My bad.  I thought it was a grey on one of those retro UFOs, standing in a portal and holding an anal probe.  The Happy Meal box appeared to be a ward to keep him from coming through.

Let's start a new game for an amusement between slow or downtimes.  What's on Falkie's shelf or shelves?  I'll continue.  I see Christmas wrapping paper.  He has an early start on the holiday season.

I don't mean to get personal but he just provides and provides the information.

I want videos, not pictures of hodge-podge.

Give me time. I was up for 21 hours then couldn't get to sleep right away. My wrists are sore from moving stuff and dumping it, so are my feet. Once the room is finished I will do a video of it.
But probably not until next week.
Saving my strength for the Noory interview.

You don't have to be gay to sound British.

But it helps.

That sentence got me laughing too and I couldn't figure out why.

Thanks.

I talked to the program director at the station. Noory will be live on the air from 10-12 and do a meet and greet from 12-3. Will post the particulars later. The interview WILL happen and I just PM'ed MV asking how to set up streaming the event live on my IPad. Will get IPad unlocked Friday and sign up for TMobile as well then.
I think it's time to open my Dr. Scholl's foot massaging bath machine and do a live video review of it. My feet were already sore from walking so much at the Expo as it is. I think I need eventually to get a better pair of walking shoes than the New Balance shoes I usually wear.

do what i did years ago, ask a nurse about walking shoes.  8)

New Balance shoes are actually great walking shoes, and are very comfortable.  I prefer to wear Nikes most of the time, but have 2 pairs of New Balance shoes too because they are so comfortable.  It sounds like maybe you need some orthotics.

Falkie,

Are you going to ask Noory to pay for your glasses before the interview or after?
He has to do it during.  That way we Gabbers can hold Snoory to it.  Forever!

Ask him for some walking shoes too while you're at it.  It was his and Tommy's fault that you had to chase all over that damn expo looking for them, which made your feet hurt worse.

Falkie...get one of those string things that go on the end of your glasses and when you take them off they hang on and around your neck! You can even make one out of paracord, string, yarn...anything!!!!
Yeah!  What are those string thingz called?

Does he have a jar of Mayo lube?

I'm thinking more of Kathy, but having some kind of a job, no matter what it is, would surely help to improve her self-esteem...

For the love of god, didn't you read the post about her being busy?

... When she's [Kathy] not looking for a place, she'll be watching tv...

Please do not tell me that this thread has not allowed you at least one moment of that kind of laughter?

Sure this thread has been fun for me... But it's not like the joy Falkie was having while laughing in the car with Kathy and Patty. Closest thing I can compare with the kind of fun Falkie, Kathy and Patty were have in the car, is when I was about 4 years old and splashing a mud puddle with a stick. Doing it over and over again until covered from head to toe with mud, with not a care in the world. That stick was my rosebud.

I have interviewed higher-powered people than Jorch, and that is exactly how it goes. Often a hurried and clumsy affair where the PR flunkie says you have so many minutes (usually far fewer than 10) and the subject is eyeing the door before you can even get into the meat of your questioning.

Take note of last night's gabcast. Superb interviewing- they put an uneasy subject at ease and everyone wound up settling their differences. And the skill of the interview changed the perception of someone who had previously been viewed by all as a shithead.

Falkie knows what he's doing.  Did you see that interview of 'Dr' Pearl, where all Falkie had to say was 'just talk'?  Mind blowing.

Wait until George fully grasps the concept.  What an epiphany.  No more need for the 8 daily hours of show prep, the trite boring 'how are yew?' arsenal of cue card questions - no, when George Noory fully comprehends the simple brilliance of this groundbreaking minimalist technique of interviewing, he too will begin to simply start his guests off with 'just talk'.

Wise move Falkie... pace yourself, the apartment doesn't have to be cleaned again for another year.

New Balance is the only thing that will fit my feet.

He'd better do it [present the invoice for the glasses] before he presents the EyePad cartoons.

George Noory is very much misunderstood by the Bellgab posters.  He isn't a dumb, lazy, thin-skinned oaf with a grossly inflated self image.  He's actually a very nice guy with a wonderful sense of humor.

He'll sign them and they'll all have a good laugh about it

Interesting... the glasses thingie again. Understand the glasses and you understand the mind of Falkie.

What? Both are usually substandard if not broken?

Paper*Boy-
I would hate to see how awkwardly Noory picked up women. He has no understanding of pacing in conversation.
That is Art's greatest talent, IMO- flow.

It doesn't take him much more than that to get Richard C. Hoagland or Steve Quayle going now.  Give a brief introduction, wind them up, and let them go.  George can then leave the studio for the next 25 minutes or so, and just come back to take us into the breaks.  Easiest shows he ever has to do.

Falkie said "just talk"? Very professional Falkie. I'm surprised this Pearl fella didn't tell you to "just walk"
