I was going to post regarding the shitty Noory show/video.  I was going to comment on how much I appreciate the humor and insight of the people here.  I just can't though.  Noory has mind-fucked me somehow.  He is such a cartoon character.  Such a phony.  I mean...I'm a few months into this forum and all the 'catching up' I do is taking a toll on my mind, body, and soul.  Fuck.  George Noory is a shitbag.

I went through a similar phase. I felt guilty about some of the things that I posted. I never said such things about other people, celebrities or not, on other forums. Noory was unique in that regard. My guilt subsided when I remembered some of the sick things that he did and said in the past. Still, I always refused to cross certain lines. I never hated the man, and I never wished harm on him. I vented due to the *hundreds* of things that irked so many people who loved Coast.

That's good to hear. You likely go back and forth with your conscience at times because you're not a "hater", but you're fed up with the constant incompetence. You feel worse when you realize how good the show *could* be with a new host, and you now can't even listen to the show when Noory hosts it. Am I close?

The thing is, I used to post on a couple boards that were dedicated to Art Bells Coast to Coast AM. The people on those boards enjoyed the challenge put forth by Art and the show. Many times folks would be posting away hours after the show was over, still discussing the guest and the subject.
When noory took over, I watched as these bright people slowly walk away from the radio program they were part of. Other than this board, I dont know of any other that still manages to gather folks who care about content, style, and form. Sad really...Art created a huge community of people who openly traded ideas and opinions, and gave up a large part of their day to do it. Noory seems to relish in destroying that very thing. For george, if you aint worshiping him, you are a hater and should be ignored, even if the criticism could help the program. Noory sucks...

If George put in any kind of effort at all - to improve, to put on a good show, to get good guests and actually interview them, to show some interest in the world around him, to educate himself on the show topics, to just be a genuine good person, anything...

Did anyone just hear what I will refer to as The Pizza Roll Monologues? He's warning parents about the dangers of feeding their children microwaved foods....hoping that he can save "just one little child"?! I'm near speechless. Someone needs to isolate that clip, and make a PSA out of it.
We also learn that he's visited an ear, nose and throat specialist for a follow up! What a tremendous puss! He is completely self unaware.

Totally.  I've heard it before, but what got me here was the weird glitch in the middle of noory's sentence.  It's almost as if it was dumped by someone other than noory, like the board op or perhaps Tommy.

And on more than one occasion George has said he "can go toe to toe with the best of them," but I guess not really.  I liked the lady that called in during open lines to defend FDR from Douglas Dietrich's attacks.  Somebody texted George to explain the "fiscal cliff."  How anyone would rely on George to explain anything is beyond me.  Suck-up Tom said that George's TV show was "phenomenal."  Really, Tom?  Egads.

Unfortunately, I don't think GN is capable of feeling "bad" for driving C2C into the ground.  I think Noory is the type who is incapable of feeling any personal shame.  I think what drives a lot of us crazy is that not only does he not feel any shame, he ACTUALLY thinks he's doing a great job with C2C.  I'm not a psychologist, but I'm sure Noory falls into some kind of category for being a shameless, delusional character.

oh and another thing that I often think about when I see plastic barbie doll women...
lets say there's this huge disaster and all humanity is destroyed... epochs go by and an alien Hoagland is presented with what is presumable an alien fossil.  What would he conclude about the non-fossilized jelly bags and plastic pieces?  I'm not very schooled on the chemistry here but I know that bone will fossilize by being replaced by the minerals around it.  Petrification right?  What happens to all of our fake parts when there is nothing but our petrified remains?  Will there be a lot of confused aliens with storerooms full of titty implants and titanium hips they can't fully explain??

Ever since I watched an episode of "autopsy" where they were able to identify a skeletonized woman by her fake tits I have thought about this.
