As long as PremRat is making whatever they deem to be an acceptable profit margin, they'll continue to churn out C2C crap.  Myself?  I'll be listening to Art as soon as he's back on air.  I prefer a quality product.  Not some unimaginative, boring show with a talentless corporate hack for it's make-believe host.  Others can go with that selection.

Not that I consider myself a member of the "Bellgab Family" as I'm relatively new here but didnt someone on here point out awhile back that George posting on another forum caused it to split into two groups and finally the forum dried up and died because of infighting?

Morgus, for one, pointed out a similar MO was used by the PremRat corporate Borg on the Fantastic Forum.  I wouldn't be too concerned, though, about this forum.  Art's return will soon shift the focus of this forum and MV runs a pretty good ship.

Just watched the video clip of sad sack Pvt Ed Lames in a leisure suit being interviewed by fat Tommy in a precursor for Beyon Bleef.  Ed has been wrong about everything and dolt George will no doubt refer to creepy boy as "Doctor Doom" about 700 million times.  Anyway, dumb George must drag fat Tommy to Colorado and all the other dopey events wiggy attends.  I swear, that mental midget cannot manage one damn thing on his own.  Poor fat Tommy is afraid he'll be fired and denied his monthly allowance in Twinkies if he ever turns idiot George down.

Okay, as lonevoice already explained quite clearly, Art was obviously NOT communicating with George Noory - Art has a dozen more private ways to do that if he feels he needs to. Art was communicating with us, explaining to us that George Noory had never contacted him, contrary to what Team Noory was telling us here via the "GNoory" posts. It has nothing to do with Art thinking Noory is genuinely posting here. Art gives a shit: he just wants to counter any lies put out on behalf of Noory, which is what Art was doing with his last two posts. End of story.

Much of the time, George doesn't seem focused on the show, or even to be listening.  I think it's because he's doing other things - googlling something the guest just said, scanning for 'breaking news', playing cards with Tommy - hell I don't know, watching movie trailers and catching up on celeb gossip.

The point is, he's always doing something else.  In this case that something else is posting here.

He's been preoccupied by trying to get to level 2 on Candy Crush.

If George is being truthful that group think turns out a show that has more listners, more affiliates, is in more markets, has more stream link member, etc than ever before. Not to mention the show appeals to more people than ever with their diverse guest and split shows. Also according to george people spend more time actually listening to the show than ever.

The Arbitron radio ratings are a closely guarded secret, unlike the Neilson TV ratings.  So anyone can claim to be the biggest, fastest growing, etc, show, claim anything for number of listeners, and no one can call them on it.

As far at steam-link, that's a PremRat corporate secret.

From 2011... “Coast to Coast AM... is heard by nearly three million weekly listeners.“

Those numbers are weekly cumulatives, not the nightly number.  The 4.5m 'per night' is actually weekly.

At it's height when Art was hosting, C2C was said to have over 15 million weekly listeners

So from the late 90s (15m/wk) to 2006 (4.5m/wk) to 2011 (under 3m/wk), they aren't exactly setting the world on fire.  And every time they lose a major station, they need to pick up several smaller stations to provide the same coverage - so we can't go by number of affiliates.

And as far as 'active listeners', what makes more sense - most of Arts listeners listening to the whole show or most of George's?  Who is the better interviewer, had the better guests, and, frankly, the more intelligent audience and callers?  Clearly, more of Arts listeners listened to the whole show.

George has ruined the show and the audience has cratered.  Which is apparently what PremRat wanted.

Yessir. I am ex-military service member. If I never served in the Army, then I would never be but a fraction of a man I am today. Maybe that's why I view things the way I do, I just don't know.
But I know what I like, and that man, does NOT have all of us in his best interests. But that is just my opinion, and I'm entitled to it, just as anyone else may be.
