Hoagland is the Fort Rock of Coast to Coast.  He believes he's serving some deep-rooted need by spinning endless bullshit stories.

He's been such a pain in the ass to NASA I'm surprised he hasn't disappeared under mysterious circumstances.

I doubt 'they' will want to kill the golden goose. It must make some of the managers blush though.  According to Hoagland NASA have been responsible for and privy to many more wondrous events and achievements than they should be; which if believed would secure ten times the funding they really receive.

Conspiracy theory alert!!! RCH really does work for NASA, and so does Mike 'Turkish bath' Bara. They're just the comical diversion while 'they' can do the really nefarious work.  :) ..The Laural and Hardy of the pseudo science world. The purists will point out that L & H were true geniuses at their craft and Hoagland and Bara are total crap. But that's just nit picking.

Hoaxster is so delusional and shameless, he embarrasses politicians.

Well, he would if the still retained enough humanity to be capable of embarrassment...

Episode 68 of my podcast is out:  Expat in Hoaglandia: A Fantasia of NASA Conspiracies.  I enjoyed this episode, I hope you do, too.  Let me know if you think anything we discuss deserves its own episode (I'm thinking maybe one on designing experiments, deconstructing Hoagland's accutron stuff).

Before I listen, can I at least be assured you're going to deliver a hyperdimensional kick to his rear?  ;D

Well..maybe one. ;)

Expat makes a very good stab at a Yorkshire accent; but it isn't mine!  ;D

Ok, I listened to the podcast which was excellent. No spoilers, but  ;D ! Good work, astroguy and expat!

You can share/discuss.  What I meant was that *I* wasn't going to give any spoilers.  :-X

What I enjoyed the most about the podcast astroguy and expat did was the way they deconstructed Hoagland's conspiracy talking points, one by one, calmly and rationally. Although, astroguy, I think I heard you stifling more than one laugh in the background whenever expat brought up another of Hoagland's loonier proposals.  ;D

And it was gratifying to hear him get that hyperdimensional kick to the rear he deserved for this Accutron/tuning fork watch which, to him, is the greatest source of physics knowledge of the twentieth century. Phooey.

Credit to astroguy for having shaped the whole hour, for being well prepared, and for making sure I was well prepared too.

This was really fun, well done guys! I was hoping it would be expat vs Hoagland, but I guess you can't get Hoagie on your show without a ridiculous amount of money/devoting time to advertising his bullshit.

Good grief, watching that video was like "Friday Night Open Lines"  with pictures.  All that's missing is,  Fanny from Alabama,  a Truck Driver that hasn't slept for 5 days and some drunk guy from Dayton- Ohio.  ???

LOL Fanny from Alabama. Sweet.

I'm afraid I damaged my bedside radio again last night. Poor little radio, sorry -- I guess it's not your fault.

It was when Noory announced the Mars-habitable news, then brought RCH on with the remark "Why don't you just say 'I told you so'?"

"NO GEORGE YOU DUNDERHEAD," I screamed at the radio, 'THAT'S NOT WHAT HE FUCKING SAID." On 1st December 2012 he very clearly stated that he had confirmed that there are collapsed apartment blocks at Shaler. IT'S NOT FUCKING TRUE, GEORGE. As recently as 2nd March Hoagland accused NASA of staging a "convenient" computer failure SO THEY COULD AVOID ANNOUNCING THE VERY DATA THEY JUST ANNOUNCED. HE WAS FUCKING WRONG AGAIN, GEORGE.

Sorry. I get mad sometimes like anyone else.

I enjoy an angry Expat personally.

It is unfortunate that if Hoagland gets angry on air it does nothing to his credibility and maybe increases it (especially in George's eyes) but if Expat and Astroguy got angry on air I bet it would be used against them.

I'm wondering when RCH is going to comment on these Axe "Nothing Beats an Astronaut" Ads?

Who in his right mind believes this crap? /rhetorical question. It's stuff like that, the idea of a Lefrak City on Mars, complete with bodegas and playground swings, that leaves me floored at just how gullible the C2C audience is. I can't help but think that Hoagland comes up with more and more outrageous ideas just to get caught, like the serial killer that leaves a clue at the crime scene, but the new audience is so profoundly clueless that they'll believe anything, including Lefrak City on Mars.

It would be a great Golden Age of Science Fiction story, but Jebus, whatever happened to critical thinking skills? No one need answer. Unfortunately, PT Barnum already answered that a century ago.

Doctors haven't yet had an opportunity to confirm that Pragmier. However, I'd like (purely for curiosity's sake) to read any papers of Rich's psychological make up, written by a selection of independent psychologists and psychiatrists.  ;)

I think this guy tried to sell me insurance last week, I hid in the trunk of my car.

I'm shocked Hoagland hasn't gone on C2C yet and suggested there's some kind of NASA conspiracy connected to those AXE ads with the Astronaut in them. Or any of the other commercials that have astronauts in spacesuits in them that have shown up on TV lately.

Oh give him time; he's working on how he can weave it into yet another crack pot theory right now. Extra points if he can tie in torsion physics and artifacts on Mars, the Moon and hidden meanings in Snicker bars.

George Drooly

Average age of those who use AXE products? 19.5 years!

Last night's phone-in from Mauna Kea was a mini-classic. "Unmistakable pulses from HAARP."  "This physics is the basis of free energy, anti-gravity, and it will change the world."

HE'S LOOKING AT VARIATIONS IN THE FREQUENCY OF A TUNING FORK IN A 40 YEAR OLD WRISTWATCH!!!

WHAT UTTER, UNMITIGATED, SHAMELESS BOLLOCKS!!!!!

He's holding back on expressing his real opinions..You noticed that too?

I am SO tired of hearing Richard Hoagland. Noory seems to use him as his security blanket when he can't intellectually discuss certain topics presented by his guests. Richard is George's Crutch!
