We should start a movement to have millions of people send him ouija boards.

... or clown dolls.
^^ EXCELLENT IDEA

Noory is just another low life actor that will do anything for a dime.

A Prince of Lies and Illusion aka con artist.

He'd probably stick his pinky finger in that dog's asshole just to see if he could generate a wormhole. Then interview an expert on the topic and try and sell it to the coast audience as a science.

I was just looking over the new C2C AM photos:

"C2C Digicam: Brandon Scott Makes George Disappear!"

If only it were true.  Ever notice how much George looks like Saddam Hussein before he lost his hair and mustache dye?

This set me to look at the pics on coasttocoastam.com, and seeing the pics for the "Emerging Artists" made me wonder - WHAT the HELL? Coast to Coast meets American Idol. Wonder who thought that lovely concept up. After all, they totally go together.

Oh man and that reminds me of those God awful listener talent nights. "Call into Open Lines and play your musical instrument." Good lord. Really George?

Wow I shouldn't go to that site again. It's just turned into a giant ad for buying gold and working from home. It's such a shame. I used to enjoy that website before they redesigned it.

Hi and welcome!  I totally agree... the new website was tried out with consumers ahead of time, sans ads, and it was beautiful.  Then they put it up and pasted bumper stickers all over it.  Such a shame.  I wrote an email to Lex, but that's a waste of finger energy.

Neocon Greg Hunter on the world economic mess.  I think someone on yesterday's show that we had about 200 billion in gold reserves locked away.  That's all?  Yeah, it sounds like a lot, but not for a big time country like us.  Somebody has been looting the stash.  There is an article on his website on how Ron Paul may win the presidency.  I can see this, although I also like Hermain Cain.  George brings on Dave Talbott and Wallace Thornhill to push their alternate theory of an electricity (as opposed to gravity) based universe.
I suppose none of this matters with only two days to go until the end, and my thoughts go to the things that have made this life, this world, meaningful.  Like marshmallows, Hershey's miniatures, cats, big breast, thunderstorms, cigarettes, coffee, Casablanca, my kids, cool rocks that I've found on the side of the road, cocoapebbles, hotdogs, my wife, sharpies, coca-cola, Elvis Costello...

...Godzilla, the Honeymooners, DS9, the smell of grass after
it's been but by me and my Toro, Frank Sinatra,
Watership Down, Robin Meade, ice cream...

I knew it was all over when I received a pop-up ad squarely in the middle of my monitor that I had to close manually. That is the surest sign of a website selling out to its sponsors while ignoring the consumers.

I didn't believe Andrew Basiago the last time he was on, and tonight I didn't find him any more credible.  He's the guy who claims the government stuck him in a time machine, along with a bunch of other kids, and sent them to different time periods for some some reason or another, back in the 1960's.  Then Micheal J. Murphy was on to talk about the most boring of all c2c subjects: chemtrails.  Ugh.

I caught part of the show.  It was pretty amusing when a skeptical caller actually somehow got through and challenged Asiago about his story.  The mustache went silent.  I thought they would dump the call but the caller managed to stay on for a few minutes while the cheesy Asiago got all indignant and pissy.  Then George quickly went to break.  Seems like that is only the second or third time I've ever heard anything but ass-kissers on the phones on Noory's show.  I'm sure that is the last time that particular guy ever gets on.

I think a good definition of a dog's asshole would be a "wormhole".

Thank you Michael,
I recall him saying a few of these too..."Lamb Legs" is the one that makes me laugh until tears roll down my face...thank you for these, seriously. I had been having some Friday night insomnia and wondering what Art Bell was up to. In doing some googlin', I found this forum, and as another who tried to give Noory a chance but gave up on him, these quotes are hilarious! I'll have to think of a few to add...

Roger

After talking to a fellow information junky who uses a lot hi-tech
equipment, and is in love with down-loads of the 'Best of Art Bell'
. . . to which I cannot relate having no sound-card nor willing to
invest in phone-time to peruse the internet . . .

Maybe we can live in the past, and in that past find here and there
junk we deem good 'listening'.

Okay, well: what about right now?  What about what we have to listen to
right now?

Shit!  Think I'll light a fire in the old fire place and entertain my
kids with the same kind of talk that amused us as kids ere there was
any Art Bell.

And I don't take Art Bell lightly.

As a child of maybe two or three, I recall my mother putting me to bed in
an upstairs bedroom.  Off this bedroom was a 'summer room' where my two
oldest brothers were tinkering around with an old Scott Marine Band Radio.

While I was supposedly asleep, I recall our old man coming up to see what
my older brothers were up to with this ancient equipment.

They were picking up single-side-band signals, catching snippits of
chatter between active short-wave people; some things apparently being
picked up from Navy, Air-force . . . maybe Army communications? Who knows?

Dad would stand there in the doorway looking over my older-brothers' shoulders
while smoking his Viceroy or Winston ciggies.

Yet for a 3 or 4 year old child laying there watching: it was magic!

The night sky seen through the casement windows, there was a 'UFO flap'
around that time, and the typical romantacism that attends a child with
brothers and parents: everything seemed possible!

Our oldest brother even did a kind of 'play' or demonstration of 'magic'
by tying a rope around an air-pipe projecting through the roof from this
third-floor house.  He put on a cape, told my older brother he was going
to fly, and he ran from the back of this summer-room and jumped out the
window! My older brother, number 4 son, saw my oldest brother 'fly' out
that window not knowing about the rope he caught and slid down to the
ground by.

A short time later, this oldest brother came back carrying two milk-shakes
and some fries from a local 'hop'.

To our childish perceptions: these guys were GODS!

When Art Bell appeared on the scene! Man!  Confrere with these GODS!

Very cool guy!

