Wtf is this?  A failed attempt at something, or a spoof, wtf?

Wtf?  But it was uploaded four years ago...

Maybe that explains why George is so mad.

"Not edgy enough." -- Art Bell
Damn it! I wish I'd included that in my response.

Bwahahaha

there are no coincidences.

looks like this was a paranormal anthology that never got off the ground.

The title Dark Matter is pretty funny and intriguing. Is Art's use now a slap in the face or not researching the title fully enough.

Either way, I am still on board for the ride.

I had these thoughts as well.
I certainly hope it is a slap in the face to that damn nooron.

I don't understand the part that says "It is these opinions which were made well known to the producers of "Coast to Coast AM" several months in advance of this evening's planned broadcast."

Are they trying to say they 'knew' about the opinions they didn't want on the show for 4 months?  If so, why did they decide just before show time to cancel it?  Or did they really not do a damn bit of research or show prep until prepping him the day of the show and only then discover there is a problem - in other words, are they lying about 'knowing' sumpthin' 4 months ago?  Or am I not understanding this poorly written sentence correctly?

I think sNooron came in to "prepare" for the show a couple hours before airtime and said, "No way! I'm not talking about this stuff."

I just noticed with the new format layout, this George Noory thread is under the "Art Stuff" section.
That doesn't seem right, how about moving all the non-Art stuff into a different section for non-Art stuff? ;)

Yeah, I remember those.  That lasted about as long as the POS-9X exercise thing.

If no one bought any DVDs, does it still count as something George did under that name?

I think George spends his days dreaming this stuff up - various very short lived TV shows, these DVDs, singing, books, his new pod-fomercial. conventions, he's probably always nagging his agent about sumpthin'.   His resume keeps getting tweaked and 'improving' when one reads it on whichever convention he's going to has it on their website so he must regularly work on that.

I doubt that the show would be any better had he spent his time doing show prep instead, and maybe he knows that so he doesn't bother with it anyway, but it might have been worth a shot.  Probably any show prep now would be tool little too late - for George and Coast we are finally at the beginning of the end.

wow the title was "Dark Matter w/ George Noory"
Noory keeps ripping title names from others just like he did with "Beyond Belief"  :P
and he always has to add "with George Noory" to everything too...  :o

There isn't a listing on IMDB (I didn't find one)... so pretty low rent... that sums up Dave well.

Watching this, George has a bit of his odd mannerisms and hand gestures, but not so much that they leap out.  This was from 4 years ago - has he been gesturing and waving his hands more than he used to, or have we just bee seeing more of him on video lately?

Gross motor movements, that appear to follow a purpose and are contextual, are not significant in diagnosing any mental condition I am aware of. Absence of them can be telling.

A couple of days ago, someone here brought up George's snottiness about age.  Remember that story he used to tell about asking Zachariah Stichen about his age and Z told him to fuck off.  He must have told that story about 8x a week for a while.  How about the horse farm that he used to have?  God forbid, I do not want to know what happened to that.  What about his book Sneaker in the Light?  Did he distribute the profits like he said he would?

RJ

On the the "I forgot to select an avatar" kid.  Where did you get the photo of Alex Jones ranting at such a young age?

that assumes there were any profits.
doubtful since they were giving away that book after awhile and his co-author Bill Birnes and  Noory apparently had a big following out afterwards...

Dark Matter apparently got off the ground enough for someone to review it.

About as far off the ground as those man-powered helicopters.

that's a relatively fresh picture of my daughter.  she's currently in morocco with her mom visiting family.  she bumped into the coffee table just before that picture was taken (in morocco).

yes, my daughter has hitler hair.

About as far off the ground as those man-powered helicopters.

So the producers of that show basically had Noory functioning as the Crypt Keeper or maybe Elvira.

He already acts like phone calls are trivia questions for him.  "Joe's in Cleveland ... which is East of the Rockies!"  "On the international line, Dennis is in Toronto and that, of course, is in Canada."  It's like the world's lamest geography bee.

Here's what's happening...

I just saw some article about an escaped exotic snake from a pet store strangling two little boys in Canada.  $20 gajillion dollars says Jorch gleefully covers this important news story tonight.
