I personally would like a weekend host to keep things going. The weekend is a fun time to listen. Who knows Art could do a Sunday or Saturday here and there and take Mondays etc off. I'm sure it's all up to him and I for one would like a dynamic schedule that can change. Fact is they will be replaying his shows so muh it will be impossible to miss one (plus being able to download them)

Well it used to say on Art's site that he'd be mon-thurs, fri repeat, sat/sun TBD.  Now it doesn't say any of that it just gives the start time and no end time.

So something has changed I think, but he just hasn't announced it yet

I’m sorry, but I can no longer listen to C2C.  The increasingly right wing tone of the show and guests takes the entire show in a different direction.  I stopped listening regularly two weeks ago, and now I shall stop altogether after the “Oates” incident.  That was just despicable.  You wouldn’t have a job at C2C if it weren’t for Art Bell.  The indignation you have shown is outlandish.

Nevertheless, I’m one more former listener and a new Serius XM radio subscriber.  I’m sorry, but I don’t listen to Rush either, so for you producers who are cc’d on this email, you have lost another 17 year listener of C2C

Yeah I agree with you. I was thining he could use it as filler for a month or two until he got a decent amount of shows saved up in the new libary.

Art gifted Whitley Streiber with Dreamland, but Whitley said Art could have it back whenever he wanted it.  I doubt Art would ask for it back from him though.

My bet:  She knows. She's not saying she doesn't. She's just asking that you, in your own words, explain what the problem you have  is.

Write her back, give as much detail as you can, coherently and professionally.  I can tell you from having fielded complaints for work in the past, a lot of times management wants to hear from the customer in their own words. If Lisa (or whoever) takes your letter to upper management, it comes back as, "what's this guy's issue?" and anything Lisa says can be refuted as pure speculation. Instead, she brings an email from you specifically stating your gripe, there are no questions.

Look at who Art has liked on his facebook page. One of the likes is a broadcaster I've never heard of that does paranormal stuff. Who knows!

I noticed yesterday in scrolling down that last year I posted the question; " Will Art Bell ever return to the airwaves ? ".

I'd not thought about that until I saw the topic.

As an aside, last night the local news said that the Mt. Diablo fire was putting out a lot of smoke and if you have asthma or breathing issues not to go out in it.

I got home here in Martinez, got out of the car and started wheezing the minute I got out and my sinuses went crazy with mucus production and I started choking. Hadn't had an attack for 3 months or so.

I guess my lungs can't handle forest/brush fire smoke. Thought having the A/C on in the Prius would filter out such things, but didn't think about it consciously.

Found out we have to replace the catalytic converter. California is the ONLY state where you can't buy an aftermarket catalytic converter. You have to buy one from the dealer for your car. Damned CARB/Smog check rules anyway. If I were to move to Nevada or register it there, I could get one for $200, even they have the equivalent of Smog Check 2.

Gonna cost us somewhere around $ 1200 to replace it with their onerous smog rules that don't seem to apply in other states.

This is good news, for sure.  I've been surprised there hasn't been much mention of who will take the weekends, or if there will be weekend shows.  Remembering that Art had said he'll only be doing 4 shows a week, this could leave a serious gap in our expectations. Thanks, Icicle

It doesn't take a genius to figure out that having that creep on would cause problems. Go find the 2ND BEST OUT THERE. "The best one out there" fakes his reversals. Sylvia Browne + Nancy Lieder were banned for being frauds and sucking. Is he going to bring them on again?
