I can see that many here have never been sued. Trust me, legal fees can be crippling no matter how ridiculous the case.

It would seem unfair for him to sue anybody since he has taken on the definition of public figure by choice.  If nobody threatened him harm but just criticized his poor antics it seems un-actionable.  He's done so many inappropriate things for a man in the field of talk radio that I  believe, and maybe I'm wrong, that it is okay to criticize him.  It's all true after all

I absolutely hate that stupid clip of the guy telling the story of the car crash.  It is not funny at all to me, maybe others like it, but it is just irritating as Hell to me...

I can't help but wonder if those of you who said they don't find George's voice all that bad listened to the whole video.  I've stated here myself that I thought his singing voice was pretty good after hearing him sing his Elvis song, which he at least has pegged to a suitable key for his voice, but now that I've experienced the other two songs he sang, I've done a 180.

This was a painfully embarrassing experience for me on his behalf.  I cannot imagine what would make someone put on the performance he did and apparently have no clue that this should never, ever be done again.  He did, mercifully, just give up on the second song, but went on to even lower depths with the third.

The man has something wrong with way more than his voice. 

Yes, he's a perfect example of clueless hubris and false humility, and being surrounded by either yes-men enablers or sniggering sycophants in on the joke.

Frankly, I believe that notice came from Tommy. After all, he's the one mentioned in the so called offending post, right? Is Tommy considered a public figure? Does he have cause? I think not. We hear him on the air with jorch. Jorch talks about him on air. We see Tommys rotund form in many pictures taken with noory at public gatherings. Hell, he was wedged into that poor Chevy ragtop, in the parade, right there next to jorch. I'd say Tommy is, in fact, a public figure. How could you miss him??

OMG that was just painful to watch.  It was so awkward, you could hear all the nervous laughing as the audience didn’t know if it was a joke, or supposed to be serious singing.

I kept thinking of Bill Murray on SNL when he used to do that campy lounge singer character.  This crap wouldn’t even work on a low budget cruise ship with a free-flowing “ohnpen” bar.

No punctuation, the incorrect useage of "to" rather than "too", it could be Jorch.  I don't know what time zone you're in, MV, but if it's Eastern, the timestamp on your email coincides pretty closely with the wanking troll post on the Art Bell thread, which was 3:36 PM (Eastern) this afternoon.  Art logged in earlier today within about 15-30 minutes following that post.   My theory stands that someone planted that post and brought it to Art's attention to try to make this forum look bad to him.    They may not have realized that Keith Rowland has been lurking here pretty regularly and knows what we're about.

Jorch may have overplayed his hand with all the crap, especially the humiliation of Spike Mike last night.  Before Art retired from full-time C2C status, the FF was his go-to forum.  He gave them a shout out almost every night.  Then, when he retired, everyone who wrote to him about missing him got an email from Art telling them to "Stay tuned to Fantastic Forum."   Art had a close relationship with that forum back in the day, and I suspect he thought quite well of Spike Mike.

Noory may have actually gotten the hammer dropped on him today by the man himself.

I'm as suspicious as anyone else here about the reasons behind and the sincerity of Dave's sudden about-face regarding Art, though I'm weirdly not surprised by it. I do believe it was damage control ordered from above, or perhaps--just perhaps--there's been some sort of behind the scenes cease-fire agreement. (though it certainly still looks petty and bad on Dave's/Coast's end regardless, in terms of their attitude and reactions prior to tonight). But for now at least I'm considering it over, unless and until further douchery on their part (not Art's) comes to light. We know Dave sucks and has taken Coast down. But Art's coming back. I'm just going to celebrate that--and hope that Knapp at least does both shows. Bye, Dave. Welcome back, Art!

Seems the only answer if no Jeorge evil is involved in the CoastGab mention would be that it too was mentioned/ORDERED from higher up the food chain? Am I that far out in asking that question?
