What are the identical services that are being used by a person being paid $800,000 per year, and a person not being paid at all? What, like... the ground? The air?

Army.  Navy. ...  Department of the interior.... whatever they do with that money.

If I have to end of paying 20-something percent of my income to the Feds on top of all the other taxes paid then in the spirit of fairness all must pay.  Anything else is just a free ride on my dime.

Well, the Goldfinger theme is a good bumper.  And it sure is better than the schmaltz he usually plays though I'm trying to figure how it is applicable to the theme tonight.  It probably doesn't.  I wish they would play songs appropriate to the topic.  I'd have a blast doing that if it was my show.

That would probably take Dave another eight hours of show prep per day.  When would the poor guy get his eight hours of rest??

Oh,.....wait....     ::)

Guest was somewhat New Age but not as bad as some.  Still I think he acted like he knew a lot more than he actually does.  Of course, that's nothing new to Coast.  Bruce Goldberg and Steve Quayle come to mind. ::)
What you said about Darrin (named after "Bewitched") being a little Van Praagh is spot on.Of course he wasn`t nearly as good at the game as Van Fraahd, but in time he`ll get the con down-he`s young.Of course he might want to learn more New Age lingo or "affirmations" instead of sounding like a fool by stating you don`t have to be Christian to benefit from The Lord`s Prayer.George was unusually dour for someone just celebrating a birthday-he must have not gotten laid.I like how he avoids the rap of being negative by doing everything in his power to get his guest to talk about coming catastrophes. You know what, I totally agree. And since General Electric paid zero dollars in taxes, everyone should pay zero dollars in taxes, because everything else is a free ride your dime, because you paid for the water, air, and electrons used to create electricity.

Supernatural, Cryptids, & Psychic Work
Thu 06-05
Psychic medium Darrin Owens will discuss his lifetime of work with the paranormal and supernatural. He'll cover his experiences with the South's Bigfoot, the Fouke Monster, and why he believes these creatures are interdimensional, as well as flesh and blood. He'll also address many aspects of the supernatural including his work performing exorcisms, and releasing spirit attachments.

Imagine you, like me, were looking forward to hearing about bigfoot and Fouke monsters, and so you turned on C2C tonight for the first time in quite a while.

Instead, I'm hearing for the thousandth time that all I have to do is meditate and I, too, can be as great as people like Jorch. (If I throw away my pills, that is.)

Damn this show!  :P  GNS

I think George is a "spirit attachment".  Someone please pry him off our airwaves.

Did he say "Seattle Specific University"????

How can this not make the top-right quote.  I ask you.  Seriously.
Thanks for the shout-out, Zeebo.  It's bad enough if Jorch whacked Goatsy, but can you imagine then being smeared with shoe polish and  mounted, spread-eagle, atop Jorch's head?  Come on, Jorch.  Wasn't just scalping 'lil Goatsy enough for you?  Do you have to wear his whole carcass on top of your brainless knob?  There truly are some things worse than death.

No wonder this guys exorcisms were so weak.  He only does it over the phone and at media appearances.  I'm sorry, if I'm possessed, I probably won't call this guy on the phone and ask him to perform an exorcism over the line.  I'm not buying what this guy is selling.
Wait!  He just phones it in?  And this on Coasttocoast. Huh.

All taxable income is taxed.  Even if somebody's only making $4,000 a year in taxable income, the feds still take 10%.  And if someone isn't making any income at all (those lucky ducks!) and therefore have no income to tax, they STILL pay sales tax and other taxes in almost all states, and at a much higher percentage of their funds than you do with yours (unless you're strangely spending hundreds of thousands of dollars a year on taxed goods), and a much, much, MUCH higher percentage than those making millions or billions of dollars a year.

So the government still gets a good percentage of the money these "moochers" spend, and virtually every dime they have to spend goes right back into the economy, making rich people richer.  And giving rich people an even higher income to tax, those poor bastards!

I will invest and I want a part in the movie.  I want a percentage of the yearly gross as my renumeration.  Deal?

DEAL!  Who do you want to play?

Note that I am reserving the role of the Scarecrow for George Noory.

Jorch has an astounding head of hair, if you like seeing a dead animal's pelt covered with black Kiwi polish on top of his head.  I wonder if it's from a squirrel or a beaver.  Maybe he whacked goatsy.

Yeah, but does the carpet match the drapes?

Jorch could actually cover three main characters.  Brainless, heartless, and a scaredy cat, although I really picture him as a flying monkey.

Not so.

For an Individual, the Standard Deduction was $6,100 in 2013.  $12,200 for those Married and Filing Joint.  Personal Exemptions were $3,900 for each person, spouse, and dependent.

Government handouts - cash and services (housing, food stamps, Medicare, etc) are not taxed at all.  This isn't counted when calculating the poverty rate either.

Then there is the Earned Income Credit and the Child Care Credit for those with children, and Education Credits for students.  They are dollar for dollar reductions in tax on a Federal income tax return.

When they say half of us don't pay any Federal income tax, believe it.

Ha!  I'm just praying poor 'lil Goatsy didn't take the hit and Jorch just moved his sideburns to the top of his head and filled in the gaps with some black Kiwi.  Pray for Goatsy!

Yeah, but will we be able to get a PG rating if Jorchy flies out of Goatse's ass?

Were you here last year when Jorch was posting as Gnoory?  Oh, those were the days.  Art had just announced he was coming back, sigh, and Jorch popped into the forum, to be eaten alive by most of the Gabbers, although there were some fanboys.  A certain aquatic mammal comes to mind.  I think even he has pretty much thrown in the towel on Jorch.   Art even showed-up and called-out The Nooron on some stuff.  Such hilarity.

I would fully expect, as a minimum, PremRat staffers are regularly checking-out the GNS thread, if for nothing else, some laughs to ease the pain of Noory.  Hello, you poor bastards!

That time blows anything Jorch normally does out of the water.  Yes, what a freaking moron. :))  Even adding Goatsy to his bogus prayer list!  Thank you , Bateman, you hilarious genius!
