... I don't think Led Zeppelin were evil or anything like that but they sure were open to the occult.

I thought that was more the Page side of Zep, whereas Plant was more into like old Celtic mysticism and such.  Whatever it was there was a cool mix of light/dark elements that made for some great stuff.

Noory was reminiscing about dressing up like Zorro Nooro for Halloween.  So, whatever, it's an excuse to repost this.

Yep, El Nooro returns to strike (suck?) again and terrorize the neighborhood...  :P

Yeah that was more Page than Plant.  Jones, I don't know but Bonzo was a bloke that looked like he enjoyed the pub a lot which he no doubt did.  Nothing mystical about him.

I have all of Zep's music too and while I would call myself a Christian, the occult also draws me but no black masses, thank you very much.  :-*

Thanks for piping up, I forgot who made the original - which is hilarious so no apologies necessary.  As for me, I can only take credit/blame for the turkee sammich addition.

It wasn't me.  My version never made it to Bellgab.  It's probably best as a communal effort though.

I remember watching black Sabbath members in a documentary saying they were just kids and really didn't approve of the dark stuff some people were doing.

Couple of them said a few weird things happened early on and they promptly stopped anyone doing any black stuff that they saw of. They said they didn't like dark stuff from those early days.

Mick Jaeger had a short period, I think it was influenced by Kenneth Anger, but he gave it up too. Led Zep never was into dark stuff, they were more into paganism and both liked Leadbelly too.

It is stupid to mess with the dark stuff, opens and invites the many demonic lifeforms. A strong will can stop most provocations, being knocked out by drink or drugs is a backdoor for them though.

George kept saying to the morons who wanted to shoot Bigfoot yes Bigfoot might be dangerous and evil.

Tonight just before signing off he said he wasn't so sure and didn't like them shot but repeated what those greedy idiots said as justification for killings.

I think jorchy has been getting flak for the Kill Bigfoot debacle. He is becoming more immoral the more he spends time in L.A. He has a complex about wanting to be on t.v., he keeps asking film industry guests how actors were first getting their initial breaks & then says: emmmm interesting. I think when young he gave up on film & t.v. & settled on local radio. Now after the virtual destruction of Detroit and Orleans he loves loitering in the shark infested L.A.waters which is rubbing off on him.

That sergeant Garcia, Tom Danheiser, is speeding up George's deterioration. He hasn't given up yet which is why he loves Ancient Aliens and that failure web show, Beyond Belief garbage. He wants to be on t.v. more than anything.

Noory is really going to attempt to conduct an interview about psychic and occult influences on rock and roll, including Bowie, Sabbath and Jay-Z?????
Noory thinks rock began and ended with Bobby Darrin and Pat Boone. Oh, with a little help from The Bee Gees, maybe. Should be toe-curlingly embarrassing. Mind, Elvis is on the agenda, too, so at least he'll be able to get in a plug for his upcoming sell-out concert in Toronto.

Yeah, WTF is up with that? Night Talk? What a weird dude. By weird i mean MORON.

Oh God no, Alex Fucking Jones is gonna be on?  Somebody should put that nutcase out of his misery, he's crazier than Lennin and even more dangerous.  Shame on Noory for inviting that fruit loop on.  This officially make Noory a bung hole sucker.

At least he speaks normal English - unlike the host - and is interesting and engaged. Major Dame Edna Dames on next week as well. They're both frauds but both make great listening.

I read that all the time on this board... where is the evidence? I don't doubt it's true, but I don't recall Art even mentioning Jones in the last 25 years.

No, Noory speaks well, the ethnic prejudice is in your own skewed mind. He also speaks better than Alex and actually knows radio/tv speaking tricks very well because he's trained in it for decades.

Jones speaks like a southern preacher and degenerates into rabble rousing gibberish. Jones has self taught himself in a couple of areas fairly OK and can speak on subjects well, he also researches constantly. Noory though hasn't got anything to say.

Finally Ed Dames is not only a habitual liar, what he says is total crap, NOT great listening. Plus he's very irritating to listen to as he constantly pauses to conjure up lies in his mind.