That kind of coolness.  That kind of saavy, that kind of jokerism: neat!

Come back! Is all I want!

Why not?  Why must the magic die?

I've been listening tonight and George is doing a terrible job as expected.

Early in the show George played a pre-recorded "spoof" of him taking calls as if the rapture was really taking place. The callers sounded like idiots and so did George. The thing is that if the rapture was taking place this is exactly what George would sound like: making lame jokes and cutting callers off.

I have higher hopes for tomorrows show with Ian.

Roger

Oh! You were listening to GN?  I was just now listening to Clyde Lewis!

Wonder, between the two of us, which one was being more idiotic in
listening?

In turning the dial, I did come upon that 'spoof' by gn.

It wasn't funny.  Not close to being even slightly clever.

'Amateur hour'.

I remember feeling the same kind of embarrassment at crap done by fellow
students in grade-school, at myself included.

Why are we paying for 'try-outs'?

El-Kragen: you are waiting on ip for depth?

Really?

Know what I think?  Enjoyment of constant parenthetical statements,
interuptions ad nauseum and stuttering on-air formulations of a question
must be entertaining to some.  Not me!

Not cool. Not fascinating.  Not intriguing nor any kind of magnet of my
interest.

How money flows there-to: I'll never know. Hell: don't want to know.

Hence: a fascinating night will involve rebuilding a lawn-mower engine,
drinking a beer, and remembering how cool things USED TO BE!

IOW: BOORING!

I never thought I'd want to want to be entertained by being back in
high-school.  Stupid as hell as that period was in my life, it wasn't
near as stupid as someone saying they were looking forward to hearing
ip stutter through yet another boring re-iteration of who ip is over and
over again.

What a fucking jack-off. Give me a fucking break.  You probably ARE
ip, sniping.

George Noory has become a conundrum wrapped in an enigma, ...or is it the other way around?

I've been on twitter all evening watching this topic take off. I forgot to check in with my friends here...It's now May 21st here on the East coast. And the first inhabited island (Kiritimati) has already seen 6pm and no earthquakes yet! I'm actually looking forward to c2c tonight for the first time in like 6 months.

In what came close to being a "real" moment, a lady called in right before the end of the show saying that her ex-husband and kids were part of the Camping crew, and she was worried about them.  I don't know what George could have said, or done, but perhaps something beyond the shallow, forgetable advice he gave.  At least get her number and follow up on Monday.  There is a grand human interest story here that's lost in George's big picture circus.  God still may end it all today just to shut Noory's smug trap.

Has anyone heard Snoory's music video voiceover yet?

Spread Your Wings - Nedy John Cross (From the movie Alien Armageddon)

Wow, even his acting sounds like an infomercial.  XD

george noory is an act.  he's acting when he's on air.  there is no real with george.  only fake.  hence .. the acting.  which he's really horrible at

That's the main reason I don't like the new direction of C2CAM:  It sounds too much like an infomercial all the time with Noory and sometimes with Punnett.  The only current host who sounds legitimate is Knapp, and he's only around two or three times a month.

IanSucks

Anyone else noticed C2C is covering some pretty lame topics in recent months....?!

fysisist

Wow that was soooooo clever on the Friday night show - a snippet of C2C with GN AS IF the rapture actually occurred.  Creative genius ...

God what an idiot.  I'd be willing to stick around to witness the destruction if the almighty would just rapture Noory and relieve us of the bondage of stupidity.

Eddie Coyle

ANY opportunity to duck out early on a Friday night and Noory will take advantage of it...

Danheiser's voice would be perfect for giving the Village People an intro or being the PA announcer at a men's bathhouse.

Roger

This is so hilarious, I just have to note it.  While spinning the dial
after a days labor, trying to get my high on, naturally passed by that
ilk of crap that is ian 'pundit'.  First thing I heard was an ad promoting
the catholic church!

The poor idiots didn't milk it enough. Like: 'Are you disatisfied with all
the crazy protestant shenanigans!?  Now's yer chance to get the real, real,
real, real, real truth! (We don't talk about end of days! Just Masses,
genuflections: routine stuff.  And, of course: your offerings (cash, checks or
money orders accepted!)  Get THE REAL salvation! We promise nothing that
won't come true!  You'll feel better, especially after confession! Get
real with us!

So . . . does C2C mean 'coast to coast'? Or catholic to catholic? Church to
church?

Yep.  I wanted to lay money that ip would devote his entire show to this.
Sounds like he did.  Of what I heard, never heard him so excited.

Guess his 'expert' was Judy Orloff and her pseudo-metaphysical-relioso-
pscyho-babble. Perfect.  Perfect idiocy.

Somehow I've got to get my soldering iron out and make it so my radio
CAN'T land on that station.

QuoteIn what came close to being a "real" moment, a lady called in right before the end of the show saying that her ex-husband and kids were part of the Camping crew, and she was worried about them.  I don't know what George could have said, or done, but perhaps something beyond the shallow, forgetable advice he gave.  At least get her number and follow up on Monday.  There is a grand human interest story here that's lost in George's big picture circus. Got that right......any radio host worth their salt could have made that interesting, either with some advice or just an analysis of how real people can be affected by this hoax. He sat there, hemmed and hawwed and said nothing of consequence.

fysisist

Noory's latest promo: "It's my job to bring you the truth".  He's a messenger of truth to the masses.  It's his mission to explain what's happening and why. Problem is, Noory wouldn't recognize the truth if it jumped up and kicked him square in his fat hairy ass.  He couldn't explain his way out of a wet paper bag.  I can't think of anyone less qualified.  His main talent is as head of he numb-nuts society.

Saffy

George is so much worse he must have been given a deadline because hes stuttering more and hes just all over the place....
