ATTENTION! ATTENTION!
For those of you that still subscribe to Rolling Stone magazine. Art Bell is mentioned in an article on Merle Haggard and Willie Nelson.  (Pg 27) of the June 4, 2015 issue..  "These days, they share a love of conspiracy theories (both are devoted fans of paranormal-obsessed radio host Art Bell) and making music with their children. "-Patrick Doyle

Thought that was worth a mention. It caught me by surprise the writer would mention it.

Great article on thier tour. Art should try and get them on together. Would be a hoot!
I think he interviewed them both (separately) back in the day but, yes, it would be a good interview again. I like when Art had legitimate/music guests in addition to paranormal, conspiracy, etc. Hope he does it again. Gordon Lightfoot was interestingly humble also and just, basically, said hard work gained from his parents to become a singer/songwriter as I recall and also admitting his problems. I suggest W&W and Dan Ackroyd (and his dad) as some guests on new MITD. Bring celebrity and get "word" out about new show also. No surprise that they would like Art's shows. On the road on the bus, late at night, after a show, after some smoke, etc. Plus both don't like political bs or conformity for conformity's sake but still are honest guys who like the little guy, family, farms, and the country.

Shirley passed away a few years ago, Brig. As did Linnea and JoeQuinn.  Very strange, those passings....  And sad.
Thank You for letting me know Rockaria.

Hi brig, good to see ya.

Welcome to the forum of the "vaguely comedic piranha", lol.

I'd forgotten about ImaginativeWorlds. Good forum but not as active as this one. And no piranha.

Imaginative Worlds, Fantastic Forum and CoastRiders are places I met people I will never forget, but I like laughing here MUCH better :D

I'm seeing two dates with Rodney on the 22-23, and wonder if it was a quick mention one day... and a full show the next. I have never heard it, but Art used the voice changer on him just now, hahaha

Maybe a double listing on the site because the C2C site has no date, and I found it on another list of old shows. One of the dates has more than one guest while the other has just Rodney.

Yes.  I think Georgie For Pres. is right it is a time zone thing.
Caught the voice change thing.  Loved it when he would do that.

He is right. The site had the show listed twice because Art just mention Len Horowitz being on earlier in the show right at the end.

:)  Don't know about you, but since I live in a time zone where it is already 'tomorrow' when the show comes on I forget about the date change midway through the show.

Also, November 23rd, 1996 was Saturday.

Sure when Art was on, but when Dave is on I find myself hoping that a meteor would strike... and tomorrow would never come. Btw, that site had multiple shows listed on multiple days while the C2C archive only goes back to 2003 which is stupid. No one want to know what Noory has done.

lol  Yes I agree about the difference between Art and Dave.  Internet Archive Wayback Machine only goes back to 2000.  And I can't seem to find my way back into the text pages that have the forum archives.

Ok, so I actually called into the GabCast AND I find FortRock rather interesting and creative...guess I'll be sticking around for a while! And once Art is back on, we will all enjoy late night talk again! God Speed John Glenn!

It appears they haven't been archived which sucks.

LOL...I'm glad someone actually asked! Newbies are treated rather well...guess that was one of the main points of tonight's show considering there will probably be a lot more new folks joining before July 20! A new frontier!

I was hesitant at first because I started lurking during a piranha feeding frenzy.  Once I jumped in I discovered that it wasn't the way I thought it would be.

I missed the gabcast tonight and have been wondering for awhile... I assumed a fountain or a urinal in an art installation, but I assume I am wrong because it kind of looks like a lab or a school... (that, and there is no tile around it.)

I think there were only a few stray, unintended "nips" on the wrong targets back then.  So long as you did not bleed, the school probably moved onto softer prey...

Today is one day closer to July.
