the proper place to attack Art. If someone did, they'd rightly find themselves in the cornfield. But a few comparisons can be correctly made about Falkie and Art.

Both have the same agenda: "It's designed to make them money"

Art is artful enough to pitch the free aspect of his plan while down playing the subscription income.
He needs to build a sizable base of listeners first and if successful, will work to monetize later.
That's smart business and we all want him to succeed.

Falkie has his plan too. He seriously believes that he is running a Business and it will hopefully generate income someday.

Back to Art's plan. Art is asking Bellgabbers and his FacePals to help him get his show started, Media Bliz, anti-pirates deputies (why would he need this if the show is free) and subscribers. Again that's great, we all want Art back and will gladly give our time and treasury to make it happen.

So in effect, we have Art the talent, that we want back, that is asking us to donate (lie, beg, grift, and tell every poor me detail of his life) to get things going. ie to minimize his start-up risk with our subscriptions.

And then we have Falkie that has his start-up business, that is asking us to donate (lie, beg, grift, and tell every poor me detail of his life) to get his business going.

Take away all of Art's artfulness and Falkie's crudeness and they are both asking us to do same thing for them. The difference being one we want to help and other we don't. And that's the rub.

We all can see that Art's plan has a high chance of success because of his past performance and broadcasting skills. And we can all see, that Falkie's plan, may need a little fine tuning to become successful. So if we all understand that, so why do we fine it necessary to tear Falkie apart and mock him, over and over, when the same fun can be had by all, with encouraging and helping him (donations).
Either way the end results will be the same for Falkie. 
   


           

Art has earned respect. Falkie doesn't even have any for himself. Enough said.

Oh I know. But Falkie wants to brand his channel. If he feels so inclined, it should only be done for the home videos. I personally prefer the unique thumbnail.

Falkie should have one of those transparent logos that popular Youtubers have. Just like the video you posted. Just have it in the corner. That way he can implement his brand in every video without having to compromise his video uniqueness.

To be a sucessful YouTuber, you should build up a buffer of videos (while you're NOT practically wilting) and time-delay them to post once or twice a day at peak YouTube traffic hours.  Releasing 5 new videos in one day and then not releasing any new videos for nearly a week is a poorly designed way to make money.  There should be at least one new video each day, like BEETLE BAILEY in the daily newspaper.

Hello ? I ran around for 3 days at the event, had my feet hurt for two days after that and everything else ached as well and was worn out and broke.
And I broke a florescent light bulb that fell off my fridge and stepped on it.
My hard drive is almost full as I have said several times.
I posted TEN videos in one day and you're complaining about it ?
If I spend money on a new ssd drive so I can have storage capacity, some jerk on here will complain that I am not giving the money to Kathy.
There is NO room to keep videos on here.
And stupid Icloud keeps posting everything to documents and Iphoto and I have to go in and remove the extra files.
There is supposed to be an icon in preferences that allows you to shut off Icloud. It's not there.
But I would not expect anyone here to help me fix that because I am according to some too stupid to know how to use my devices.
I needed a physical break to rest.
So does Kathy.
And cartoonist oftimes do weeks of cartoon in advance so they can take some time off.
They even run old ones when they take a vacation or they have an assistant do the strip.
I don't have any assistants, though I have asked for personal hands on assistance.
Drone has said if he could he would come down here and help.
You will get videos this week and next.
I have in the past gone a week without posting videos and then posted numerous ones at once.
I'll just buy the ssd drive and blu ray player and pay fof the installation and not say a word about it when it happens.
And Kathy will get her money from me as well.
I'm paying the expenses to go to Santa Cruz too.
And she will do at least one video on Saturday, will be seen saying hello to Noory and Tommy and do videos next week.
I am NOT a machine.
I've already said I will do a video on Nepal and certainly one on Baltimore but not here where its 82 degrees and sweat is pouring down my body.
I'm going to be comfortable and I need to be able to see what I am doing. It puts a lot of eye strain on me to look at the Mac screen.
Please be patient.
I know you watch them at work.
I do the videos and it IS work.
I also have further cleaning to do and need to find the receipt for the a/c. Once I get that part I will be comfortable in here but I still would prefer to do them out of here and I am not going to go to Peet;s or Starbucks broke and have no coffee or something. I feel sheepish asking for ice water and not supporting the business, even a big corporate one like SB. I do partake of a local coffee brewer or two but they don't have wi fi and are miles away.

Just click on the video. There IS  a description of the content of every video I post underneath the video as well.
Kathy's next video in part, she has told me, will be about her unhappiness about the " Bellgab assholes " ( her words, not mine ) who continually complain about everything I do no matter how insignificant and are now attacking her as well.
She is royally pissed about it and is tired of it.
