The weather annoys me. Here in Nebraska it goes from being over 100 degrees to below freezing in less than a month. We have two seasons, winter and summer, and they are extreme. I fell asleep last night with a few windows open and a fan on and I was quite comfortable. In the middle of the night, I woke up in the fetal position. I think it got down to the 20's last night with rain. Felt like Jack Frost was pissing in my window. What in the fuck is that about.

An update on the family member situation I revealed the other day.  The relationship has been severed.  Funny thing is, she did it.  She sent me a note stating that since I cause too much drama in her life and I don't support her, I can fuck off.  LOL!  It's lunacy.  Since we became acquainted, I was the one telling her to hang in there when our grandmother was dying, telling her to feel better when she went to the ER, etc.  She never once inquired into how I'm doing or encouraged me at all.

She sees things in such a skewed manner.  What is up is down.  What is green is red.  You can't get through to someone like that.  I'm sure she expected me to beg her to stay in her life and promise I would do better.  My reply to her rant:  Okay. Bye.

Oh, Gina, you're so much better off! I sense you'll hear from her again at some point but you're a strong one. You said "bye" and "bye" it is...I'd not give her one more piece of my time if I were you. Borderlines have a way of snaking (as in: like a snake) back into the lives of those they dismissed.

I know you're a reader and there is a book that, to date, I've found more helpful than any other when dealing with sociopaths. It's called I Hate You -- Don't Leave Me by Kriesman and Straus. It's been in print for at least 20 years and I'm on my second copy, having dog-earred the first one to death. It talks about family a lot as well.

Thanks for the book recommendation; I'll check it out.  I do think she cut me off first, thinking that she would be in control that way.  I had disengaged from her quite a bit over the past week, and I guess this infuriated her.  Yesterday she went on a bender posting photo after photo of herself.  It was bizarre.  I didn't comment on her photos, so I guess that's what sent her over the edge.  I can only guess.

             Sounds like a "win" to me. Hopefully for yer sake, she'll remain in the past tense. But you know how these types can be...three weeks from now another attempt at contact could be coming. It's always about them and their needs.
