Actually, none of us win, including the listeners, Keith and others who put so much hard work into the network and the other people who have shows on the network. In terms of whom sounded more credible, it was Steve. I could easily imagine someone losing it when they found out that they were being replaced and then taking it out on a potential replacement. The people she should have been yelling at are Art and also Keith, if he was being shady about looking for replacements behind her back. Keith was the one who made it public knowledge in his "update" most recently that he had wanted Howard Hughes to sit in Art's chair. So when Steve made mention of it here at BG, we already knew from Keith's update that replacements were being sought. I am sure Howard and Steve were not the only 2 on the short list.

You win the Nobel Peace Prize for even-handedness and non-partiality. What I witnessed was a lose-lose-lose for Art-Heather-MITD. This wasn't damage control, diplomacy or PR, it was a one-woman wrecking crew. Your reduction of all bad behavior to trivialities and elevation of all questionable characters to equally fine people, in this case, does a disservice to everyone. You might rethink your show summary before the show archive goes online in the morning and people can listen for themselves.

So when Steve made mention of it here at BG, we already knew from Keith's update that replacements were being sought. I am sure Howard and Steve were not the only 2 on the short list.

Now, my question is...  Was HW pissed that a replacement (any replacement) was being sought or was it just Steve that she was not happy about?

My take is this...  If she's pissed about Howard Hughes being the apple of Keith's eye, then we have someone who's delusional beyond words. 

Hell, I've been replaced in bands by much better musicians and I've been fine with it...  Until I learn they're still performing my songs and not paying me, but that's another story
