what you need to understand is that each "secret message" or "clue" or whatever has been a joke, almost every single time.  during one of these instances, i instructed users to send me a private message so they could be informed of the "secret plan" laid out in code by art.  well, anyone who bothered to send me a private message quickly noticed my account is not capable of receiving private messages, so the joke was assumed to be established in that way.  there were other angles to the whole gag, but you get the point....

...but, all of that aside, i just want to summarize with this:  every "secret" message referred to by art or anyone else has just been a gag (as far as i can recall).  nobody has been left out of anything.  neither i nor anyone else knows anything that the rest of you don't know.

I, too, am waiting with batemans breath for a final GO on the new show, so I may overreact a bit if I feel like I am missing some information that might mean some concrete, good news for the future of late-night talk radio.

I can't imagine the contract troubles are over music right. After all, that should be the partner-company's problem, even if the music industry changes usage rights next year.
So my top picks are:
A non-compete in the contract, or revenue sharing disagreements.

I don't even get to hear the music, since I listen mostly to the MP3s of the show which unfortunately don't include it. I can't listen live, since that would start at 5 or 6am in the morning for me.

I like that show, it's actually better than C2C, even though the host is obviously talking a lot of garbage, at least it doesn't feel so scripted like Coast does. When I listen to Coast 2 Coast, it feels like somebody is reading from a teleprompter, and the guests mostly suck, because they invite the same old crazies like in the 90's or new incarnations of them.

The live show will be free, but because we are doing it ourselves we will be depending on people buying membership for 5 bucks a Month which gives you the Podcast and Wormhole and so forth. If they don't we won't get very far because we pay music, Bandwidth, Producer Etc.

We could have signed with a Partner BUT they wanted to put us in a pay wall with other stuff and the price would have been at least double with all kinds of restrictions so we think we will put up the money ourselves and roll the dice. It's a gamble but so is life.

Same here. I thought the reason for all of this was because doing it all independently with music would be too huge a barrier. If the music is now taken care of, might as well try the indie route. People will pay if the incentive is there.
