Welcome back... hope all is well.

Thank you! You too!

Looking around a little bit, it seems Elflord was discovered to be a Ft. Rock Sock? It's hard to discern what happened.

onan

Ft.Rock has garnered some support recently... how that happened... no clue.

I thought Elflord was discovered to be Thunderbird.

This book is magic.

EDIT: Maybe it's from the future and a time traveler left it behind?

My theory is that it is from an alternate universe.

That's what I'm thinking.   ;D   With an angel ghost writer.  "Can an angel be a ghost?  Could it be a mean ghost?" - Jorch Noaree.

Could it be a portal?

Not sure. It might have come through a portal dragged in by shadow rodents.

Unlike Snoory, I do believe in coincidences.

And perhaps it was meant for me to do the initial search for the book so that there would be balance in both universes ( or multiverses ). If Whitley and Art were MEANT to write the book years ago and didn't, who knows what effect that might have had. Maybe it meant we would be cursed with Snoory because of it's NOT being written in THIS universe.

I say it's a gift from Angels.

Is this what happened when Art left the air ?

According to one comment the guy is wrong about crime in Pahrump.

I didn't realize Pahrump was that spread out. Remember when Art was talking about their first red light and the Wal Mart coming to town ?

life is nothing but coincidences.  What the hell do people think "luck" is.  Jesus H!

Snoorge needs a lot of coincidental bad luck.

Sorry if you all have seen this but I just found out about it.  It is the Internet Wayback Machine which has archived versions of old web pages from year ago.  I typed in Art's old site address and they had quite a few archived pages.  Address: http://web.archive.org/web/*/http://www.artbell.com
Once there, you select a year and then look for any date circled in blue and you will see the nuts and bolts of Art's old page as it existed on that date.  It is fascinating to read reviews and have pleasant memories of specific shows.

Falkie2013

I don't know what YOU found by clicking on the blue dots, but everyvtime I try it I get directed to the Snooremaster's site.

Which also still sucks.

Falkie2013

There's good luck and bad luck. And to me it seems sometimes you make a decision to do something or go somewhere that's totally random at the time yet winds up being a positive choice.

And sometimes it's something out of your control, like looking up one thing on the web and finding out something that's useful because you find an item by accident.

I've done that with things and either found events or made money or a new place to go that was really cool.

I think sometimes we make our own good luck and sometimes it's thrust upon us.

And Dumb Luck - someone has to have the most of it, which brings us to George Noory..

Try one of the older dates before 2002.  Here is a link to a 1997-98 page: http://web.archive.org/web/19980130204553/http://artbell.com/

Oh the old Art Bell website had this photo of Miss Idaho 1963:  Linda Moulton Howe.

thanks for that. Next month I'm finally gonna buy the old disk set of AB's site from Rowland which he still sells. I still haven't found my set of disks that I bought when Art was still on the air.

What a pity that so many links to pictures on the site no longer work. I wish Art had been able to keep his site up as it was so much better than Snoory's first CTC site or his " improved " new site ( which still sucked ).

Art's site was so much easier to navigate unlike Snoory's which is terribly designed and also still sucks.

I think that's another reason ensuring Art would never return, a significant portion of his "peak" audience(circa 1997-98) would abhor Art's "politics" these days. Remember on those rare occasions when Art hosted from 2007-10? He'd have a subject like climate change and by the end of the second hour you could hear the frustration in Art's voice as he got negative feedback via the fast blast. The show he did on July 30, 2010 I could have sworn would be his last, he sounded dejected, pissed. I'm stunned we got another 4 shows out of him after that.

Personally...I never listened for Art for political takes. He always reminded me of Howard Stern when it came to politics. Opportunistic, trendy, no core convictions other than protecting their piece of the pie. A thimble has more depth. A big fan of war, too. Not the band, either.

Art's liberal politics irritated Me. When He started blabbing them,I changed the channel

One of the main reasons I took a liking to Art was his analytical approach to issues.  I didn't peg him as a liberal (I am one) or a conservative but as someone, as a byproduct of searching for the truth to paranormal topics, who had thoughtful approaches to normal topics.  It was so refreshing, what with AM radio being consigned to a conservative echo chamber, to hear someone powerful say something different.

I must be drinkin' the Kool-aide, I got -

R 87%
L 69%
D 19%
G  4%

I would have guessed less than that for the Rs and more than that for the Greens (although maybe not, they are more 'Left' than 'pro-environment').  The L and D looks about right.
Mine are:
96% Republican
53% Libertarian
16% Democrat
12% Green

Hello Art! (he's currently online)

Once there was a flame coming from the desert along with the bright light of knowledge and truth.

Now it is all gone to ashes.

Come back oh mighty one and deliver thy people from the bondage of Pharaoh Noory and his evil boring ways !

" Midnight in the desert, once it spread knowledge through the skies.

A magical journey that took us all along for the rides.

Now it's midnight from a cave, as a madman raves.

And we're not listening any more to your babbling spew coming from your Midwestern cave deep below your brain.

  Ooooooooo. "

Sounds of a mournful desert wolves crying in pain. See video below.

Out of curiousity, just how do you know when Art is on line ?

All I see on my screen is members and guests are on.

I miss you very much Art.

Best wishes to you and your family and maybe you can post new pics of your daughter on here one day.

I have to confess, I always had a "thing" for LMH. Over the last 15 years or so, I have communicated with her off and on via email, and based on my experience, she seems to be a sincere and dedicated researcher with a real thirst for "the truth".
