Having said that, Art if you read this, please for the love of all that's holy, have another antichrist call in night. It's been waaaaaay too long.

You should dedicate that show to the late Dr. Evelyn Paglini, Art...

This was CTC's dedication to her:
Evelyn Paglini RIP March 31, 2014
   Evelyn Paglini RIP
Dr. Evelyn Paglini, beloved long-time Coast to Coast AM guest, has passed away. She was well respected as one of the leading authorities on the occult and the supernatural in the United States. She died of heart failure on Saturday 3/29/14 in Los Angeles. Arrangements will be limited to immediate family. We will be paying tribute to the late Dr. Paglini this Friday night on the radio show, as well as with these two free audio clips: Earth Changes/ Spells & Curses.

Arts special subject line made for some of the best shows.

A "cursed" line would be fun.  A line for those who have been cursed.   :D

My #1 guest to have back would be Mitchell, the Astronaut.

There is no end to type of interesting lines he could open. Even bringing the same subjects back a couple times a year always brings new and different callers.

I agree. 95 was a great year for that.

Then what you are saying is that you are unqualified to debate him.

No shame in admitting someone knows more about a certain topic than you.

I'm assuming you either did not read the link about the Gish Gallop, or you chose to ignore it.  I have no problem admitting that I have no knowledge to debate Richard on the history of NASA.  I will debate him on his scientific claims.  Any of them.  History, not so much.  The only person who is an expert in all of Richard's mythology is himself.  I am not going to participate in something where the other person has free rein to bring up any little tidbit of work he's done in the past four decades that don't relate to the topic at hand and that no one can possibly determine the accuracy of.

That's fine, I stand by what I said.

No insult intended, I couldn't debate someone on nuclear physics either, but I wouldn't accuse the person of being underhanded because he had knowledge I didn't.

Anyone remember when Gnoory opened up that burnt by hot food line? It was mostly pizza related.

I would accuse them of being underhanded if their only proof was hearsay evidence.

Richard C. has put decades into building up a fiction.  No one who who has actually pursued a career in science would waste their lives educating themselves in his particular brand of scienciness.  Therefore anyone qualified to debate him still wouldn't be qualified to debate him if that meant understanding every facet of his fiction.  For example, Astoguy could no doubt point out where all of Richard's science was wrong, but if Richard pulled out a picture of some 'artifact' he just discoverd on Mars, Astroguy might only be able to speculate on what he thought caused the artifact without having had some time to examine it.

(sorry if that's a bad example)

I get the problems in debating a non provable topic, but you can't change the rules to your favor.  There is no proof one way or another.

Yes, so much yes to this Art. And more special hotlines like it. Anyone remember the show with people who had made a deal with devil, and also the Area 51 hotline is my all time favorite show. Also, what happened to Patsy AKA Harlot, I am sure others are curious about that as well! Long live Art Bell!

Harlot! Yeah. That lady had me mesmerized, but it was chilling when she said she made sure her kid would be going to hell too. Holy crap, that was one of the most memorable moments on any of Art's shows. Chilling.

Thanks for that info.  It was very informative.  I still don't know what exactly convinced Art that she was legit.  Her predictions were so vague, even if they came to pass, I would not have been very impressed.

I suspect there's more out there, if you care to dig.  ;) I have enjoyed Art's show and I understand he had to get the guest that were available to him. I'll have to revisit the show with Art if I can find it. I do remember her on C2C with George and I was put off when the two of them would talk about cursing people. George really got off on it. Most people that I know who follow these type of traditions DON'T curse people. It's an ugly mindset to live with and spread to others. Never cared for her after that.

Now, Harlot- (thank you for the reminder Unscreened Caller and ponyboysunset! )- she was really interesting in a morbid sort of way. I remember listening to Art interview her and she was disturbing! At least she wasn't pretending to be anything other than the most evil woman in the world!  ;D

I seem to recall Malachi Martin confirmed to Art that this was possible in one of his later interviews (I recall that Art asked him specifically about this and want to say even referenced Harlot's comment regarding ensuring her child would go to hell also.) Creepy stuff.

ksm32

Harlot. Find and bring back Harlot.  And find the closest thing to Father Martin as possible.
