how about thinking up a new fun online game with a bouncing noory-head? Should be very popular.  ;D

During the Kevin Mitnick interview open lines, the first caller was SOOOOO PLANTED!!!!!!!!

"Hi George I love the show. I listen to you 6 nights a week." He's not even on 5 nights a week jerkhole. Bye bye! I wish I could invent a radio to hang up on callers based on listener dissatisfaction. Noory would be off the air now.

This was the call that preceded George Noory's dumbest question of all times "What percentage of people use computers? 80%?" Kevin's laugh following this question was revealing.

The Left isn't so much about saving the planet as controlling the rest of us.

Yes, there is less ice is some places.  And more ice in others.  Probably less over all lately.  Things change over time.  Several hundred years ago Greenland used to be green and warm, then it got colder.  England was warm most of the year.  Newfoundland was called Vineland due tot he fine crop growing weather.  Cycles within larges cycles.

I think it would be much easier and saner to convince people to have less children, to consume less, to stop the things we are doing to kill our oceans, to stop destroying habitat, develope alternative energy, all that.  But using force, using these issues as excuses to rachet up our taxes, adding more petty bureaucrats to craft nuisance laws, more control over us by the same people that can't effectively run the massive govt they allready created - gee, people resist that?

And Al Gore.  Building that huge mansion, the one that uses as much energy as a small city.  Flying around on private jets.  That's the hero?  Please.
Wise words, and obviously well thought out, with what you had to work with. I appreciate the efforts of those who work in special education helping people like yourself to integrate into normal society, best of luck!

that caller must have been thinking of the first week of the month when Noory also hosts Sundays for 6 nights/week.
but lately he makes up for that extra night by taking off a friday each month or cutting out early every other friday. ;)

Noory has that Dr. Louis Turi back on tonight with more of his so-called predictions.
Turi always makes very vague predictions without a specific location or date, like there will be unrest somewhere in the world in September.
He can make those vague ones work no matter what...  :P

Turi just told Noory that they are both the same age - 61.
Noory replied but they don't act their age.
Thats for sure, Noory still acts the same as when he was age 13.  ;)

"So, Lisa says 'Next time Jim's on, ask him why he's ashamed.' So, Jim, what's up?" George Noory asked.

The guest is ashamed to call himself a journalist in this country. I wonder if it has anything to do with being "a friend of Coast to Coast".

Somewhere, I got distracted. But I got undistracted when George Noory asked "Well, where do people go for the truth?"

"They go to you, George Noory. They go to you."

Frankly, I fail to understand how this guy can be ashamed when he has no shame whatsoever.

So far tonight, I think my favourite quote came right after they were talking about herriatge seeds for plants being stored.  I think it is an exact quote, but I could be a little off... "somebody, somewhere knows something."  What insight. :o

Oh man I wish that Krugman had not mentioned an alien invasion helping the economy.  I think I have heard a crackpot comment on it and take it seriously every night since.  Do you imagine that the Yale educated, Nobel prize winning economist could have foreseen the coast audience who would take him seriously and some would think he was making a suggestion?  If you watch the interview he mentions at the end the idea (which seemed to have come spontaneously as he talked off the cuff) was based on a twilight zone episode.

And to add I think it is worth mentioning that much of the warming has coincided with our increases in industrialization.
I think you may be right... we likely agree on more points than disagree when it comes to this subject.  We probably just approach the subject form differing points.

What? Drudge Report is a news aggregation site and not a news outlet. There's no original content there. Drudge may be "increasingly irrelevant" to you but hardly to anyone else. He is second only to Google in driving traffic to real news sites. Hardly irrelevant. http://www.nytimes.com/2011/05/16/business/media/16carr.html

I'd ask you to explain what you mean by "he constantly works with the Drudge Report" but any answer you have would be meaningless (irrelevant) to me.

