That would be hilarious indeed. Now to think of a a name. How about, "Friday night phone line fights". (Okay, that's a pretty horrible name actually). ;)
Shorten it to Friday Phone Fights.

I wonder if Art will get some 'live reports,' experts, etc with regard to this latest Muslim attack in France. I recall some great shows with local reporters, experts, callers, speculators, etc after OKC. It wasn't 'fun' radio but was good and memorable radio.

Too late for Halloween, but "Fright Club" would've been a good name.

Ok, this now looks like it is 911
for Paris. We will indeed at the very least have a Terrorism expert at the top of the show as well as John Bachelor from NY in the first hour followed by open lines on this or any topic.

I didn't get a PM either.  Wat am I?  Chopped liver?
You and I, buddie.  You and I.  We don't rate.  I wonder if the perp selected certain folks on purpose?  Ha, maybe they are all Hubrids?   Maybe it was the demon/deity, Prince?

I think we've heard enough from terrorism "experts" over the years.

We've heard much recently about asking the "Hard Questions".  I'd rather he have a government official from somewhere like France or Germany or the UK who supports the policy of admitting millions of these people into their countries, and who can explain why those governments are continuing to tolerate the so-called "no go" Muslim enclaves in their cities that police, fire, and emergency personnel are afraid to enter.  Or maybe someone from the Obama Administration to explain their policy of admitting 100,000 Syrian "refugees" over the next year, and exactly how that is going to benefit our country.

Wow! That would be epic but I doubt any of the accommodation experts would come to talk at this point.

I think the president wants us to feel France's pain.  If so, he's certainly going about it the right way.

I'm eager to hear Art's take on this tragedy.  We all know that Art loves Paris and has visited there a number of times.  Terrorism experts are ok to listen to I guess but I want to see things through Art's eyes.

I just want to forget about what happen in Paris for a few hours. I am already really broken up about it and just want a chance to escape for 3 hours. But I know it'll dominate open lines tonight. Not looking forward to the terrorism "expert" that'll just create more fear or share their toxic opinions. I don't want to hear political debates on the subject. I just want 3 hours of escape.

this.
It's incredibly depressing.  If I wanted to dwell on it and hear so-called experts, I'd turn it to cnn or any of the hundred stations showing loops of the same footage. I probably won't be listening to Art tonight. Armchair terrorism experts calling in to voice their opinions add nothing to the situation. I predict several callers will call it a false flag operation, and the last thing people need to hear right now are conspiracy dorks on the radio.

I suggest all wanting to "forget" turn into ESPN and listen to Bill Walsh, who seems either drunk, high, or demented, talking about these Chinese college tour basketball games. Amazing. Comedy.

Fri Nov 13 â€" Rick Hahn / John Batchelor â€" Terror in Paris

http://artbell.com/fri-nov-13-rick-hahn-john-batchelor-terror-in-paris/

QuoteArt discusses with Rick and John the events in Paris and what this means for us.

Richard S. Hahn is President of R. Hahn & Company, Inc. a security consulting and investigative company specializing in counter-terrorism and homeland security. Mr. Hahn also works as an instructor and lecturer for various U.S. Government agencies including the U.S. Department of State. Mr. Hahn retired from the FBI after a distinguished career that spanned 32 years. As an Agent he specialized in investigations of domestic and international terrorist organizations, dating to the first terrorist activities in this country.

On September 12, 2001, the day after the fall of the Twin Towers, WABC-AM in New York City recruited John Batchelor to go on the air until Osama bin Laden was either killed or captured. John has been on ever since, offering insightful commentary on the war on terrorism, politics, the presidency, national and global economies, and defending our civilization. His personal interest in American history and wars from Revolutionary through today’s Long War, has generated remarkable coverage of jihadism as it enters the Western vocabulary.

I tend to agree.  But I can see why Art wants to cover this re the global implications.  I just hope he's  able to keep it focused.  I'm not interested in getting sidetracked into the contentious two-ring American political circus.

It is only two-ring because it is a circus; interestingly many a circus used to have three rings, plus the side-shows and other antics. Sad. The devolution of a country.

Time for the Saturday post.

Tonight starting at 8PM Central until Midnight Central ( Thats 6 to 10pm Pacific for you guys in Rio Linda ) on http://ksyl.com is: Art Bell: Somewhere in Time. Where Art returns to July 5, 1996, to talk to a man who says he has detailed secret knowledge about the background of Art's partsâ€"a piece of metal that apparently came from the 1947 UFO crash in Roswell, NM.

http://ksyl.com has a live stream listed on their page and they can also be found on Tune-in.
If you are local to NW Louisiana or if the propagation is right, you can hear them on 970AM,
I do not know if the show is in the archive. Jazmunda might have the info on that. However from past info, these may be the "new" classics and may not be in the archive.

For those of you with a bent for nostalgia, from 6pm to 8pm Central, ksyl plays When Radio Was, with old radio shows from the time when "Radio was King!"

Also go to Youtube and "like" all the videos! Help us trend! http://youtube.com/artbell51

Good Somewhere In Time so far tonight, but I have become spoiled by the low amount of commercials during MITD. The amount of commercials on the C2C affiliate is annoying.

I just heard Art give a flower commercial! Sounded just as good as it did what? 20 years ago? Gave out the 1-800 number and everything--I wonder if that's just a "freebie."
