Why would you be amazed at anything you'd hear on Coast to Coast AM?  Other than an occasional appearance by the likes of Michio Kaku, Neil deGrasse Tyson or Seth Shostak, the vast majority of C2C guests are a motley collection of frauds, hucksters and crackpots.  Veterinarians who give medical advice, "Doctor" Evelyn Paglini (may she rest in peace), Richard C. Hoagland and his crackpot theories. 

It's a cure for insomnia, nothing more.  It beats listening to the wallpaper fade at 3:00 am but that's about it.
