Can Noory pronounce anything correctly?

Don't get me started ... I'm ... moving on.  Yep no more ill-fated forays into the politics thread, for now.  Haven't seen that much angst and turmoil since the Art Bell Quits thread.   ::) :P

What I love about the paranormal is that there is no politics here.  No left, no right.  Only excellence (i.e. Art Bell & George Knapp) and ineptness (i.e. Dave Noory).

If Obama had a son, he'd look like Noory's moustache!!

Yes, why is that?

Why aren't the D's pro UFOs, OBEs, and Shadow People, while the R's champion Bigfoot, the Old Hag, and ghosts?

It comes down to reptilians ... no one wants to take ownership.

Bigfoot would surely mean Big Government, so would be unacceptable to Tea Partiers.

As soon as George started to introduce that bit I knew what was coming and had to turn it off.  I find his fondness of that recording kind creepy and sadistic.
Same here. Clicked off because I could tell he was going to play that clip, again.
1) I'm fairly certain it is faked and has been proven so.
2) Even if fake why are people beating each other up after a car accident funny, especially to George? Especially as he often, way to often, complains about road rage and that "people are just going nuts?"
He is a weird guy that seems to relish in the darker side of humanity. To wit, during the show about "thanksgiving" and a guest about positive thinking, helping others (which helps you mentally), etc he kept focusing on Ferguson riots, cop shootings, racial tensions, "everybody uptight and going nuts", and then ending with his trademark old ladies beating up a guy with a Bible fake skit?

From the witty and insightful posts you all provide- I'm glad I skipped this show. I heard this guest before and signed up for the "free" newsletter. I got tons of e mails and even some mailings trying to sell his many products. I understand that's why he appeared on the show but was naive enough to think it wasn't going to put me on a seller's list. I can get many of the same style exercises on internet sites.

George acted pretty much the way I expected- the comedy gold is in his delivery. I, too, have heard his bible lady skit. I agree that this has got to be a hoax. Just too ridiculous. The trigger is the man's uncontrolled laughter, the main stimulus, which is the equivalent of using a "laugh track" better known as "canned laughter" because laughter is social. This way George and Co. can manipulate their audience a bit.

If you catch on and step back from this ploy- your analytical take would be as other, here, have said- odd that they would react so violently... contradicts the whole premise of the night's guest/show... vengeance is not indicative of a healthy mind... I'm sure gabbers can think of many more.

It was the first time I heard it.  After the first 30 seconds I could not help but think that Howard Stern had sent George a reject skit of his (and for Stern to reject it, you have to know it really sucked.)

Yup, Jorch.  Aschoultly heliarous.

Yep, even IF it was a true incident it is a bizarre thing to play to end a Thanksgiving show. AND get new material, George! It is one thing to play a Sasquatch scream or "sounds from hell" semi-frequently because they were played when it made sense (a bigfoot caller or something.) But constantly replaying some random clip purporting old ladies beating up a guy with a Bible? For Thanksgiving? He has a very twisted mind.

Another guest host for the Nooron. And a bad one at that.

This is what's nice about being a Coast insider. I f I don't like what the Nooron wants to serve up, I hit the archives. By guest, by year, by host, by subject.

All Noorys bullshit aside, I wouldn't mind being an insider if Noory would engage the guests a little more.

Juan Cena

It's curious that Schrader is the one interviewing  Oswald's mistress tonight. Maybe it's just a scheduling thing. Still, you'd think all parties involved would have wanted Snorge interviewing her during the week, where it would have gotten more attention.

I know it is like the old side-shows at fairs (I miss them) but I think both guests tonight have done Schrader's own show recently. And I think Caravan even. Or RedIce? Anyway I think he had them on his own show very recently
Ok. Will listen but odd that "guest hosts" can bring in their guests.

Holee carp! I missed the page's trip past the 1776 mark.  I guess I better get working on my photoshop idea for that...

Back to the topic at hand.

I think he does this on the DishTV commercials, could be wrong.  I noticed that he was trying (I think) to say something along the lines of "...with this other thing you need an internet connection..."  But he mangled it into "...with this other thing you need a internet..."  or maybe you don't need "a internet" or whatever he said.  It sounded stupid whatever form it took, because whatever he was talking about clearly relied on the internet in order to function, and he just sounded (gasp) retarded....

GNS

I can see how that would be considered a significant landmark, but there's another one on the way:

What I really cannot understand is why news sites are picking this up today.. I think this took place well back near summer? ...

It was a portal "of course." Or maybe "time compression" phenomena.
