Oh yes, you are still addicted but it is mitigation of bad possible effects. Not a perfect solution or even a good one, but a better one than smoking- maybe for the person- but also for others (no second hand smoke, fires from cigs, etc.)

Yeah , I've found that the most militant anti smokers are ex smokers .
I've never smoked ever but I wouldn't give a fat babies bottom if you lit up right beside me

Kolchak

Did this caller refer to MV as "UV"?

The Snorchlax

I could get used to Mv and Art once a week!!

My friend used Chantix and committed suicide.  It's impossible to prove a causal connection but it clearly changed his personality while he was on it.  Vaping worked like a charm for me.
My buddy told me that he had crazy dreams. Several of which were of stabbing his wife to death. Said it almost like random in a conversation- like yah, I get crazy dreams. Was trying to quit after decades of Copenhagen. Said the "dream" was so real that he woke up in morning and was afraid to look over at wife. He stopped those meds, not sure if he quit nicotine. If they work for some, great, but the way he described I really thought "damn" that sounds even more dangerous.

I was never a smoker, but I'm obese, so I took up vaping to curb my appetite.  I started nicotine-free, then stepped up the nicotine concentration & frequency over the course of months until it finally started to work pretty well.  Never felt anything like "hooked", had to remind myself to vape.  But then I got atrial fibrillation, and since there's a little indication in the literature that high doses of nicotine contribute to A fib, I quit.

This is what happens when MV doesn't listen to Hoagland's show.

I got on to ask Art about the difference from us who helped on the blitz versus the trolls...he said there was a difference...there were times I didn't feel that from the FaceBook posts from Art...but he seemed sincere...I believe him...

Behrringer mixers are so so. You're right about the dust MV. Find an old TAPCO. Those bastards can take the abuse. Mine had 25 years of  deep fryer grease from a kitchen gumming it up and it still worked. I did clean it up after I tested it though.  That took a while. :)

I think Art was born without a filter and says whatever he is feeling before thinking it through.

Yep - my friend said the same thing before he checked out, and it made him act kinda manic.  Psychoactive chemicals that work through mechanisms they don't understand...it amazes me that can even be legal.

Nicotine isn't a big deal.  The ban on vaping indoors is fucking retarded.  Nicotine can be hard on the arteries for the vaper, but the effect is similar to caffeine and harmless to those around you.  Everything turns into a witch hunt in this idiotic society.

l love this stalker caller.  What a waste to keep him on.

LOL Classic show! RCH stalker talking to ART! LOL

Hautex

Maybe Art should have specials from time to time so the folks that have bigtime disclosure info could be heard... Truly miss that aspect of the show

albrecht

Dang, dumped the RCH stalker too early!

Yes.  To hell with MITD.  Art should just be on with MV every so often.  Maybe with a paranormal guest.

Yeah it's a stimulant.  And people tend to take more nicotine in when they vape than with cigarettes, because there's an MAO inhibitor in cigarette smoke that intensifies nicotine's effect and duration.  Sorry to hear about the Afib, nicotine is an effective appetite suppressant.  There must be another kind that's not a stimulant.
