George Noory Sucks! - The Definitive Compendium

Can Noory pronounce anything correctly?

No
No

You gotta love a guy in coconuts. Not all guys can pull off that look.

I don't expect that we will see Snoorz here again.  I'll bet he or his staff reads this and takes note.  I'm torn because I really don't want help him. That said, basically he should change everything. Lately, the overmicked laughs and grunts are distracting.  Also the clueless-Joe Sixpack misfired questions, other than that there's all the stuff we have pointed out for thousands of pages.

I'm thinking more and more about a little trip to the big island this winter.  The town of Volcano is super cool.

Got sirius radio for the lap tops yesterday only $4 addition to what we pay for it in one car.  And, heard an ad today for Art's new show.

So, has George showed up lately?

Not in, uh, ten years.
So, I was in Safeway today and started thinking maybe George and Tommy have a Fred and Barney relationship.  But, then they both have jobs that they do well, wives that love them, and pet dinosaurs, so not a lot there. Except there has got to be an abusive part in this relationship--I mean does Tommy hit George or vice versa?  Who threatens who?

Nope.  He's just been creeping around and taking a few peeps, now and then, apparently.

Torgo!  Manos, Hands of Fate....  Ah, the classics never get old.

He should not have come in the first place.  He should have been provided a professional by Premiere to help him with these issues.  So, me thinks he is getting paid very poorly.

Volcano is nice.  The time I went over for that wedding it was on the Big Island.  Spent a couple weeks in the Laupahoehoe area and a couple weeks diving off Kona.  Love the Big Island, but Kauai as well.

Big Brother.....    I thought George didn't like big brother tactics!  Is Alex watching his account?

Good point!

Hey BM,

What do you pay a month for just the car portion?

No Dave lately - posting anyway - he still lurks.

I heard about 4 dollars.  For some reason it was easier to extend to more channels and get it on the laptop than to get a radio, which is how we listen anyway.  I dont know the monthly total; I will ask at dinner.

I gave you the upgrade not the car.  Misread, I will find out and get back to you.

Sharp as a tack Aldous!

I lied; it was 9 a month originally for one car--we got the lowest bec we just listen to sports and then upgraded to satellite via getting more channels, so the total is 20; which is far more than 4.  I guess I should pay attention when people are talking to me.

LOL.

Thanks for the info BM.  At $20 a month, I'd have to call Dave and try to get on his "Dave Noorie's help the lissner Charity Fund List (tm)".  Do you think he'll give me money if I tell him its to pay for Sirius so I can listen to Art?

Hey George, c'mon back.  Most people were polite when you posted here before.  We still have questions.

Here's one:  is English your first language?

I ask because your pronunciation ranges from 'a word well practiced and learned' to 'unable to pronounce'.  Reading t news aloud is at grade school level a lot of the time.  There is a lack of understanding of too many words, and so many idioms and expressions.

One of the last things anyone gets in a second language is humor.  Getting and telling a joke seems difficult for you.

None of this is meant to be a criticism - I'd just like to know.  Not everyone is from here or grows up in a house where English is spoken.

Here are a few more questions:  are you going to do anything special on the show of the 16th to try to draw listeners in after Art's debut?

Are you planning to listen to any of his shows?  The first one?   I would think so  - he is a giant in your industry (surely you love radio?) and he gave you your once in a lifetime opportunity.

I am sure because he is non-judgmental.  Except, if you call him "chicken butt,"  then he becomes like a cornered rabid raccoon.  No one gets defensive like George.

I put a remark on MU's facebook saying that we were glad for MU and then made a nasty comment about George.  I forgot, it was my husband's Facebook page, and he is always saying, don't post with my initials.  So, now there is a cheery photo of he and I in front of a cub, next to my comment about George and vomit.

Mrs. Nolan was home last night, so I missed almost all of the show. I caught this WTF gem, though.

Grandpa Munster (or Morgus): "Glad to be on your program!"
George Noory: "Likewise."

He says that a lot.  And, every time I think is he happy to be on his own show?  Or, does the other person have a show going on simultaneously?

Dear Tommy,

Please read the post below to George.  When he's done trying to understand the questions please tell him what his answers should be so that the intern can log on here and share, so we can then all quit holding our farts from anticipation of what must surely be some absolutely amazing answers that will flow from the cornucopia of cutting edge discourse that is your twinkie infested den of suckatological vexations.  Heh, just kidding dad. (about the cutting edge)

So george, are you still planning on being a guest on MV's Podcast?

starrmtn001

Maybe, I should be asking MV whether he still wants george on his Podcast.

MV, do you still want george on your Podcast?

It's hard to beat luscious tree ferns next to volcanic craters and fresh lava floes.  I know a really cool place with outdoor showers in the tree fern forest.  I digress.

Is Laupahoehoe that valley where the Hawaiians still live?  Its kind of near Akaka ( or whatever) falls.  I love that area.

Kauai is great too.  George Harrison had the right idea.  Snorkeling in the rain is so cool.

Maybe someone will research the famous studio and post it's location.  We could drive by on google maps or someone could check it out while in the area.  I would if I go over there.

Question for George: How about that studio?

Host:

John B. Wells

Guests:

Professor Griff

Filling in for George, John B. Wells will welcome rapper, spoken word artist, and member of Public Enemy, Professor Griff, who will expose the Illuminati's take over of hip hop and how they use music and popular culture as mind control over society.

SERIOUSLY?????? THIS IS A SHOW!!!
I think george is afraid of doing any show expecially open lines after interviewing the fraud Oates on Thursday, so Nooron is ducking out on Friday.

Next John B Wells is going to have LL Cool J on talking about domestic violence and cases of momma knocking people out

I was snoozing to Snoory last night and was surprised to hear a little pushback to Art.  He made a plea to Facebook followers. C2C would go to the next "plateau" if just 74 more would "like".  Then he went to bumper, the Stones' Play With Fire.  Take that, I guess.

lol

SaucyRossy

My guess is the grand experiment failed and once George realized shout outs and fake placations wouldn't appease the majority here he abandoned the mission. Also there has been some really harsh (albeit funny) jokes made at his expense lately and I am sure that plays a factor.

And finally, HOW does he respond to what Art posted on his Facebook page about Noory??? If he fights back against what Art said it creates a clear line in the sand and George relies on the ignorance of the current audience. George is in quite the pickle really and with Art's show starting soon I'd bet he thinks his best strategy is to ignore reality and not face his critics. When if he wanted to get fired up about things he'd come out swinging and make some sweeping changes and really differentiate himself and the current iteration of coast to coast.

The fact is he is lazy, he's admitted it himself here, and he has no imagination on how to make the show fresh and how to make it fun to listen to again. Well, he will have a far better idea when his producers and him listen to Art's first weeks of shows and take notes.

George I do wish you still would post, I said from day one consistency is how you prove you are working on changing. Shit gets tough and you run away.
Art sees you and your show as competition. He's fired up. Time to see if you have it in you.

I don't believe you do though because let's face it, Art is the master.
