Can Noory pronounce anything correctly?

I hope anyone planning to listen to Jones tonight has had a rabies shot. I think its a disgrace putting that toxic clown on tonight. Bad enough that cable news has made the tragic but thankfully small Boston bombing into 9/11 II.  I wouldn't be surprised to hear from Wells and Quayle too.

I'm glad to see others think about Alex Jones as I do.  From forums I've read before he seemed to be hailed as some sort of hero.

gnoory: I'll let you in on a secret...sometimes..just sometimes..I will put them on hold to go back to them...and my over zealous call screener has deleted them. I've had a talk with them...and now they promise NOT to do that

Lately, I have been astounded to hear some callers held over and ask a followup after the guest starts speaking.  I always expect Noory to say something like 'he's listening off the air' but instead the caller chimes back in.  It's a little unnerving thinking about George getting anxiety attacks when he realizes he forgot to hang up.  Do you think he could be turning over a new leaf in at least that small way?

No.

Is George going to  challenge Alex Jones tonight?  Or will he sit there meekly and agree with everything Jones alleges about the Boston Marathon bombings being a government job?

George said other journalists don't know how to stop interjecting themselves into the story, unlike old school journalists such as himself.
I heard that too, it was incredible how Noory didn't realize he is even worse than the examples a caller mentioned like Wolf Blitzer on CNN.
Noory is always talking about himself to tell a personal story and even did it last night trying to interrupt a caller several times...

Morgus

Noory got onto a soap box talking about the death penalty near the end of the show last night too.
He said they don't talk about that or things like abortion, yet he went ahead and did it anyway.
Guess he just doesn't let callers talk about that but its ok for him?
He told the woman at the end who saw him on the Beyond Belief TV show and said he lost weight, that she had a 'good eye' :D

Morgus

Noory last night claimed the only reasons he cuts off a caller are due to drunkeness or profanity.
Not due to disagreeing with his core beliefs, like abiotic oil.
Yet he does cut off guests early without any warning if they disagree with his beliefs...

I'm sure Jorch will add his usual, insightful commentary, such as "amaz'n!" and "whut about portals, Alex?"  ::)

Sleepwalker

I'm guessing an obedient Renfield (George) will sit there and eat bugs while Dracula (Jones) spews his paranoid, conspiratorial idiocy.

If he actually did cut callers off due to drunkedness, most Open Lines segments would be two hours of crickets.

I'm going with choice b, and in addition, in the upcoming weeks he'll have Marathon Truthers on as guests, because far be it from Jorch to challenge anyone including Alex Jones even after the guy lied to him once, and on another occasion made a frantic phone call to the show from the Bilderburg convention telling Jorch his life was being threatened.

I notice he's still here.  ::)

I don't mind the topics Alex Jones talks about, because I find conspiracy stories interesting and I'll never fault someone for being hyperskeptical about what the government, or anyone with money or power, says.

I do hate his style though.  He's so full of himself and he loves making himself part of the  story.  I caught 10 minutes of his show today, and someone crank called him and told him to look up a video that was supposed to show police leaving a bomb or something like that.  When he checked out the video and it wasn't that, he didn't say the caller was pranking him, he called him a disinformation agent going after him because he was telling the truth.

The same with the Bilderberg hotel call to George, it was all about how a fire alarm was pulled to get him off the air.

Alex Jones isn't about exposing the truth, he's about inserting himself into every story because he likes to think he's so important that the Illuminati or whoever are out to silence him.

George will be adding the normal 'gawsh', 'jeez', 'incredible', 'we could fee-lit, sumpthin's goin' on', pointless commentary.  Probably his usual gleeful nervous 'haw, haw, haw' laugh from time to time whenever injuries or kids are mentioned.

Someone really ought to tape it, edit it, and send it to a real news orgaization from the point of view of what goes on at night.  Doesn't the public ultimately own the airwaves - maybe a campaign of complaints to the FCC based on this abuse of the ariwaves would finally rid us of the Snorge.

I wish there were a portal to Bizarro World where George Noory is an excellent host with great journalistic integrity and Alex Jones makes rational observations with the goal of building a stronger America.  I started thinking this is the Bizarro World but then I realized the sad truth is that there's a lot of money to be made appealing to those with poor critical thinking skills.

It wouldn't rid us of George but it might get a disclaimer thrown in saying the program was for entertainment purposes only.  I have postulated your suggestion myself, but in the end such a disclaimer would only make the show more annoying.

Jones has found a lucrative niche pandering to those who are truly deep into conspiracy paranoia.  I recall that a few years ago when Art B was standing in for Noory, a caller mentioned Jones was going to be Noory's guest. (I forget the context.) Bell said he wouldn't put Jones on the air.  I wonder how much Noory's giving Jones frequent air time on C2C has had to do with helping him grow an audience, his recent rise and his getting own AM radio show.

that brings up another difference with Noory vs Bell.
Art Bell always said on the air he was only a "talk show host" and the show was for etertainment only.
Noory last night referred to himself as a 'journalist' and what he learned studying journalism in college, so he seems to think c2c is a news program?  :o

Well, there was a host by the name of Art who could entertain us for hours, with somebody such as Michio Kaku.   Then PremRat took over to bring to life what you've described in your second sentence....."From the city of angels off the Pacific Ocean......... I'm Jorch Nooree."  :P

The major was "Tabloid Jounalism."  That is like the Enquirer type stories which fits right in with C2C.
"Alien eats Family of Four."  and so forth, you get the story.

Tonight has the possibility of being an important night in the show's history. Alex Jones is the guest and we all know that Jones has acheived a much higher profile given his comments after Sandy Hook about guns and his much publicized Govt Conspirarcy Theories. I suspect that if Jones makes inflamatory comments about the bombings in Boston it will likely be picked up by other media outlets tomorrow. Noory had better be careful because if he offers a safe harbor for Jones's nuttiness without much pushback Noory runs the risk of making C2C a national joke and embarrassment...( yeah i kmow maybe too late) My personal opinion is that C2C has already crossed the line in seemingly endorsing the Black Helicopters mentality. I absolutely have no problem with the show offering a forum to this line of thinking provided the guests are engaged by the host and an actual discussion takes place. I've always loved the fact that Coast offers people with alternative views a public forum/hearing....without ridicule and condemnation but over the last few years guests are no longer being intellectually challenged to defend their positions. Don't get me wrong...there's no real reason per se in calling the guy who saw Bigfoot a liar or a crackpot but when guests are exposing dangerous, irresponsible views on REAL WORLD subjects like say Medical treatments and Government intentions/False Flag operations...I do expect a respectful inquiry as to where these views are coming from and a review of the supporting "facts". I'll be curious what all of you have to say about the show

George Noory is to journalism what Ted Baxter is to news anchoring.

I think Noory did not pester Art. And Art had been married 2 times before the current wife.I believe Art does not want to speak with him and I think that recent remarks from Noory are insulting to Art. Noory can never come near Art's greatness as a host. Noory is no journalist. How can he be? He is NOT interested in anything.

Ted Baxter is a joke and a good one. But Ted was a good person. That show was my favorite.

George Noory is the perfect real world Ted Baxter.  I made that joke when I first joined but no one responded.

I agree.  I would hate to see the government close down a talk show but if Noory and Jones are as crazy as many of think they will be,  the PremRad people just might be getting a visit from the FBI/Homeland Security.  If it got rid of Noory I suppose that even that might be worth it.

George knows he will never be an Art Bell, so he will always resent him even though he handed him a winning lottery ticket.

George: "Christian, I wanna ask you a story."
