I took my Imac to the Apple store and their restoration didn't work and I return it on Sunday & when talking to the manager about re-scheduling he said :

Wrong. Spent the day going through stuff in the living room and hallway and tossing it out.
A friend sent me the WABC clip & I have listened to John Batchelor in the past and don't care for him but while listening to him and Art I stopped the clip and told Kathy who is next to me that Art shows and stories kept you riveted to your radio to the point where you forgot to eat, go to sleep or and where you didn't want to go to the bathroom for fear of missing something.
I thank the friend for the clip.
I spent last night doing further cleaning and making spaghetti until 430 am and heard the tail end of Noory's Ashkasic records show. I was amazed that cats have a Ashkasic records according the guest and at one point George made a joke and laughed at his own joke, something that sounded dumb and something that my late friend Glenn used to do and which were seldom funny.
Art rivets you to the radio or device.
Noory seldom does.
That's the HUGE difference between them.
Art has his audience and George has his and I doubt that Art will knock George off the air, at least in the short run, because its going to take time to ramp up the new show & because there are still people who have NEVER heard of Art Bell, while just a few days ago, I had people notice my shirt and begin talking to me and said they listen to Coast and when I mentioned Art's return there's a blank,look on their face. They have NO idea who he is. Their Coast experience is with Noory.

I said I was amazed that the guest said it as a fact.
Edgar Cayce believed in such records. I have the book on it but have yet to read it. I have 6 new paranormal books I've yet to read sitting on my tv table including the Cayce one.
As for my comment on George, I've only heard one show in the last year that made me want to keep listening and that was the Mexican UFO retrieval show. I did a video on it and said it was an excellent show.
Art had hundreds of shows that had you on the edge of your seat wanting more.
Art has a much different style than Noory.
That does NOT mean its a criticism of George. Some of his guests, like Gerald Celente, I listen to and then go on to other things if the next guest does not interest me.
Some guests I listen to to see what they're going tomsay like RCH & Dr. Doom.
Even Art had guests I did not care for like Terrence MacKenna. On the nights he was on I did not listen to Art.
LMH on Noory goes on and on non stop on Coast and the Numbers Lady is too much to take too.
But I will continue to listen to Coast after I listen to Art. For one thing, there isn't a lot of stuff to listen to at one am if I can't get back to sleep and Noory fills thst niche.
I have about a 100 Noory shows on my Mac I've yet to listen to.
And at least a 100 old AB shows.
Also about 1-200 podcasts to listen to as well.
But one cannot just listen to old shows or podcasts all day or night.
Back to sleep for awhile then more cleaning.
Tomorrow Apple store to see if they get it right this time and fix my Imac.
It won't recognize my admin password and their " fix " did not work. On powerup, I get the small green E=MC2 circle with my name &  password box and nothing works to get me back in for now.
Monday night at 9, I will be listening to Art along with the rest of you.

I am at once fascinated, awed, repulsed, drawn in, saddened, troubled and intrigued by this thread. Oh, the highs…the lows…the twists no one saw coming. It’s like mental crack…I know I should stop reading here but….maybe tomorrow. Today I will take in the vastness (no pun intended) that is Falkie. And also to an extent, Casio.

Were these people not constantly putting themselves and their dirty laundry in the spotlight for everyone else to view, I might feel guilty about my voyeurism, but where else can I see how the other half lives? Where else can I get that sense of schadenfreude that makes me feel so alive?
