I sent a message to my local station in hope that they will finally dump Dave because they are dumping Rush Limbaugh for bad ratings, and preempting Dave's show on the Friday, Saturday, and Sundays for the same. So it isn't far off.

I miss phones with wires.  A couple weeks ago, I had the opportunity to speak on a landline phone (the kind you could potentially use as a weapon because it's big and dumb) to another person using a land line phone.  After years of atrocious mobile calls, I'd forgotten how great that sounds.

Thanks for the heads up... At our home we still have a fax line. I completely forgot that I can plug a line line phone into it.  Now if I only had someone to call, to test out my land line phone.

Well I can't think of any reason to say no, of course this is not what I thought would happen and we are not going to change anything at all because we are being picked up by Radio stations and the music is covered by their own license so there is nothing to lose from that point of view.

I think they will be pleasantly surprised by what we are going to do.

I live near a large city, it could be fun on Art's first night's broadcast to go to a live Art event sponsored by a Bar? Hmmm maybe not, wouldn't work for Radio? What would we do, sheesh each other to be quiet so we can hear better.

I want to abolish clocks! Fine for trains, planes, etc schedules for safety concerns. Otherwise get rid of them. Work should be done until the job is finished well and good. You should eat when your hungry, not based on a time. It is dark- go to sleep (or in a some weeks turn on Art Bell.) It is light- wake up and go to work. At minimum abolish clocks, in items and appliances for which they aren't necessary. One blackout or spike means, now, you have to reset so much crap around the house. Why does even my microwave and oven (!!) need to know the current time or greet me with a "welcome to your microwave" flashing message because a storm knocked out power??

Unless i missed something. The only thing thats going to be dissapointing about MITD is that its only going to be 3 hours :-(

Its better then no hours dont get me wrong but the 5 hour days were great. Especially with guests like the GIS.

Arts back better not even think about 5 hrs. 3 is sufficient as there are limited breaks. I think it's more than enough time. Probably equivalent to 4 hrs in c2c if you factor in lost time to breaks.