What it means is that this fraud writes an article falser than his credential and filled with about 95% lies. Next he emails Drudge. Next Drudge puts it on the website and thousands of idiots read it and believe it is true, just like almost every other false topic Drudge has been pushing for years. Drudge has some legitimate news sites posted, and then a litany of liars and frauds like Ball, Breitbart, or O'Keefe. I don't doubt knowing the site is filled with liars is meaningless to you, nobody would read the site if they were worried about actual news. The only people looking at the site are far right Dittoheads and people looking to see what the latest lies are. Drudge has no influence over the news cycle like he used to. There are only 2 reasons that the site exists; because like AOL people go there out of habit, and because the right needs a site to drop their frauds on since their blogs are almost universally mocked and the corporate think tanks can't damage their reputations by doing it.

Does anyone else notice or feel that George is sort of right wing leaning.?  He never has liberal guests on.  Only people that promote the Republican or Tea Party agenda.  I would think that a show like this would be more open minded.  I don't understand why politics is discussed at all on this show anyway .  If I wanted to hear people bash the president I'd listen to right wing radio or watch Fox news..  I wish the show would be like it was when Art Bell hosted it. What makes it unique now?  I'd actually stopped listening to the show all together and was only listening to old
Art Bell shows because somewhere along the line George changed. Now the old AB shows are no more.  Forced to listen to Paracast or Dreamland.

Welcome, brenda, and all other new coastgabbers.  I don't think George has a position on anything beyond whatever the position is of whoever he's interviewing at any particular moment.

I like Jim Marrs, usually, but tonight he gave credence to the idea that those Navy Seals killed in the helicopter crash may have been the victims of a cover up.  Is Ian the only one over there who's going to stand up to this stuff?  George read some breaking news about the comet Elenin is disintergrating.  I'll go to Richard C.'s facebook page (nothing on Drudge about it) for more information on this. Dr. Louis Turi was harmless enough, but he said something that got my mind thinking:  America will be reborn when they finish building whatever it is that's going to replace the Twin Towers.  He may be right.  That gap in the skyline, that trauma that we went through, that pain, that horror, just might be the reason (well, that and a screwed economy, a communist president, no big epic space plans, shitty movies out of hollywood, zombies rampaging through our psyche, all the salt and sugar taken out of our foods, people exercising everywhere like we were all in prison, lousy music, crappy comets that can't hold themselves together...ah, anyway) we're all, as George would put it, "acting weird".  I just hope it's cool, but whatever it is, let's get it done.

Noory pisses me off alright. He sure does suck too. I cannot stand you Noory and you are a walking ass-pocket.
May you trip walking down the sidewalk and fall face-first into a pile of fresh dogshit. You and your punk bitch Dongheiser, copulating between breaks on the air. I think it would be totally awesome if you were both mugged by a gang of escaped Army psychiatric patients wearing Mexican wrestling masks on your usual Saturday latenight stroll home from the gay sailor bar. You both deserve it and suck you freaking mooks.

It seems GN is another right wing kook, seeing conspiracies around every corner, and the constant references to biblical scriptures is a real turn off.  He slates guests that seem to hate Obama or at least distrust him, and such a joke that some think he's a communist! Throw enough mud and hope some of it sticks I guess. I tune in for the first 15 minutes or so, and then 99% of the time, I change stations to our 1 progressive radio station.  In case you haven't noticed, many of the posters on this forum are pretty far right as well. We just have to let them hear our voices too, if they will open their ears.

I don't know if C2C is still running it, I haven't heard it for a couple weeks or so, but they were playing the spot where Noory states (paraphrasing) that his job on the show and in radio is to bring people the truth, because of course they can't get it from any other source.  As I can remember, AB never made any such statement but simply said that his show brought people information that they wouldn't get anywhere else, but that ultimately everyone had to decide for themselves what the truth was.

Problem with GeoSnoory is that he wouldn't recognize the truth if it was doing him doggy style.

I keep forgetting about this fraud when I'm making my 'worst guest ever' list. His 'predictions' always are in the form of "something about unrest or police actions on September 14th and 28th" but requires a 48 hour window for each. Any chance at all some sort of unrest or police action won't happen somewhere in the world on those 48 hour 'days' ? Noory loves the guy.

Jones will connect a dot to what isn't even a dot. I am not right leaning but even I will defend the right against Jones.
