i'm starting to wonder if leo made up everything about the offer in a bid to get something for himself, because where would they fit him in on c2c?  the show is already 120% commercial content, with a 6 minute network newscast at the top of each hour.  the only possible explanation is that 1) leo lied or 2) they really did make him an offer, but it was totally phony and only intended to mess things up inside artbell inc..

Or could be a combination of both.. In my business, Banking, I get to meet with all types of people and hear lots of back stories also a friend is a major talent in the Chicago market.
What Leo is doing isn't uncommon. They get a gig with a major talent and begin to believe, that they are indispensable to the show's success.

The 'Reality' of their worth, usually slaps them in the face during contract negotiations.

Agreed no one cares about a silly newscast segment. People subscribe for art bell. If anything people will tune in to hear the drama. Leo Ashcraft is very replaceable for Art.

Rhodesian Ridgeback and a Poodle, standard or mini but not the toys. Call me crazy but poodles are one of the smartest dogs, and don't shed, and Ridgebacks are indefatigable and loyal. If I lived in a more cooler clime I would have larger breeds. Love Great Pyrennes, etc but I think almost animal abuse to have such breeds here with the heat.

Alright, Art, for the love of god, get yourself an attorney who can handle your future contracts.  You need iron clad shit that will protect you from people releasing any proprietary data about your business.   I have said it before and I will say it again, you are a great radio host, but a terrible business man.   Seriously, get a lawyer who can  manage your team, and that will do your bidding for you - keep everything hush hush and on the up and up and just worry only about doing the show which you love.     Any attorneys or business owners on this board will tell you to do the same.   Enough is enough already.   The only reason this drama stuff happens is because you're allowing it to happen.  I would hope at your age and with all the crap you've been through with Premier and the non compete with Sirius that you would have figured this out by now.   It's your show, you are the king, put your foot down and stamp it all out.
