Thing that I don't quite understand is that people are shooting stuff off in the desert (and elsewhere) all the time. If no evidence of shots 'at house/compound' or if not, later, coupled with apparent calls and trespasser- no big deal. And, if so, and they have "decent idea" of who is behind why not use some civil options (lawsuit) or restraining order? Sure, it can 'escalate' things but that might be a good thing (get the stalker arrested or killed.) Or some sanctions could eliminate the stalker?