I don't recall Art ever mentioning Alex or ever having him as a guest or Alex calling in. When Art was in his heyday Alex was mainly a local access tv guy and on shortwave WWCR. I do recall Art making some noises anytime a caller mention Bill Cooper and found this guy who says Art is a part of "them":

ps: I was laughing so hard when Ty Bollinger kept talking about his "mini-series" about cancer the other night. Like Norry's "tv show." Hint guys: making a video on youtube or the internet is not television or a mini-series!

She is possessed by something and/or developed serious psychological problems due to fundy evangelical propaganda brainwashing millions.

If you dismiss any kind of other lifeform entities, wtf you're listening to c2c or interested in Art Bell for? Go to a Dawkins forum.

The C2C archive, which only seem to include '03 and later, says Jones first time on C2C was with Noory in '04, but I seem to recall that Bell had Jones on the show pre-9/11 to talk about NWO/Bildeberger stuff, and dropped him as a guest after the attack when Jones started preaching Truther/False Flag crap. While Bell was still doing some shows (weekends?) after Noory's take-over, I heard a caller mention something Jones had said with Noory and Bell said "Well, I wouldn't have him on the show", or something close, with an unmistakably tone of disapproval toward Noory.  I remember it because I was equally disappointed in Noory for letting Jones stink up the show.

washere

I think apart from Jones' opinions Art just doesn't like him. Also I remember about a couple of years ago Noory was interviewing Jones. At the end Jones was saying thank you to George and said his messages were important but the mainstream media were denying him. He said c2c reached over a couple of millions and was the only big platform that aired his views. He then said this is only due to George himself and thanked George on behalf of not just himself but the country. Then he said it's no secret Art stopped having him on because Art didn't like what Alex was saying and said frankly he didn't like me either but you (George) brought me (Alex) back regularly. Then George stopped him and said something like he'll continue t to invite him in future and changed the subject before saying goodbye.

Art often attacked the particular positions that Alex was famous for stating and had his distinctive hallmarks all over. It was always obvious who he was referring to.

Also one of the reasons Art wants a comeback is because he thinks c2c has shifted from paranormal to politics and new age plus silly topics. He wants to shift back to paranormal. Also he thinks George isn't sharp enough, initially he had said George is rare because "George gets it". Now he doesn't think so. Also he thinks George is not "edgy enough". John B. Wells says practically the same stuff as Alex Jones but I gather Art likes him and wanted to see him do more paranormal topics. I like John B. too.

Thought Knapp would be better with the occult and rock subject than Jorch. Jorch thinks Andy Williams is too edgy, wearing that sweater. Haven't listened to the show yet, but if the guest knows anything they would mention that Jimmy Page was the one into the occult, and that he collects Aleister Crowley works, and he even bought Crowley's house Boleskine, near Loch Ness. And that supposedly it is so haunted that a friend of Page's was staying there and heard a head rolling around on the floor. Don't know how he knew it was a head or a bowling ball, if he didn't see it.

Also, a few of the guys in Blondie were big into the occult, and one of the ex-members even writes lots of books on the subject. Gary Lachman has written bios of Crowley, Blavatsky, Steiner, Ouspensky, and others. An amusing aside, Chris Stein of Blondie used to collect Austin Osman Spare paintings, and he sold one to Genesis P-Orridge of Psychic TV, and he told P-Orridge not to keep the painting on the wall, because it had strange properties. Apparently, various people would see the images in the painting start to move. Weird. Austin Osman Spare is another big time occultist/painter. I'm sure Jorch has never heard of him.

Not that I believe in occult nonsense, but it's amusing to read about.

15:40:  "I'm going to go down there and be your pool boy."

He also told someone else.. I think Glynis McCants... he was probably her pool boy in a past life.  Is George providing us with some strange new fetish?

Jimmy Page got scared and Backed off like Mick Jaeger who did the famous song sympathy for the devil. For a short while in the late sixties and early seventies anything counter culture was hip and for even a shorter while Satanism was hip for a few. But it didn't last apparently. Few stayed obsessed with it and kept reading. Most moved on to the next groovy thing. Kenneth Anger fell from fashion. Even revolution of 68 failed. The turning point was the late 69 killings of Sharon Tate and others by Manson cult. Manson was a failed song writer amongst laurel canyon crowd. He got obsessed with the Beatles song Helter Skelter. Like all current survivalist nuts and Noory and Art's quickening, he thought the song was an omen for something bad & big about to happen. After those murders many creative people lost their balls and discretely became more conservative. The sixties was over.

