He spelled his new overlord's name wrong. It's D-A-V-E!  >:(

Jimmy will only listen to positive comments. He wont consider or accept that any negative observation actually holds any sort of value or truth. We're all just being really "not cool"
Chimmy is no doubt a fighter.  Just like his Master Dave Noorie.  You know.  The one who was ravaged by a pizza roll.  Also, Chimmy, along with submerging artists, don't forget to up your game with UFO Phil, when you bail out early to meet Dave and Tommy at IHOP.  Bring along a turkey on whole wheat as tribute to Dave.  He'll expect it.

All I'm saying is that George couldn't tell his life from his hole in the ground if his ass depended on it. Know what I mean?

Thanks Cowtown, for that insight into what a classless act Jimmy Churchlady is.

George just said that The Portent was also the name of a poem by Melville.  My guess is Noory has never read it and only knows this fact because he googled the title.  Actually it was probably Tommy who googled  it and texted him the info.

Here is the short ominous poem.  I actually like it.

The Portent
By Herman Melville

Hanging from the beam,
      Slowly swaying (such the law),
Gaunt the shadow on your green,
      Shenandoah!
The cut is on the crown
      (Lo, John Brown),
And the stabs shall heal no more.

Hidden in the cap
      Is the anguish none can draw;
So your future veils its face,
      Shenandoah!
But the streaming beard is shown
      (Weird John Brown),
The meteor of the war.

Most likely GN thinks a Portent is like a Portal.

Well I got through tonight to ask Michael Heiser if he thought the Ancient Aliens theory was racist, and was put on hold, but never got on. Instead, I got to hear all the usual type of drooler questions and people who were more interested in discussing their 226 page manifestos instead of asking the guest anything resembling a real question.

That sounds about right for open lines.  Bless you for still trying- almost everybody else has just left coast to the drooling idiots it has attracted under Dave's watchful eye.

Jimmy Churchlady-Snoory's response to those who fail to worship the ground he walks on.

Just how BIG of an asshole is Jimmy Church? Yesterday I posted this comment on his Facebook page:

"Art Bell is probably less than ecstatic you will be filling in for Snoory. You are on Art's Dark Matter network and are now fraternizing with the detestable Snoory who destroyed Art's "Coast To Coast AM" and reduced it to an infomercial. This is in poor taste and a conflict of interest, considering Snoory's unseemly attitude towards Art, and the fact the index-card reading Snoory pilfered Art's guests during his tenure on Dark Matter. The photo of you with the verbally and intellectually-challenged Snoory has diminished my esteem for you. This is not to say I might continue to listen to your web-based show, only that I am not alone in thinking you made a poor choice of venue. I considered you somewhat of a welcome ALTERNATIVE to the travesty that C2CAM has become under Snoory. Now it appears you are auditioning for a slot in Snoory's stable."

Jimmy Church-Noory deleted my comment and replied in a Facebook email:

"If you feel the need to post Norry stuff do it on YOUR timeline...not mine. Personal attacks on anyone have no place in my world. I would never post stuff like this on YOUR timeline. It's not cool.  Writing this to someone who I consider smart and funny is a complete waste of my time....OK???"

To which I replied:

"Jimmy, the name is "Noory", not "Norry" (but everyone knows him as Snoory). My comments are not a "personal attack" upon you. If I was deserving of "constructive criticism" - as I feel you are - I would welcome it on my 'timeline' and I do not delete it when it occurs. (Then again, you've never posted anything on my timeline). I am disappointed in your decision to audition with Snoory since I did consider your web-show a much welcome alternative to same, and you are after all on Art Bell's "Dark Matter" network. I would hope you are cognizant of  Bell's well deserved feelings about Snoory.

So much for your comment, "personal attacks have no place in (Jimmy's) world".

"George Noory: The best fall to sleep material on earth...better than Ambien. No joke. Honestly, I have NEVER gotten through a show. When I first heard him on air after Art I was pretty angry and have never gotten over it...I thought that a show like C2C was able to search the country and come up with somebody that was great...there is a lot of talent out there...I was shocked when I first heard Noory...I remember thinking at the time: "this is it??? this is what we've got??? are you kidding me???"...but, Herbalife has their spokesman and Clear Channel is happy. Ever wonder where Gaiam TV tapes their show??? I'll bet the farm it's in the Herbalife offices at Nokia Live in downtown Los Angeles."

To which Jimmy Church-Noory so eloquently replied via Facebook email:

"yeah, so???  Moving on.."

Jimmy Church-Noory then "unfriended" and blocked me on Facebook.

