George Noory Sucks! - The Definitive Compendium

Can Noory pronounce anything correctly?

No
No

NoMoreNoory

There was a moment when Kaplan - I forget in relation to what exactly - observed:
'For example, when I woke up this morning, I didn't know I was going to be on your show'
So it must have been a very late decision not to give the whole four hours over to Carnivora. I wonder why?
Coincidentally (yes, fuck you, Joorch: they do exist), my girlfriend was listening to a podcast in the 'Criminal' series today

(Ep 5: Dropping Like Flies)

The gist is that Venus Fly Traps are disappearing in the wild and out of farms in North Carolina (the Fly Trap is indigenous to the Carolinas) due to illegal activity. And guess where the finger of suspicion is pointing? That's C-A-R-N.......

Meanwhile, NMN observes that this week, we have had an accountant talking about cancer, a comedy writer discussing Father Christmas, a psychotherapist on the secret space war. Tonight, pursuing the theme of people talking about subjects outside their specialty, we have a retired attorney on psychic experiences and the afterlife.

noory sucks so much at open lines, looks like they floating the idea of abandoning it. Friday night there is no scheduled open lines, just a shitty guest listed. C2C used to have plenty of open lines. No even when Jorch drops a guest he gets a stand in guest. PATHETIC.

Open Lines require talent & a love of creating great radio.  We all know how much of each the Nooron has.   :(

Does Santa exist? The producers of C2C are like doctors around a body holding the paddles on it's chest, trying desperately to shock some life into the moribund corpse that is C2C. I could not take that second guest and turned the radio off. Maybe it was an attempt to rush the Christmas shopping season because CCrane has threatened to stop advertising if sales don't pick up.

Not to disagree with yout but, really, Open Lines just means the ability to talk to people and care enough to listen to what others have to say and respond in kind. Have a conversation, in other words. And, like in real life, sometimes you get into one that you don't enjoy but, also like in real life, if you make every conversation about you (and what star you ran into, your background, your "new" studio, etc) or simply "dump the caller" you will find yourself with less and less conversations to get into and find yourself talking to the same people (who for some demented reason tolerate you? Psychic vampirism?) over-and-over. How many callers now are the same tired, sycophantic, or lonely people? What every happened to a limit for a particular caller? (Having said that I don't mind some frequent callers, but you get my gist.)

Wholly true or not, it's great story:

"British sailors used makeshift enbalming when Lord Nelson died at Trafalgar. Surviving officers decided to return the body to England rather than bury this famous admiral at sea. Reportedly his body was immersed in the ship's brandy stores, the only preservative available. The sailors, though, not wanting to go without their alcohol, siphoned out portions for drinking through a piece of macaroni, eventually draining the brandy dry."
Fuckin' squids.

Jorch supposed to demonstrate how to evade ebola tonight, by doing the show with a plastic bag over his head. I hope to god Tommy doesn't have to break in after commercial and say "Ladies and gentlemen, we've lost him..."

"How many episodes do you churn out"...

Joorch has now re-categorised the disease as something called 'The Ebola'. Maybe he's anticipating an outbreak in The Ukraine.

Introducing Craig Hewlett:
'Craig, I can't think of a time when we need you.'

Beginning and end of interview, presumably.

I was half asleep, but George mentioned a comet coming close to Mars.  About a third of the distance between the earth and the moon.  He then follows up with "let's be careful"".   Be careful with what, you ignoramus?

George Noory just keeps getting dumber and dumber.  And FATTER!

I've just listened to the first 40 minutes of tonight's C2C with Noory and Hewlet.  It's amazing how much misinformation and sheer stupidity can be packed into 40 minutes.

Geoge just said to "nuke the whole place" again.

Take a look at Hewlet's website - it's state of the art - for 1990.

Tonight, pursuing the theme of people talking about subjects outside their specialty, we have a retired attorney on psychic experiences and the afterlife.

He's Lawyer Victor Zammit, damn it!  Attorney for the afterlife!  And he has plenty of evidence.

He just mentioned nuking people as the only solution to ISIS.  Why is he so focused on nuclear weapons lately?

George is amazed by how the Ebola virus works.  He clearly had no idea what a virus was until he saw a description on Fox news or wherever today.

All of which are more knowledgable on the subjects they discuss than Snorge has about radio.

Previously he's said something like (paraphrased as closely as I can get it to George speak) "Everyone has to understand we're not talking about nuking everyone including civilians.  We're just talking about dropping a little tactical nuke on groups of ISIS trucks running around out in the middle of the desert."

Today in response to Hulet's (again paraphrased) "You can't get rid of a guerrilla group by launching airstrikes on them.  You can't rid a country of insurgents by bombing them...", Noory jumped in with something like "That's exactly right.  You have to nuke the whole damned place!"

Even Hulet has more sense than Noory.

Crazy caller says Ebola was created in the 50's and has a patent.  Guest tries to shut him down and interject right away, but George says hold on, and let's the crazy caller rant.

I just remembered why I haven't listened in a long time.

This is talk-Radio at it worst.  Noory preaches Nukes and never thinks of the fallout to our allies.  Seriously, he should be ashamed of himself but he is a narcissist and a sociopath.

MTB

This has been dreadful as usual, but Hulet saying ISIS wore "baklavas" and not "balaclavas" made me chuckle.

I'm sorry, but after tonight I can't ever listen to another second of George Noory's version of C2C. This guy has not only allowed his first guest to make wild statements without any serious questions... but the second half is a LAWYER talking about the afterlife. Please excuse me while I laugh my ass off, hahahahahahahahahahahaahhahahahaahahahahahahahahaha. :)

Wtf did I just listen to?  This guest Hulet, wtf was he ranting about?  Can any of his claims be substatiated?  Did I just hear Noory pretty much agree with everything he said?

In any case the dude really needs some heavy-duty sedatives.  I think I need a few too after that goofiness.

Conspiracy to Conspiracy has turned into talk radio on crack with no-holds-barred. Georgie will believe and say anything for a dollar. He's cheap.

This stuff he is throwing out is laughable, and Noory flat out agrees with it all to the point that earlier in the night he was doing so... and following it up by saying that they two of them had been talking about this stuff forever. Most of the shit Noory has never said before. The dude is a liar, and has absolutely no credibility left.

Nick el Ass

I have a feeling that George has fallen in with the lunatic fringe, or as he calls it new media. Perhaps George knows that is names are number, and by doing so he is insuring that he has a place to work because no one in their right mind would hire such a moron.