Even many authority figures described, and still do, Manson with a possessed look. Most of the entities in the various cults, ancient and old or new, do not exist, just as Satan doesn't. However many entities of various forms do get summoned and mess with people. Crowley's Golden Dawn and other cults have  damaged many victims. Unfortunately the Golden Dawn and other similars like ordinary templi orientis etc are getting hyped these days and many youngsters joining due to celebrity hype.

Almost all of the cults and orders are BS. They just open people to entities which are of numerous variety and of all types from bad to tricksters to a few good to mixed just like there are all sorts of people. The dark orders attract demonic beings. The white orders might attract those too but are mostly harmless rituals. The churches don't have a clue about the types, what they can do and how to counter. The Catholics have very basic rituals but it's almost totally ineffective. Art used to talk to father Malachi Martin about it. The few specialist Catholic priests mainly are using their intention which is rarely enough. Despite their claims. They really don't have a clue about what is what or how to counter the various types of beings which they don't even know of.

It's really stupid to say I don't believe in these things and then dabble in them for fun. Some of these beings' types are extremely powerful and can cause all sorts of problems including fatal diseases. Some are less powerful and just mess up your mind like that woman in that video. It's best to keep away from what one does not understand. Just because you have not seen certain types of Beings you can't say what others have seen doesn't exist. That is just stupid. Specially if one does not know how to counter the many types of dark beings which requires a lot of knowledge, experience and other abilities. It's best to keep away.

As for Noory, I prefer Knapp but the problem is you can't have full on shows every night, even Art didn't. The problem is the producer chooses most guests imho. Also I must have listened to over 30 hosts on c2c, dm, kgra, revolution radio and several other para radios. Frankly they are all worse than Noory and Knapp and Art. Art's the best in getting good guests & a superb interviewer. Richard Dolan is quite good but he has two problems. Firstly he is a ufo only guy And doesn't give a shit about anything else. Secondly he is a mike-hog, he doesn't let anyone get a word in edgeways. Noory might have many problems but he is genuinely interested in all the para sub genres like Art. Ok he doesn't know much but neither does Art. I mean Art couldn't lecture on the subjects. He is just a fantastic chooser and interviewer which is rarer than good guests who specialize & research. Secondly like Art, George is basically a good guy.

The problem is when I listen to the tens of wanna be Art replacements, I can't prefer any of them to Art or George or Knapp or John B. Half are greedy ignorants on the subjects or not good at the job and/or irritating. No one is as good as Art, the rest are much more awful and clueless or bandwagon jumpers and/or disingenuous than the other three I mentioned. That is the problem, plus greedy premiere & Tom Danheiser.

Sorry about typos, swyping on the phone and watching t.v. & drinking, can't be bothered to read and correct. :)

washere

Jesse Ventura is quite good, like him but with regard to most para genres, I don't think he gives a flying fuck or can be bothered to fake it like the other greedy wanna be Candidates. He's into politics really.

Board operator was napping last night during open lines night-talk when a lady caller had a theory of Clown-fear is related to being scared by a "jack-in-the-box" as a child. Though she described it in far more detail instead of just saying: "remember those jack-in-the-boxes" that "scared the SHIT outta you" and George, actually paying attention for once, covered for her. But the "SHIT" got out on the airwaves so FCC might come calling since spewing shit content is legal but not sure about saying "shit" on-air (though, I think, recent FCC rulings have allowed utterances without fines.)

ps: how could Tommy, or George, never have heard of back-masking? I think they even had guests on that mentioned it before (but not sure) but I would think most people have heard them (or at least heard of the theory.) Plus it would "come up" in the hours of show prep for an "occult
rock-n-roll" just by basic google searching.

hehe nice avatar, hadn't noticed b4. I was thinking of doing George as the Strangelove cowboy on the rocket & even downloaded the files earlier today but decided to stop making more Photoshop on George altogether. He said when he was a kid his teacher persuaded (brainwashed) the class that Hiroshima was the best idea since sliCed bread. He has idiotic tendencies. :D