Church IS a sellout and a self aggrandized fool.  A while back he had a nutcase guest (some accolyte of Alex Jones I guess) who asserted that what happened in Sandy Hook was made up by the government.  I was enraged, seeing as how my own family knew and cared for adults and children that did die in that horrible massacre.  Church tacetly agreed to this guest and gave vocal approval to his insane assertions, rather than handle it as Art Bell would have.  Art would have questions the veracity of the guests assertions while at the same time encouraging him to talk, and have him justify himself.  Art wasn't an idiot suck up like Jimmy Church.

I started listening to Church because I had become so weary of Snoory, but Church is just as much a loser, except he's even more in love with himself than Snoory is.  He commented on a show that some people complained about his rauchious bumper music and responded to them with arrogance and taunting them.  I'm trying to sleep at the time that Church is on, because I get up at 4:30 AM to work.  Church is too arrogant to understand that these people were making a mature and reasonable request.  He's a diaper filling baby idiot.

laserjock

I want to add this:

Since learning about other radio shows (though I'm still desperately looking for a politically moderate/liberal host show) I've stopped listening to Noory and Church completely, they are both bloviators and self serving sellouts.  I could do much better on a show were I trained in Radio, and almost did go into radio years ago, but realized I would be too in love with myself were I to enjoy hearing myself yammer and chose going into optical physics instead.  I know, pathetic mistake I made, right?

Anyways...  I haven't listened to Church or Noory for ages now, and emotionally I feel happier when I wake up from sleep.  We should all stop listening, because that's how they make money, they don't care if we like them, they just want us to listen to them yammer and waste air.  The world is a horribly troubled place, and a person could use their bully pulpit to help make the world a better place, but what does Noory do?  Convince parents to stop vaccinating their children, causing more deaths of babies.  What does Church do?  Encourage people to not believe that people truly died in a massacre.  They aren't adding to life and solutions, they are leeches sucking the blood from society.

I heard that Sandy Hook show: disgraceful. Somewhat refreshing at first listen, Churchlady-Snoory got progressively more arrogant and self-important over the last month. What?! You don't consider "heavy metal" the greatest musical genre on the planet?  :) How 'bout the show where Churchlady-Snoory interviewed a heavy metal band member friend for 3 excruciating hours. Pretty heady stuff. And his pet "Spaceboy's" painfully derivative 'music' - yuck. Then there's Jimmy's gaggle of friends who call the show daily (Dino, Star 6, etc) without whom he'd have no callers. (If you don't like that, you're "not being cool.") Where's Wayne and Garth now that we need them?

This forum seriously needs a "like" button for us to express quick approval for other people's submissions!

Maybe the night that Church was on with the Snoorge the three of them, Tommy, Snoorge, and Chimmy had a circle jerk.  I can almost picture it...

IF I had the opportunity to be heard by millions, I'd most assuradly do a show dedicated to trying to make life better for humans and animals.  But then again, I'm a liberal with a heart...

I guess you and I are "Fader-NOTS"!

Is this with the radio on or off? As long as Jorch is behind the mike, I find either way works for me.  Jimmy gets Jorch.

Joorch's Question Of The Night (an occasional series)

'Have you found, Michael, that....you know....scrip..mmm...Bible...erm...Buddhists...Hebrew...that all of them are just interconnected? They talk about the same principles?'

Well, let's see, shall we, Georgie? Scrip is not a word, unless as an abbreviation for prescription. Bible is a book. Buddhists are people. Hebrew is a language. So clearly very interconnected.

Re: Sandy hook show.

I have a high tolerance for bullshit, but I couldn't stand to listen to that and turned it off. Church is just as bad as Jorch with agreeing with everything the guest says.

He should have played it safe, and just asked "Are things sometimes related to other things?"

It would be hard -- nay, impossible -- to beat Mike Bara when it comes to Sandy Hook nausea.

On the good side, or at least interesting, side: the first time in recent memory that a black guy was a guest on C2C (Andre Eggelletion.) Last one I recall was the guy from Detroit who wins at slots and gives away the money. And that was years ago. And vaguely recall someone as guest (about demons maybe) from Brooklyn as a guest. Again years ago.

I sort of remember Ronald Mallett being on in the last year or two, wasn't he?  He's the physicist trying to build a time machine to go back and visit his father.

Yeah I remember that guy.  George could have asked some good questions about paradoxes, but instead the guest spent the entire show trying to explain that he would remain in the time machine as he went back in time and just step out of it at some earlier point (but after it had been built).  I don't think George ever figured out that he wouldn't just magically appear somewhere.
