Corny asked why Noory stopped giving Art Bell a shoutout in his list of names at the end of the show.
Noory told him that Art emailed him a few years back to please stop mentioning his name, so he did so.

There was a pretty whacked-out guest a couple weekends ago, on w/ Syrett or maybe Church, I can't remember which.  In any case he talked about how some reptoids get the munchies for humans, especially the young ones.  He described this in some stomach-churning detail.  I was feeling bad for George since he must've felt like he missed a great story.

I can't listen to Church or Syrett. Schrader and Knapp are the only shows I consider listening to on C2C.

There is a tentative consensus building among a small minority that Syrett has improved and is actually kind of ok.  Church is still generally avoided, although I can handle in small doses.  Please note I have low standards these days so factor that in.

Good stuff.  Very funny.  Thanks for posting.  We've speculated about guests reactions to George's shitty interviewing ''style', I think most of them don't want to make enemies needlessly and don't talk about it.

I liked the part about Lease-a Lion.  George's staff has to know he sucks, but what can they do other than quit.

Yeah - I had warning so I covered my ears but he does this a lot.  It is so aggravating & unnecessary.  There are ways to broadcast the info without being obscene.  For starters, he should have said "typical house pet" instead of cat, which would have reduced listener's trauma enormously by making it impossible to really visualize the trauma.

E.M.D.R. is a therapy technique to help reduce the trauma of the memory (but of course keeping the empathy/sympathy).  I don't have clinical info on how to do it, but you could read about it & try winging it.  THERE IS NO INVOLVEMENT OF DETAILING OR DESCRIBING THE TRAUMATIC MEMORY, SO the therapy is trauma-free.

YOU TUBE IS THE BEST SOURCE TO SEE HOW THIS WORKS.

I have a lot of traumatic memories regarding animal injuries & deaths from a rural area cars as well as vicious dogs.  Deputies were useless, never putting the poor things out of their misery, even for days.  Wildlife agencies sometimes helped, but not on several occasions.  The lack of response was utterly cruel, basically waiting for another car to do the creature in.  Anyhow, I sometimes just move my eyes left & right when the memories arise, and the eye movement seems to calm the memories down.  Scientists say when eyes move, the process information & by moving the eyes, some re-processing occurs.

Hope this isn't too weird or boring, but I know it has helped me with obscenity from things like George says.  I just kind of do EMDR the homemade way.  But don't laugh; it helps.
