I used to get angry, then depressed about the state of C2C. This morning reading the GNS posts, a zen-like sense of peace came over me. I don't mind that GNS anymore. The anger is gone. Art is coming back and I just don't care what those idiots do. Slaughter the english language, put out a mediocre product, do what you will. It doesn't matter. My despair has lifted and it feels so good. I did not realize the depth of my outrage until I became aware it had floated away. We will soon have back something we loved and was stolen from us. Thank you Art for making this happen. Thank you.

Hmm, anyone know when Jeorge was born? Perhaps it's already happened. I'm more partial to him being the reincarnated mentally retarded Stooge that didn't make the cut when they chose Shemp, personally. Then again, he does come off as rather tortured and abused in his past life. I suppose he could have been born a bastard retard baby back in the 1800s, perhaps Siberia or Arkansas. His only friend was dirt as he was kept in the outhouse year round as he would have been an embarrassment to guests.

It's like when a person finally quits a job they hate, or right after getting out of a relationship that had turned sour..  The weight lifted from the shoulders and the sense of relief that it's finally over is almost intoxicating.

When Art was still host I'd almost always listen to the first hour, then either go to bed or listen to the rest depending on the guest or topic.  Same with the Snorge for his first few years. 

When I realized he was an idiot and was getting worse instead of better, I listened just because it was so overwhelmingly bad in a funny way.  George was pioneering unintentional comedy.  I probably listened to just as much if not more of the show for the humorous awfulness of it - it was even more fun because like-minded people were on forums like GLP first, then this one.  Then one day I realized I hadn't listened for a month or so, and never listened again.

If no one listens and posts, this thread will die and the Snorge will be forgotten - except every now and then there will be a reference to him or Coast, or his face will pop up on something like Ancient Aliens.  It will be interesting to see how or whether the Snorge and the GNS thread fades from view now that Art is back.
