Ha!  I think that was the beginning of the end of cable/ satellite for me.  If you can't count on tuning into goosestepping Nazis 24/7,  forget it.

The history channel like C2C sucks. In fact their decline happened around the same time.

I'm thinking this is exciting to the Scorpion Army. Maybe someone could explain said army to the newer folks. It's a cool name and would make a great design on a leather jacket. Just thinking aloud. So excited.

Ask FORT ROCK, and maybe he will let you join so you can find out all you need to know about the scorpion army.

It's great Art has the freedom to control every aspect of the program and can do things like that.

They have made some terrible miniseries lately while still calling themselves History. Yet they couldn't even manage to get the situations right when it came to the World Wars one in which they put people in certain positions too soon... and showed Hitler as some sort of fearless errand boy running through trenches without avoiding bullets even though his own fellow soldiers called him a cowardly pig who avoided any hard work.

That's the difference between Midnight In The Desert & Dark Matter... with Art free to do his own thing now, how can it be anything but the best radio anyone has heard for years?  July will be so cool.

Yeah, and I used to watch them years ago. Why don't they move all this shit to Animal Planet? Mike Bara's alien nonsense show is (or was?) already there. Animal Planet is such a fitting place for Mike:D

Open Lines Gerry is definitely looking forward to Art's July return as well.  Yes - it will be cool!  I have my Sony ICF-SW7600GR shortwave radio ready to go!

Or be a short person, formerly known as a dwarf or midget - whatever the preferred term is these days.  My wife watches multiple shows on TLC, and I usually try to leave the room to preserve what few brain cells I have left.

Just imagine being physically stunted and then think about how you would like strangers to identify you.

If it makes anyone feel any better I think I might have been the target audience for Saved By the Bell but I didn't like it, I didn't know anyone that did. I think it may have been one of those things that they try to push down your throat "you will listen or watch this" Like all those songs that came between the songs you did like on the radio. For example remember that awful song they played every five minutes by Starship "We Built This City"? ug

Hey!  You got something there - SAVED BY THE BELL!  Is that anything useful for Art's new show?

This sure sounds like an Art Bell subject... no one has an explanation for these noises

I dunno, seems to me any number of wind factors could cause the sounds reported. Different speeds of wind at different altitudes could cause some sort of friction. Or it could be monsters.

Clearly those are the sounds of alien ass rips.

Sounds like monsters to me. The skeptics just don't want to believe. Insult at the Amazing Randy.

The hitler channel was pretty good. It used to be a good network, it sucks now. History channel shouldn't have reality, miniseries etc. there documentaries were pretty good back in the day, should not have gone away from them.

I remember I used to watch History Channel, Discovery Channel and Animal Planet all the time as a teenager. All of them have sadly totally deteriorated.

Do you mean the second amendment?

If we're still looking for a group name - how about Bell's Buds, Bell Bugs of Nye, Bell Cats of Nye, Bell Hounds.

Yes, at least it was history when it was Adolf and company.  A horrific period in history but you have to admit O'Toole could really strike a pose in their gear.
