George Noory Sucks! - The Definitive Compendium

Can Noory pronounce anything correctly?

No
No
Tonight's show is really dreadful so far.

Good grief!!!!! Another Nooron "How fash were you go-wen?" moment.

Jonathan Emord was relating his outrage over Braulio Castillo and how his company got $500 mil in contracts from the IRS based solely on special status his IT firm attained...due to a supposed foot injury he incurred decades ago in military prep school. Joanthan, I assume trying to elicit a reaction from our Dead-Air host, emphasized the amount again, "five...hundred...MILLION...dollars", to which Jorchie replied "How did he spend it?"

WHAT???

Not...the...POINT, you simpleton. Even Jonathan paused for a moment at that nonsense remark. What an IDIOT!

you'd think it would be extremely difficult to be that bad.  you'd be wrong.  if you asked George what he's REALLY been up to the last 12 years or so an honest answer would be ... converting oxygen to carbon dioxide.  and pissing people off

I accidentally threw the scissors I was holding into the ceiling fan when I heard that. I'm lucky to be alive.

So, The Hoaxster actually dumped Noory?  Serves Noory right for all the guests he's unceremoniously dumped.
No unfortunately he didn't dump him.
Hoagland's phone connection apparently dropped the call in the first half hour and Tommy had to call him back.
So after a couple minutes Hoagland was back claiming he could hear Noory better now, before that he said it was like he was talking from Saturn.
Hoagland continued for the rest of the 3 hours till the end of the show about artifacts on Mars..

Can always tell when George tries to freelance and get away from his carefully laid out cue cards.  He knows he shouldn't, that it can't come out well, yet he just can't help himself.

Thinking about this more, maybe this has to do with fence-straddler Jochie's reluctance to be critical of anyone. Can someone remember the last time he was outraged by anything?

George never confronts anyone. If he doesn't like the guest or caller he just hangs up on them.  :)

Doomed

I actually did listen to Hoaxland when he was on Tuesday night. It is quite evident that he (noory) is having trouble coping with Hoaxlands various gigs that are not associated with Coast. At one point noory asked Richard how many likes he had on his Facebook page. Dick answered, "Thousands".
I seem to remember noory asking folks to like his page as he needed a certain number to move to the next level. Next level? What the hell is that? He is now at level one, Doofus. Would he move up to level two, Complete Git?
All kidding aside, noory does seem to compete with Hoaxland and has problems dealing with him on, and off, the air. Maybe thats the angle PremRat is looking for. Put both of them on as co-hosts. I'd listen. Greatest trainwreck in the history of radio...

The triangle-shaped UFO portion of the show was pretty good.  The guest was well versed and sNoory kept his interruptions to a minimum.

Jonathan Emord on a Senate bill to regulate dietary supplements, sponsored by Dick Durbin, that failed get enough votes a few years back and it seems old Dick is threatening to bring it back from the dead.  Dick Durbin is the guy who likened our troops to nazis back when things were really bad in Iraq, with all those beheading videos, and that Zarqawi fellow was running around killing everyone, and half the congress wanted us to high tail it out of there, and Nancy Pelosi thought she had the power to redeploy our troops, because she forgot about the constitution, and that turd Harry Reid decided he'd inspire our troops, Churchill style, by declaring "the war was lost," and I swore then I'd never again vote for a ..anyway...Dick Durbin sucks.  David Marler on those triangle ufos.  He was somewhat interesting.  Memo to George:  what in God's name would "demons" need spacehips for?  Really, George, explain this to me.  I want to know.  I need to know.

Ah, the beauty of Zen George

Cherry Blossoms In April

How can you live, George?

I listened to a bit of Noory last night, long enough to hear him say, "You just never know" a couple times and then say, "It's like you always hear, 'You just never know'" (as though his words were being uttered by the masses).  The last call I remember towards the show's end was some blathering idiot saying that we all rely on George and the greatest program evah -- C2C -- that Noory would still be broadcasting after the end of the world, beacon of light and wisdom that he is.

Blech....

Funny how Tommy doesn't seem to be able to do this with a number of Noory's past guests.  ;)

I don't know if Jorch talked about it or if Alex Jones has, but during the flood in Calgary police were taking guns out of peoples houses.[/font]
Actually, we are all still dealing with the fallout from the floods.  I know that the High River RCMP took guns, but have yet to hear about CPS taking any.  I am a gun owner and would even go for concealed carry up here, but I do not really fault the RCMP.  The entire town of 13 000 was evacuated for well over a week and a half (they are saying up to 5 more weeks before all town residents will be back, even now.)  When you allow some people back and there is a risk of looting, it makes sense to not have houses with guns sitting out in the open (the RCMP say they only took ones that were spotted when going through looking for animals and doing assessments.)

Under public pressure (including the Prime Minister) they agreed to return them to residents who asked for them.  They would meet them at a check point and return them.  The thing is that many residents do not have a good place to store them and some are leaving them with the RCMP until they are back home.  There is not talk of pressing charges for unsafe storage and as much as the news hit a nerve at first, when you think about empty houses in an abandoned town having thousands of firearms just waiting for somebody to take the actions make sense...

This has been an issue from day 1. Hoagland has always talked to George like he's talking to a kid and George hates it. RCH tries to run the show, tells George when to break,  asks George science-y questions he knows Snoory can't answer. RCH has zero respect for George.

Yes, hoaxland is a beacon of scientific enlightenment.

I think George could be correct about the feather. There is a chance it would go backwards since you are creating a tiny vacuum trailing your foot/leg as its returning from the kick that will probably suck the feather. On the kick it would stick to your leg and drop down (so it went forward) or get sucked back (return to starting position, maybe go negative). If it was on Earth. I didn't listen so not sure of the details. I am not educated in science so I may have butchered that.

I am sure that is exactly what George though too.  ;)

VtaGeezer

In the good ol' days of C2C, the 4th of July show would have been about apparitions of the Founding Fathers' ghosts, or Ben Franklin's UFO encounters some similar Independence Day-themed offbeat topics; not yet another night of govt conspiracy crap.

I have to agree.  You can't be certain what the feather will do unless it's somehow in a vacuum, but I wasn't listening at that point.

Judging from the recent comments here this seems to be the common perception, but I never got that myself.  It seemed to me George was just trying to go along with Hoagland for the sake of the program, but not really antagonistic -- and Hoagland just has a somewhat condescending personality anyway when trying to elevate himself as a scientific authority which he is not.  I'll have to make a note of listening for it next time Hoagland is on.

Finally!!!! A show about the evil government. Noory NEVER has this type of show!

Morgus

Noory always plays the same old music every year on holidays.
Like right now he is playing God Bless America by Kate Smith, from the 1950s.
Noory seems to only know the music he heard at home as a little kid in the 50s...

I've noted Hoagie seems to be more condescending with Noory than he was with Art.  Hoagie would toy with Art and Art would play along but I don't recall any disrespect of Art.  The Hoaxster recognizes Noory for pretty much being the moron he is but I think he tries not to push it too much for fear of losing his C2C gig.

Glad I'm not listening.  SyFy is doing it's Twilight Zone marathon so I'm watching it.  Even though I've seen most of the episodes numerous times, an over half-century classic in black and white is still much better than The Nooron.   I even watched "To Serve Man" earlier, just for Jorch.  ;)
