Hey, MV! Loved the podcast and hearing your viewpoints on recent events. You are a nice guy (really a nice guy, not Dave Noorie nice I mean). I am clicking ad links like crazy to try and send some love your way. It was lots of fun hearing the voices of some of the posters as well.

it reminds me exactly of what happened 10 years ago when Noory showed up at the original Fantastic Forum, trying to get the 'haters' to switch sides.

the difference is how the moderators respond.  at the ff, they went bat shit crazy trying to "clean" the place up and make it palatable when george dropped in.  it destroyed the forum.  bellgab is not run by those moderators, so no changes are being made.  the forum is what it is.

I agree with the sentiments of General Jameson, but since we all appear of like mind here in our attitudes toward Coast to Coast (apart from the occasional trolling), I don't know what can be gained by insulting or being rude to Noory when he comes online.  I came here because I was frustrated with Coast to Coast and I stayed for the comedy.  But at some point I decided I wished I could make a change. 

Now I don't see Noory really wanting to make that change.  Don't misquote me on this.  But, this is the only opportunity I have to squeeze blood out of a stone.  If Noory wants to divide us but finds he can't, maybe just maybe he'll listen to some respectful comments.  If his intentions are sound so much the better.  Noory said he won't stay if we ask him to go.  If we are united in thinking his intentions are bad we should ask him to leave.  If not we should see if we turn this so-called psyop around and be the ones to plant suggestions in his head.

Thanks General.  Amazing what a little "high strangeness" from the last few days can do for bringing a smile and more than a few laughs. 

"I'm not Art" can do what he wants.  He's going to anyway, with PremRat's approval.  As usual, his timing is off and his motives suspect.  With Art's return, it's his time, not Dave's.  Dave would do well to continue to wish Art well and leave it at that.  Anything else just sets of a "Warning.... Will Robinson" alarm.

It took a lot of nerve for George to come here and post, and to be as civil as he has been. 

I agree, I give him props for making the effort, and especially for not getting troll-baited into an ugly flame war.  However he only seemed kind of half-interested in what we had to say and also was a bit smug in throwing around how he saved the show and how great his ratings are.  I didn't see alot of thoughtfulness in his responses, they seemed a bit flippant to me.  But I guess it shows he's at least partially open to some new ideas which is a good thing.

I saw the "until I'm 90" post too.  However his contract, as with any, is only as good as his last ratings and/or review.  They could get out of it at the drop of a hat probably, if they wanted to.

Getting back for a moment to an-noory-ing things, I just finished listening to (all I could take of) the show from two nights ago with Dean Radin on human consciousness. Radin went into an explanation of the siddhis, with examples of these special abilities said to be achieved through meditation. Not too long afterward, following a couple of other discussions, George says, "You write about siddhis. What are they."
That's when I turned it off. Jeez!

He's put a seed of doubt in many a poster's head. Can he change? Is he sincere? How quickly people forget 10 years. As much as most of us can't believe it, Noory likely does have some fans out there, and there's a good chance there going to be infesting this thread, after all it's bonus George Time. Ignoring him is the best solution, but to truly ignore him we have to stop coming to this forum. So I repeat. THE Motherfucking dickhead has already won. Don't believe me. Well, keep listening to coast each night for his shoutouts or hints of improving Coast. Each time you listen, for whatever reason, Snoory and Premrat win. I for one just plan on enjoying Art's new show come Sept. 16 and hope my memories of Noory just fade into the desert night.
