Americans always threaten to move to Canada whenever a right winger is elected president.

Who wouldn't want to such a cutie to be their leader?

I don't.

You are right about that.  It's grueling and takes forever.

But I have a heart for those looking to escape crushing poverty and a dead end existence by risking their lives.  I've met many a Central American who braved all kinds of ridiculous perils just to be dumped out of an 18 wheeler in the middle of a US city with no money & no contacts.  If the Phillipines were located directly across one of our borders I suspect you'd find a lot of Phillipinos swimming across the Rio Grande too.  It's just what people with no future do.  Can't blame them for trying in my opinion.

Don't blame me for wanting them deported.

Having worked in the industry for almost 20 years in both on air and on the sales side, I thought about tossing my hat in the ring after reading the post just for shits and giggles.
Dont be a tease.

Bobsledding though.

Yeah, you can say that now. The US has two tracks. The Canadians used to have to come to Lake Placid.

And we still have the Stanley Cup.

I love canada.

Michigan tradition is to go to Windsor on your 19th birthday (at least it was back when that was the drinking age) and buy 222s or whatever those codine pills were called that were OTC.

Good times in canada

Is Cheetah's still in business over in Windsor?    I moved away from the D long ago..........

You're a former service member, right?

No, but spent 30 plus years in DoD as an engineer, a good chunk of it in "special projects". ;)

hi, kok!

How is 8th grade going? Getting good grades I hope?

Way past 8th grade.

How do you feel that your own Canadian government is allowing Muslim men to bring their child (10-12 year)brides into Canada and your tax paying dollars paying for muslim pedophiles to rape their captive child brides?

Or how dude weed is building mosques for your new muslim immigrants using tax payer dollars?

Wow man, idk- My last time up there was probably close to 20 years ago.

I'm in the A2 area now by U of M and i'm way over 21, stopped doing ecstacy and will see a doctor if I need codene lolz- So no reason to get up there anymore.

Oh whered you grow up? I started in River Rouge/Ecorse area and slowly we  moved towards Woodhaven/Brownstown until we ditched downriver entirely when I was in HS... Still know a ton of people out that way.

I'm on the fence (or wall) on this issue.  On one hand the idea that someone legitimately wanting to live their life in a better place sounds legit to me.  I'm thankful I wasn't born in some shithole country like Liberia or Honduras or something so I don't have to deal with that.  On the other hand, it can be a drag on the economy & goverment resources.  I dunno really but my gut is telling me that the humanitarian thing to do is to figure out a way to deal with it because even a big fucking wall with a moat and sharks with friggin lasers isn't gonna stop illegal immigration.  It's not a war that can be won just like the war on drugs. And a hell of a lot safer than going down to Ol' Mex as a right of passage, even back then. Now? Take out a life-insurance and kidnapping policy.

I agree with you there.  However, corporations should not be hiring them.  I blame the corporations first as they enable illegal immigration to continue.  This crap needs to be stopped and rules need to be followed.

There are low blows and there are really low blows. Might be no Canadian team to even make playoffs last I looked.

Well, not really extra dimensional, but certainly some mutants near China Lake.  Cousins should not marry.

I saw that. Quite appropriate.

Not for me, it's charter schools on top and Ford at the bottom. I just bought a Ford and don't need another.  No idea why charter schools is there.

And certain Churches and government agencies/politicians. All should face criminal and civil penalties for harboring and encouraging the illegals. And no government documents in other languages, aside from some Indian languages (feather, not dot) and pre-Federal cultures existing in some states that existed ('Cajun,' Mennonites, and so forth etc.) Just as things like Spanish land-grants etc super-cede, in some cases, our laws.

Sweet brother.

Can a canadian confirm todays drinking age up there? I wonder  if that shit still even goes on with borders requiring passports and shit now- or whatever crazy security measures.

It used to be so easy to just drive in- Wasnt even like you left the US. Now its like the DMZ- Wonder if thats affected the Michigan 19th birthday tradition or not.
