I'll see to it that you get a sweet rank & expect you to display it with pride, ma'am.  Good times.   8)

Sweet! Edited to add: The party is over at the Blitz.

Has anybody here ever put up the entire list of stock questions Noory asks every guest?  I know it would likely fill an entire page.

1."What, to you, is the most important thing?"
2."Why did you get interested in this in the first place?."

There must be dozens more.

And then there are the subset of stock questions he asks to specific types of guests.

Scientists
1."The 'Big Bang' does anybody really understand it?"
2."I don't want to call it God, but...?"
If you have any more to add, just please don't laugh after posting it. Seriously, I will kill you otherwise.

3. (Insert subject here). What's your take on that?
4. Of all the (insert appropriate term here) you came across in your research, what's the one that really stands out for you?
5. Where can people get your book?
6. What's next for you?

8. Where's all this headed?
9. This is all just amazing isn't it?
10. Will we ever get the answers?

Kojiro

12. I'm convinced that <insert Noory's opinion of something>.

sNoory is in excellent form tonight. He's better than he has been in weeks. What a positive change! He's been mostly silent while LMH has been talking and schooling him on matters related to science. It has been a blissful listening experience.

Thank you for your silence, sNoory, your beautiful silence.

14. Could it it be an angel/demon/portal?

That's why I'm giving it a listen tonite.  The nice combo of LMH's interesting stories and George's limited involvement.

15. Imagine you're in charge, and can do whatever you like - How would you solve this?
16. If Einstein had a computer/smartphone, what might he have accomplished?
17. Do you like what you do?
18. Do you ever feel like giving up, or are you optimistic?
19. How about a website where people can contact you?

Would it be safe to say that these stock questions make up about half of all the questions that Noory asks and probably well over half of all his (relatively few) non follow up questions?

SnoorysStache

16. "Does this look infected to you?" Oops - sorry that's what sNoory says to Tommy.

Damn I didn't know Linda asked such good questions.

I like Linda as a reporter, but I think her understanding of Relativity needs some work.

akwilly

George if you are reading this take notes from Linda on what questions to ask if you ever get the chance to interview a REAL scientist.

17. but what if we are all alone. I don't think thats possible?

But compared to Noory, she's relatively good.   ::)  Ok, that was awful.  Anyway I miss you guys on this ridiculous thread.  Feeling myself getting pulled back in.  Like a spaceship circling a black hole.

Now Noory playing Start Me Up by the Stones.  The hits keep coming.  At least we can be thankful he didn't play the end of the song where Mick sings, "You make a dead man cum!"

So first he romances her with "Time after time ... I'm so lucky to be loving you", then cranks it up a notch to some of that edgy new rock n' roll stuff.  George the ol' smoothie, really knows how to work his magic on a lady.

Noory just asked Linda if she would be back next month and didn't have any other commitments then.
Is he maybe worried she might be scheduled to be on Art's new show then?

We miss you too Zeebo, and the little bit of sanity you bring to this place.

Does anyone remember the Brian Fellowes Safari Planet sketches on Saturday Night Live? Tracy Morgan played a wildly enthusiastic but incredibly dumb guy who knew nothing at all about animals but had an animal program. Listening to Noory tonight made me think of  that.Who describes a rhea as a velociraptor and not like an ostrich but smaller?

Great comparison!!! Dave IS the Brian Fellowes of Talk Radio!

The Jedi squirrel is needed to battle the dark force of Dave.  His death star of suckage continues to stumble around the night.
