It was absolutely mind blowing to find out that according to Heather, she had the power to oust Peter.

Yes and most of the interesting things she said were in reaction to Bateman, who put her on the spot. If not for him, the show would have been a frustrating mess to listen to. There's being polite and diplomatic and then there's just plain sucking up (for whatever reason). That line got crossed several times, but never for too long.

I'm so bored with all of this and it's no longer funny. I thought it'd be a funny episode but it was blah.

Someone make me laugh. I'm losing my faith in Bellgab being a source of comedy and good times.
Ok.  So, Sandra, how many batteries does the light sabre take, is the size adjustable, and does it come in blue?

But the caller yelling at his dog was Hoag-worthy.

That's what made it so awesome lol

This is awesome!  We're arguing about a replacement host of a radio show vs a radio host having a fight on a podcast about another guy who's no longer on the air.  Bravo.
This was fucking funny. Bravo!  ;D

They all held it together well. I wouldn't say without Bateman it would have been a mess. Gravity, Starr and Showroom Dummy held the show together well. I hear what you're saying, Bateman did add a lot to making it a good show.

Lol the only place to go from here is to have a podcast about a thread.  Just pick a random one and riff on it for a couple of hours.

I could do that. Lol.
Thread Cast? Gravity you in? Lol and of course Auslandia.

Art is supporting the show (MiTD) out of his own pocket. It's the only reason MiTD is still running. It won't be long until Amateur Hour in The Desert listeners drop below number of falkie2013 subscribers.

GravitySucks no one gives a shit if you have a caller on ignore on bellgab forums. The host of Gabcast should of stood up for the caller instead of letting douche bag Gravity talk down to the other caller.
Plenty of BellGabbers not only give a shit, but respect Gravity and his insight.

If not a frustrating mess, how about just frustrating? Mudking brought up many of the subjects needing discussion, as did a few of the callers. But without the push given by Bateman, Heather would have just floated down the river on her tube drinking a Margherita. And there would have been a couple of volunteers willing to "peel me a grape, Beulah."

That's why I'm giving Bateman credit for calling in. He made it a much more listenable podcast.

Showroom Dummy you were a welcome addition to the cast and I hope we hear more from you in the future.  GravitySucks & starrmtn001 did a great job on the show as well.

Could we have done things differently? Sure. Did we all give our unique perspectives knowing the listeners could be throwing shade at us after the fact? Yep
Thank you. ;)

Show notes found in the thread.  Plus we could just prank call random
Skype users and have them discuss topics with us with no warning.

Thank you for your service in World War II.

When I started they were 50 cents at the 7/11 across from the high school but to save a nickel we always walked down to the market and paid 45 cents.

I'm sorry you found it frustrating -it can be frustrating co hosting a show when people are debating each other live without a net  and   over the phone where you can't see anyone  and have to balance that act
but that being said  you need to do it  co host  its  still a lot of fun to do  and i think you may enjoy it   !

More people would be able to volunteer if you and starr didn't volunteer 3 seconds after mv posts the show announcement.

This is MV's site and his show, he makes the rules, and has done a great of of it.

Having said that, one suggestion I'd make is to limit the guest hosts to something like twice every six months or so, just to get more of a variety of posters hosting.  Or at least not volunteer until, say, 24 hours have gone by after a new show has been announced.

Another suggestion is to not immediately answer the phone any time it happens to ring, too often it interrupts the flow of the conversation.

If you go read the announcement, Curtis asked for volunteers to do one the next day. Usually there is 2-3 days notice. He wanted to test his new board set up. All I did was try to support him by saying that if he couldn't get volunteers, then I would help out. MV told me I was complicating matters.  The I should say I was in or out. So I said in. ALL of that was before the crap blew up between Bateman and (Redacted).

It was almost 2 hours before Showroom Dummy became the third volunteer. There was plenty of time for someone else to volunteer, and I even offered to remove myself to allow Cheftist and one other person to cohost if they desired. They chose not to.

I didn't say it was frustrating. I said it would have been frustrating if not for Bateman. It's fortunate that he called in. If he hadn't, it would have been mostly on you (CORRECTION: on Mudking) to ask Heather the hard questions and to pursue them when she gave the kind of answers she did.

I would hope you (CORRECTION: Mudking) would have done that (MV would, I think) but I'm not so sure he would have, particularly without any support on that front from his co-hosts. So, praise Bateman! (First time I've heard him.)

Nah... We had show notes. It would have been a different show if Bateman didn't call in. Neither of them were planned calls. That was their own doing.
