Art Bell

American cats hunt rats, in the Philippines, the cats merely watch the rats for entertainment.  So my girl tells me.  She says the rats in her neighborhood are bigger than many of the cats.  It's hard to get good help these days!

See?  Get an American Shorthair, and you've got a loyal hunter.

If anyone is taking me seriously on this, you're taking life too seriously.  No one has tied up Art in his basement and taken over his computer.  I saw him today.  He said everything is cool.   ;D

So, what happens if this Jimmy Church gig is NOT a one-time thing?  What happens if the rodents at Premrat like Jimmy Church and use him from time to time?  Two times.  Three times.  Four times.   Would the premrat rodents give Jimmy Church his own coasttocoastam.com e-mail address if they weren't considering using him more than once?

Art could have just given C2CAM the perfect ammunition against him with his little tantrum and the "everything's ok now it's just a one night gig" comment. All C2CAM have to do to piss Art off and have him quit again is to offer Jimmy a more regular gig and forbid him to mention DMRN. It's their show, their rules and Jimmy's their bitch now.

A few thoughts...

1. I think the "one time thing" is bullshit. Unless Church has a guarantee that something big is in store, he could totally turn around and screw DMRN if Coast kept calling. He's been sketchy before. Remember that with Art's track record, ain't no guarantees anyway.

2. I agree that the style of Art's post reads a bit...different. However, I won't discount the possibility that he dictated it to a family member. Him and Keith go back a ways. Maybe he held some value in that relationship and realized that life is too short. Or Keith called him begging.

3. It's waaaaay to early to take any of this at face value. July is still some time away. And Jimmy's Sunday Coast debut is...tomorrow.

4. George Noory still sucks.

Good points all.  Art could have been hurting too much to type and so he dictated that FB post to his wife and she added the exclamation marks.

Also, Jimmy Church getting a Coast to Coast AM email address for a one time guest host gig is way suspicious.  Bet my panties that he becomes the regular Sunday night host, with Knapp doing maybe one Sunday a month.  He's likely keeping that to himself for now, but as soon as that's out watch for Keith to drop Jummy Church from the DMRN.

I was wearing a black t-shirt with giant white GNS on it.  Art asked me if it stands for George Noory Sucks.  I nodded, we both laughed until a black helicopter picked him up, and he flew away.

Nope not just me.

New show has been cut from 9pm - 1am to 9pm - 12am.

He is 70 years old.  3 hours is a long time to keep sharp at that age:  brain cells age too, even Art's.  There is probably less possibility of him getting burnt out on doing the show, too, if he only does 3 hours.  So I am okay with this.

I'm not complaining. I'd take anything over nothing.

artbell.com still appears to be  down.

It was back up for me yesterday but is down again now.

Perhaps it is wirelessly connected to Art's mood ring.

EDIT: When I connect over 4G I can see it but when I'm using my home internet it is still pointing to the parked site. Perhaps the site hasn't propagated to my ISP yet.

;D  However, if that were true, the site would be down most of the time.

I wouldn't know as I rarely visit the site since it is now just the Keith Rowland paranormal news portal featuring few day old paranormal news that I have already seen from a variety of sources.

If Art used the site as a blog or as a communication hub tool I would visit everyday.

The site is up for me, I listened to the "John Titor 2" call this afternoon.  Seems to be operational.

It's back up and somebody is proudly displaying what he believes is his new Art Bell tattoo.  I wonder if anyone will have the heart to tell him it's really one of Nicaraguan president, Daniel Ortega, in his younger days.

Good looking out, popple, but I'm sure it was Art.  Before he left, he gave me a bottle of Pizza Punch.  I asked, "How old is this?  There's dust all over this bottle."
Art said, "Don't worry about it, Pizza Punch gets better with age.  Thank you for Thunderdrums, I blast it into the High Desert every night.  Long live delicious hot pizza, and the hot air!"  That's when he jumped in the helicopter, and flew away.

Who else would do that?  It had to be Art Bell.   8)

laserjock

Ah, now we've got our new catch phrase:  "It HAD to be Art Bell!"  It could be our battle slogan.

BTW, since I stopped listening to Snoorge and Churchy, after a recommendation, I started listening to John Batcholor, (thanks for the recommend) but I've stopped listening to him because he's too far to the right for me, he's gloating over the vote last Tuesday.  Now I'm listening to PRN, some of it is amaturish, some of it too far to the left, but they broadcast a strong variety of shows and music/talk.  They just had a show about bringing soil back to life in a regenerative manner (they don't like the term "sustainable", they don't want what we have sustained, they want things improved).  Working soil and keeping it fertile for continued farming is hard work and the show touched on ways to do so without using chemicals that will run off into flowing rivers.  I didn't hear the entire show, but this is the kind of thing I'm looking for, people trying to find answers to life's challenges, and talking about their ideas.  Yeah, it can be boring, but I need enrichment, not entrainment, if I want to improve my lot in life.

Art might consider having a variety of shows, not just about conspiracies (I hate that kind of show), but about how we can make future life better.

Faustina

I agree it would be good for Art to have a variety of shows,  but with the emphasis (say 80 percent of the shows) being about the paranormal.

laserjock

Yeah, mostly paranormal, but variety of credible experts.  For example, Art had Michio Kaku for his first guest on Dark Matter.  There's more to life and even entertainment than pure paranormal.  Noory almost had something good, but evidently screwed it up:  talking about the future of cars/transportation.  I didn't listen, but did he ever mention the Moller Sky car or talk about cars without wheels?  Nope, probably didn't.

I've started listening to PRN and they offer a variety of shows, for instance, today, during moments I paid attention, there was a show on improving farm and garden soil through healthy natural ways rather than noxious chemicals, an old 50's radio show with a message, a show about conflict resolution and how to deal with angry people so everybody is happy, and some news and discussion from a liberal prespective.  Just my cup of tea, yeah, I'm one of those pathetic libtards.

But that's the thing, there are ways to work around a broad topic while offering meaningful, helpful information that can make the world a better place for you and me.  Frankly, some of the shows on DMRN kinda suck, and I've lost all respect for some of the hosts, such as Jimmy Church, he's as much of a fraud as Noory, with just as big an ego.

Art just posted on fb. -
"Don't forget Sunday night Jimmy Church will be on Coast promoting DM Network, you might call in and help him. It's a one time deal so let's make it good!"
edit- he also posted this-
"Those who manage to call in and say DM rules the night get extra points from me"

LOL one time deal?

Come on Art...

laserjock

Art... ART!  It ain't a one time thing, and Church has a voice and SOME skill, but he's just like Noory, riding on coat tails and lacks integrity and the ability to CHALLENGE guests to justify their assertions while not scaring them off, which is what, YOU, Art, do so very well.  I'll listen, Art, just for you, but the only thing I wanna give Church is a fat lip after the show he did about Sandy Hook.

laserjock

BTW, how DO you guys listen on the radio?  I get too much computer/RF interference to hear ANY AM broadcast.
